How To formate PDF Data(Binary) to HTML Formate
Hi All,
I am using PDFs in my application. Once the user has submitted his project in formation through pdf, it stores in BAPI. When i tried to retrive the data from back end to display in a view. it shows me all the information is in single line because of PDf binary data. Can any one knows about how to display pdf data in a view (html) with multiple lines.
Thanks

How to retrieve complete report output in HTML format
Hi,
I'm looking for how to retrieve complete report output in HTML format.
I have tried the following and it only give me first page of the report output where in the actual report output should be 5 pages. Is there something I'm missing.
CallbackOption[] boCallOpt = new CallbackOption[1];
ImageManagement boImgMan = new ImageManagement();
boImgMan.setCallbackScript("getImage.jsp");
boImgMan.setImageManagementHolder("imageName");
boImgMan.setDocumentReferenceHolder("docRef");
boCallOpt[0] = boImgMan;
RetrieveData oRetrieveData = new RetrieveData();
RetrieveView oRetrieveView = new RetrieveView();
oRetrieveView.setCallbackOption(boCallOpt);
oRetrieveData.setRetrieveView(oRetrieveView);
Action[] oActions;
oActions = new Action[1];
oActions[0] = fillPrompts;
oReportEngine.getDocumentInformation(boDocInfo.getDocumentReference(), null, oActions, null,oRetrieveData);
Testing this on BOE XI 3.0
Thanks,For Web Intelligence, HTML is an interactive viewing format and not an export format such as PDF.
Note that the HTML will be embedded with postback URLs to the application for images and drill downs.
Closest you'd get is to be able to specify HTML output of an entire REPORT rather than REPORT_PAGE in the ViewSupport.setViewMode method. But this brings back just one report in the document, and will have postback URLs mentioned above.
Sincerely,
Ted Ueda -

Exporting data from a html format into database
Hello:
Maybe someone can help me. I wrote a Test Stand program and save the test results in the html format everyone liked be able to access the data thru a web page but now we want to save the data to a database witch I was able to do. I need import the files save in html to the database. Does any knows how to do this or at least convert into a .txt or .csv formatHey Toro,
Unfortunately there is no utility that will parse your HTML format files into your DataBase. This is primarily because the report files don't have all the information that is stored in the database. The data stored in the database is quite complex. So you might have to resort to manually inserting the fields, although this process is quite tedious. Also you cannot really convert your HTML files into .csv file, just because once a report is created TestStand doesn't know what data fields of the HTML file is important or not.
I'll place a product suggestion over to R&D to maybe look into creating a utility for our future releases.

How to get GML data in LAT/LONG format rather than LONG/LAT format
I want to generate GML from my spatial data but sdo_util.to_Gmlgeometry extracts data in LONG/LAT format where as I need it in LAT/LONG format.
Is there an easy way to extract data in LAT/LONG format otehr than parsing the gml and then switching the Lat and long.Hi,
I think it would have to do how you store your geometries, you might need a transformation before, notice the srsName from the resulting query:
SELECT TO_CHAR(SDO_UTIL.TO_GMLGEOMETRY(MDSYS.SDO_GEOMETRY(2001, 8307, NULL, MDSYS.SDO_ELEM_INFO_ARRAY(1,1,1), MDSYS.SDO_ORDINATE_ARRAY(170.5,-43.5))))
from dual
-- Result:
<gml:Point srsName="SDO:8307" xmlns:gml="http://www.opengis.net/gml"><gml:coordinates decimal="." cs="," ts=" ">170.5,-43.5 </gml:coordinates></gml:Point>
So without a transformation I would say it would be hard to get:
http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/wiki/rfc20_srs_axes
If I come across a simple solution (without some fancy manipulation of the ordinates on a custom function/package) I will post it.

How to refresh the data in published HTML?
Hi All,
I have created a Process Engineering diagram, whcih represents flow of material from Equipment to another equipment.
I have binded the diagram to data from the data base and saved/published as HTML to view it in browser. So far it is fine.
But the next step is: What happens when the data changes in the data base? The generated HTML became just a static diagram which is of not much use. If i want to refresh the data, then I need to publish again !!
Is there a way to make service calls from HTML and update the data dynamically in HTML display?
Note: I am using VISIO 2013 Professional edition
VenkatHi,
If we had saved/published Visiso drawing as HTML file, we could not refresh the data source to control the HTML data directly. We need to re-publish, I think you do not want to do it.
Thus, I recommend you use JavaScript or coding to invoke and refresh the background database when you modified it.
The following artile may also help you:
http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/refreshdata.html
If you have any question related to Programming/Code, post in HTML forums for further assistance.

How to retrieve input data from a HTML form in the UTF-8 cha
I encountered the following problem with a JWeb Application:
I tried to write a JWeb-Application for OAS 4.0, that retrieves
input data from a HTML form and writes it into an Oracle
database.
All processing should be done in the UTF-8 character set.
The problem is, that the form data retrieved by getURLParameter
are always encoded in a non-unicode character set and I found no
way to change this.
Can anybody tell me what I should do to get the form data in the
UTF-8 character set?
nullHi
Try set in the JWEB application's Java environment such
SYSTEM_PROPERTY: file.encoding=UTF8.

How can I unload data to ASCII fixed-format or delimited files,
Hello,
SQL*Loader loads data from ASCII fixed-format or delimited files. Is there such utility to unload data from Oracle database ?
AgnieszkaNo. The Export utility will dump data out but not into an ascii file.
Do you need the whole database or just some table or result of a query set?
Check out the ULT_FILE package - this will allow you to write some SQL code which will do the job you want.

Text format + attached image files or Html format + displayed images ?
Hi, I have this kind of probleme and I need some help.
(Code : see below)
I want to send a mail with some attached image files.
For the message part, I create a MimeBodyPart and add two kinds of message (text or html) and this part is multipart/alternative.
For the attachment part, I create another MimeBodyPart and I set the Header like this : xxx.setHeader("Content-ID", "<image>").
When I use outlook (html format) , I receive a mail with the picture displayed at the bottom, it's perfect.
However the problem is for the mailbox which is in text mode, I receive a mail with message + attachment files, but I also have some image frames generated by xxx.setHeader("Content-ID", "<image>") I guess.
Who can give me a hand to implement something that able to make difference according to text format or html format.
I post my code here, thanks a lot :
//set Message
msg.setText(pMsgText, DEFAULT_CHARSET);
// Partie Texte brut
MimeBodyPart textPart = new MimeBodyPart();
String header = "";
textPart.setText(header + pMsgText, DEFAULT_CHARSET);
textPart.setHeader(
"Content-Type",
"text/plain;charset=\"iso-8859-1\"");
textPart.setHeader("Content-Transfert-Encoding", "8bit");
// Partie HTML
MimeBodyPart htmlPart = new MimeBodyPart();
String images = BTSBackUtil.generateImgSrc(pictureContainers.length);
String endPart = "</div>\n</body>\n</html>";
htmlPart.setText(pMsgTextHTML+images+endPart);
htmlPart.setHeader("Content-Type", "text/html");
// create the mail root multipart
// Multipartie
Multipart multipart = new MimeMultipart("mixed");
// create the content miltipart (for text and HTML)
MimeMultipart mpContent = new MimeMultipart("alternative");
// create a body part to house the multipart/alternative Part
MimeBodyPart contentPartRoot = new MimeBodyPart();
contentPartRoot.setContent(mpContent);
// add the root body part to the root multipart
multipart.addBodyPart(contentPartRoot);
// add text
mpContent.addBodyPart(textPart);
// add html
mpContent.addBodyPart(htmlPart);
// this part treates attachment
if (pictureContainers != null){
PictureContainer pictureContainer = new PictureContainer();
String fileName = "";
for(int i = 0; i < pictureContainers.length; i++) {
