How to find out portlet instance type without using PortletInstanceInternal

Does anyone know how to find out the instance type of a portlet using the API? The instance type corresponds to INSTANCE_TYPE column in PF_PORTLET INSTANCE table.

How to find out the condition type of the tax code in the PO document

Hi friends,
My questions is how to find out the condition type of the tax code in the PO document.
When you use me23n to display one PO document. In the invoice tab, there is one text field named 'tax code' whose value could be T1, T2, J1, J2 and so on. Beside the text field, there is one button named taxes. When you click the button taxes, it will show you the condition type of the tax code. For example, if the tax code is 'T1', then its condition type 'mwcn'.
I want to use the information on the PO to find out the value 'mwcn' of the tax code 'T1'. Could anybody help to describe the logic?it looks like the value is saved in the table konp. But I don't know the logic. Please describe. Thank you.

How to find out that particular structure is used in which tables

Hello Friends,
Most of the times through techinal information we come to know the table name for a particular field.And in se16 when i give that table name than system says its structure and not the table.So in se11 when i give that structure name in database table field, its shows all the field in that structure, but not the data stored in that field.
So my question is how to find out that particular structure is used in which tables,so that i can view data stored in that structure?

Dear,
When you click on the technical information it will give the structure name and field, double click on the structure and it will take you the display structure screen, there you will have the where-used List icon (Ctrl + Shift + F3) at the top , click on that and it will show the options, select Database tables and execute, it will give the tables related to the structure, you can explore the list of tables and find where your required field is stored in them.

How to find out the list of available idoc type in SAP. It will be good if i get to know the table name where all the idoc type definitions are gets stored.
Say i have some requirement and for that requirement how i can find the proper idoc type to be used. (assume functional consultant is not providing that information)

Hi prasanna,
we can get SAP idoc types in tcode we31.For every requirment there will be different message type.
For example we want idoc type for account invoice receipt.
First find out message type for that purpose which can be found in we81-ACC_INVOICE_RECEIPT.
Get this message type and search in we82 where we can find message type and idoc type linkage.
try this way.

u can use MB5S for the grir balances
or u can use MR11
or use ME80FN here execute the report and then select the PO history mode u will get all the pos which have been processed and the gr and ir quantity and value will be there
also u can refer ME2N here in Scope of list choose ALV and in selection parameters WE102
here u will get list of all pos with GR

hi,can somebody tell he how to find out MIGO / MIRO withou account document,because my client want to check GL of GR/IR with MIGO&MIRO.
in theory,MIGO - MIRO = GR/IR balance,but if no FI document generated from migo or miro for some reasons,they two do not reconcile,right?

If no Fi document, then there is no GR/IR account in picture. so there is no question of reconciliation.

Here is an idea for your request.
Basically you can create a simple query on multiprovider 0TCT_MC01.
Filter: you can use a variable for restriction of time ( calday, or calmonth) since you should be interested for a time period.
Choose following characters into your objects:
InfoProvider ( 0TCTIFPROV ) - you can create a variable for choosing infoprovider before query runs.
*Tp.[Type of BI Application Object] 0TCTBISOTYP = filter this with 'QUERY' or whatever your need is.
*BI Application Object 0TCTBISBOBJ, ( this will give you the name of the queries)
In key figures choose, Count for BI Appl. (0TCTWTCOUNT).
(number for query run)
Create a condition , for top 20.

It's been a while since I've done this but one method is to use ST03N & look for the execution of programs with an AQ* prefix. The general structure is AQZZ/<query user group><query name>.
You could probably get the same info from the audit log but I've not checked that.

Look at the first item in the List and see what it is?
I'm not trying to be funny. Generic information is compile time only, the types of the parameters are not generally available at run time.
You can find out the bounds on the types, if any, but not the actual types.

You can't consistently, but a lot of files have identifying characteristics in the first few bytes that make it easier.
There are utilities to do this, but I could have sworn that someone wrote a Java library to do it as well. As always, I suggest that you poke around http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/
Or do a Google if Jakarta doesn't pan out.

I am trying to find out how much my users actually use the formula and average pricing. Therefore, I am trying to build a quick viewer by relating tables. In order to use the F&A pricing, they use one particular condition type ZFA1. By linking tables vbak and KONV via KNUMV, I can see in which orders they have used ZFA1, but I also want to find out which Formula they have chosen from the repository. As this is visible for the user from the sales order, there should be a table that stores it, but I cannot find it. Does someone know the table and can help me on this topic?
