    BTW - For both DB Control and Grid Control, you can also use also find the version using the url (assuming your EM is already working)

    From the displayed page, you can also click on the License url to go to the Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g License Information.

    Thanks for your help

    There is a better way. Use kiva API to cover all OSs:
    knowledgebase FAQ 4008 (
    http://knowledgebase.iplanet.com/NASApp/ikb/index.jsp):
    ServletContext ctx = ...
    com.netscape.server.IServerContext sc =
    (com.netscape.server.IServerContext)ctx;
    com.kivasoft.IContext gxContext = sc.getContext();
    String host = com.kivasoft.util.GX.GDSCurrentEngineGetString
    (gxContext, null, "Host", "defaulthost");
    int port = com.kivasoft.util.GX.GDSCurrentEngineGetLong (gxContext,
    null, "Port", 0);
    But I also want to get the kjs's name which used in the log file's name:
    kjs_1.log. How to?

    How to find the listener port on windows?The Internet Protocol stack comes with a number of utilities - one of these, called netstat, is very useful to determine which processes are doing what to which IP ports on that platform. Unfortunately, different flavours are implemented. So the Windows one does not support the parameters and output than the Unix/Linux one.
    You can use the following on Windows (run it via a command console) to see what processes are listening on what address and port number:
    c:\> netstat -n -a -p tcp
      -n = display IP addresses and ports in numeric format
      -a = list all ports (including ones used for listening
      -p tcp = only display protocol entries for TCP An Oracle listener entry should look something as follows:
    Proto   Local Address  Foreign Address   State
    TCP     0.0.0.0:1521   0.0.0.0:0         LISTENINGSeeing IP +0.0.0.0+ means that the Listener is accepting connections on all your network interfaces - which is standard. The port number is typically 1521. The foreign address is meaningless for a port in listening state.
    PS. Why not simply check the listener.ora configuration file? Because what is actually happening may not be what you thought you configured to happen..

        extension_class = 'cl_http_ext_bsp'

    l_urls contains a table of configured ports. maybe that helps.

    Hi,
    If solution given by experts in above replies doesn't work then you can try below method.
    What you can do is, take some unique values from message content tab (which came in some specific segment from IDOC)
    Now in R3 use tcode WE09 and set the dates when this was processed. Set other filter criteria as much as possible e.g. direction, idoc basic type, port, partner etc and at the bottom you can "Fast search mode" their you give the segment name and it's value.
    This will help you get you IDOC.

    Sarvesh

  • How to change the port number for deployment in JAVA Studio Enterprise 8?

    Hi!

  • How to find the unindexed attributes

    Hi friends,
    We migrated from 5.1sp3 to 5.1 sp4.
    After migration i am facing the error unindex search error.
    how to find the unindex attributes.

    You can compare what is indexed against your complete list of all allowed attributes in your schema. Or cheat and use the console.
    To generate a list of all indexed attributes, use ldapsearch:
    ldapsearch -h <host> -p <port> -D "cn=Directory Manager" -w <password> -b "cn=index,cn=userRoot,cn=ldbm database,cn=plugins,cn=config" objectclass=*
    Each common name (cn) returned is the name of an indexed attribute. Note this will also return the type of indexes defined, which is handy. You can save this to a text file for future reference.
    You can dump your schema using the following search:
    ldapsearch -h <host> -p <port> -b cn=schema objectclass=*
    Look for "attributeTypes" entries. Note: there are a lot of system attributes.
    You can also login to the Administration Console and under the Configuration tab, expand Data and then select your suffix. In the right hand pane, you will be taken to the Indexes tab by default, here all indexed attributes are listed. Those attributes not indexed can be viewed in a list by clicking the Add attribute... button at the bottom of the screen. You'll be presented with a list of all attributes not currently indexed.

  • How to find COM port for a specific USB device

    I want to automatically find the COM port for a specific USB device. I use the VISA find resource function but I can't get the manufacturer's ID. VISA says the device doesn't have this information. The find resource function does narrow my search (and often finds the port depending on what other usb devices are connected). In the case where it finds multiple possible ports, can I safely send a message to each port to determine if it is the correct device? I know it will work for my purposes but I don't know if I am asking for trouble by sending messages to unidentified devices. Any thoughts on how I can identify my device port will be appreciated. Thank you - Dave F

    You can do it using WMI.  I have C# code I am supposed to convert into LabVIEW foing something similar to what you want to do.  In my case, I am testing a USB device and need to know which port on the hub is which COM port (the device creates a virtual COM port for communication).  Using WMI, you can find the hardware path to the device and know that COM10 is USB hub Port 1 for example.  Unfortunately, I cannot share the C# code.
    You can download the WMI Code Creator tool from Microsoft, which should help you tremendously find the proper method of getting your info.
    You basically want to look at all the W32_USB devices for the specific device you are looking for.  Once you have that, you can look for the COM Port associated with it.  I don't know when I will get to coding this up in LabVIEW, but will report back when I do, assuming you haven't found the solution by then.

  • How to find the version of Internet Sales

    Hi
    Please tell me how to find the version of R/3 Internet Sales. We are using ECC 6.0 and R/3 Internet Edition along with CRM 3.1

    Hi
    If you wan to find out version and SP information then go to
    http://<host>:<port>/sap/monitoring/ComponentInfo
    give Administrator/pasword and it will display version with SP# information for each component. As ISA is not single component application so you have to get component version information which you have used in your ISA. It may happen that all component are not at same SP level.
