How to frame a SQL for the below Query

i have a SQL query

output
x y
1 a
1 b
where a means alpha and b means beta
select x,z from table2 where x=1
Output

  • How to deal with BRS for the below scenario?

    Hi,
    I would like to know the solution for the below scenario for BRS:
    I have a customer who was maintaining their accounts with Tally software for their previous Financial Year. This year they have shifted to SAP B1 2005B. They have issued few cheques for their vendors in the month of march 2008 which has been realised in the month of April 2008. As per Tally, the closing balance of their bank is 8 Lakh but as per the bank statement, their closing balance is 23 Lakhs. In SAP, the opening Balance for the bank is considered as 23 Lakhs. Now there are 15 Lakh worth cheques which were not realised for the month of March 2008.
    Example:
    abc a/c - 3Lakh
    def a/c - 5lakh
    xyz a/c - 7 lakh
    How do i reconcile for this scenario and what procedures do i follow in SAP?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Kaushal

    Hi Kamlesh,
    Thanks for your response.
    Actually, In the "Process External Bank Statement" window, i see that there are few entries which is for the previous year and which has not been reconciled. I have never worked practically on BRS and hence, i am scared to make any changes in the clients database without being confident on what i am doing. I need to reconcile for one of their Bank a/c for the month of April '08. I have the copy of the statements for the month ending 31st Mar 08 and 30th Apr 08. The closing balances are as below:
    31/03/08 - 2300000.00
    30/04/08 - 3100000.00
    Now my OB for Bank a/c for April '08 in SAP is 2300000.00 Dr.
    When i go to External Bank Reconciliation - Selection Criteria Screen (Manual Reconciliation), here are the detail that i enter:
    Last Balance: INR -7,000,000.00000 (Grayed out by the system)
    Ending Balance: INR -3,100,000.00000 (Entered by me)
    End Date: 30/04/08 (Entered by me)
    "Reconciliation Bank Statement" Screen opens up and shows the below balances in the screen:
    Cleared Book Balance: INR -7,000,000.00000
    Statement Ending Balance: INR -3,100,000.00000
    Difference: INR 3,800,000.00000
    As per the Bank statement, i have found all the transactions listed out here for the month of Apr '08 but, i also found that the open transactions for the previous month from April '08 have been lying in "Process External Bank Statement" window.
    Could you please help me solve my issue as to what needs to be done or could you also get me some links from where i can get few documents for processing External Bank Reconciliations?
    That will be of a great help for me. I need steps as to what needs to be done first and then the next so that i can arrive at the correct closing balance for the month April '08.
    Thanks in Advance....
    Regards,
    Kaushal

  • How to implement  BADI's for the below issue

    Hi All,
    The URL is being populated correctly (without any spaces) to the follow on document (PR/PO) created in R/3 after implementing code corrections in BBP (replacing space by ‘=’ as shown below).
    When sending the PO to supplier portal, the outbound IDOC segment does not get populated properly. The text format ‘=’ is again converted to space in ECC 6.0 which was not the case with 4.5B.
    This is an upgrade issue as the function module used to format text ‘FORMAT_TEXTLINES’ is completely different in ECC 6.0. The entire code of this function module in 4.5B has been commented in ECC 6.0 and new code has been implemented which splits the text and inserts spaces while formatting as shown below.
    This issue can be resolved by implementing a customer exit or a BADI which gets called after standard SAP populates the IDOC. It requires implementing custom code to remove the unwanted spaces inserted by standard SAP for text id F07. Hence after SAP completes its processing to populate the IDOC, the text would be processed further to remove unwanted spaces before actually sending the IDOC out from SAP R/3.
    Thus this upgrade issue resolution requires R/3 development
    1.     BADI Definition:  ME_MMPUR_EINM, Method: PROCESS_TEXT
    This option is preferable.
    2.     User exit: EXIT_SAPLEINM_002
    I need your help on how to write this code in the form of BADI's.where we write and how to implement. ASAP

  • Reduce the execution time for the below query

    Hi,
    Please help me to reduce the execution time on the following query .. if any tuning is possible.
    I have a table A with the columns :
    ID , ORG_LINEAGE , INCLUDE_IND ( -- the org lineage is a string of ID's. If ID 5 reports to 4 and 4 to 1 .. the lineage for 5 will be stored as the string -1-4-5)
    Below is the query ..
    select ID
    from A a
    where INCLUDE_IND = '1' and
    exists (
    select 1
    from A b
    where b.ID = '5'
    and b.ORG_LINEAGE like '%-'||a.ID||'-%'
    order by ORG_LINEAGE;
    The only constraint on the table A is the primary key on the ID column.
    Following will be the execution plan :
    Execution Plan
    0 SELECT STATEMENT Optimizer=CHOOSE (Cost=406 Card=379 Bytes=2
    653)
    1 0 SORT (ORDER BY) (Cost=27 Card=379 Bytes=2653)
    2 1 FILTER
    3 2 TABLE ACCESS (FULL) OF 'A' (Cost=24 Card
    =379 Bytes=2653)
    4 2 TABLE ACCESS (BY INDEX ROWID) OF 'A' (Co
    st=1 Card=1 Bytes=6)
    5 4 INDEX (RANGE SCAN) OF 'ORG_LINEAGE'
    (NON-UNIQUE)

    I order it by the org_lineage to get the first person. So it is a result problem? The order by doesn't give you the first person, it gives you a sorted result set (of which there may be zero, one, or thousands).
    If you only want one row from that, then you're spending a lot of time tuning the wrong query.
    How do you know which ORG_LINEAGE row you want?
    Maybe it would help if you posted some sample data.

    any help is appreciated.

    Hi,
    Tricky problem!
    Unfortunately, LISTAGG was only introduced in Oracle 11.2. About half of the complexity here is the string aggregation, that is, forming the list of classnumbers, such as '1,3', using only functions available in Oracle 10.2.
    Here's one solution:
    WITH     got_gpno_classnumber_cnt   AS
         SELECT     gpno, classnumber, age_min, age_max, amount
         ,     COUNT (*) OVER ( PARTITION BY  gpno

                          )   AS gpno_classnumber_cnt
         FROM    fortest
    --     WHERE     ...     -- If you need any filtering, this is where it goes
    ,     pairs          AS
         SELECT    a.gpno
         ,       a.classnumber
         ,       MIN (b.classnumber)
                    OVER ( PARTITION BY  a.gpno
                              ,                    a.classnumber
                      )     AS super_classnumber
         FROM       got_gpno_classnumber_cnt  a
         JOIN       got_gpno_classnumber_cnt  b  ON   a.gpno     = b.gpno
                                      AND  a.age_min     = b.age_min
                                    AND  a.age_max     = b.age_max

                                    AND  a.gpno_classnumber_cnt

    END;
    For Ex we have 100 recors this loops i.e For loops executes more than 100 times we need to avoid this thing and replace for loop's and write select stmt on this.

  • How do I optimize "Waiting for the next frame"

    When running my swf file in release build, the first time I start the browser after cleaning the browser cache, the .swf will appear in less than a second.  If I attach scout, I can see it is around .7 seconds to finish.
    However, after this run all subsequent times I load the page, it takes ~3 seconds.
    When I look at scout, I see almost identical CPU and memory use , but it is spending ~2.3 seconds "Waiting for the next frame".  (almost an extra 700ms per frame).
    There is no requirement for animation, all of the content is very static.   I'd just like to render it as fast as possible.
    I know it's not related to caching the .swf file because I have tried turning off the caching (by adding a random parameter) and verified using Httplogger that it is always downloading a new .swf file.  (I turned back on caching).  So I'm kind of not sure what to do next...
    What things can I try to optimize this?  Are there places I can read about this issue?
    (P.S.  >>  I notice it spends a lot more time "Waiting for the next frame" when I build a debug version.  Don't know if that's relevant...)
    Thanks!

    There's nothing you can do about "Waiting for next frame" - this is simply the time when Flash Player has finished doing everything it needs to do for the frame, and waiting for the OS to wake it up again. This depends on the framerate you set in your swf - roughly speaking, the waiting time is the budget (1/framerate), minus the time Flash Player spends doing actual work.
    You can find more information here, about understanding how the data you see in Scout relates to how Flash Player works:
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/scout/articles/understanding-flashplayer-with-scout.html
    btw, you shouldn't look at performance in a debug swf - you'll get wildly misleading results.

  • How to print Integrity sql in the preparedstatement?

    How to print Integrity sql in the preparedstatement?
    Connection conn = null;
    String sql = "select * from person where name=?";
    PreparedStatement ps = conn.prepareStatement(sql);
    ps.setObject(1, "robin");
    ps.executeQuery();
    i'm wants print Integrity sql.
    For example:select * from person where name='robin'
    How should I do?
    thanks a lot!

    PreparedStatement doesn't offer methods for that. You can write your own implementation of PreparedStatement which wraps the originating PreparedStatement and saves the set* values and writes it to the toString().
    If needed, myself I just print the sql as well as the values-being-set to the debug statement.Logger.debug(query + " " + values);

  • How can i use AME for the new OAF page.

    Dear all,
    I have developed a new OAF page and registered under Employee Self Service.
    How can i use AME for the approval process.
    Appreciate your ideas?
    zamora

    I will try to answer based on my experience of working with iProcurement and AME. It depends on how you want to make a call to AME , directly from OAF Page or from Workflow and your requirement. You didn't specify what you want to show the users on OAF Page and your business requirement.
    Before calling AME Engine from the OAF page or workflow, I guess you did already setup AME Transaction Type and it's Approval Groups, Conditions, Action Types and Rules. Do some testing from AME Business Analyst Test Workbench. Please note that, AME provides lot of PL/SQL API's that you have to call from your programs (java or workflow pl/sql)
    Let's look at the workflow and putting an OAF Page as notification.
    As Sameer said, you have kick-off workflow process from PR of CO and with in the workflow function, you make a call to AME Engine API's with the AME Transaction ID. This transactionId belongs to the AME Transsaction Type that you setup. Based on the rules setup, AME Engine generates list of approvers/approver and stores them AME Tables for that transactionId. Then, it sends a notification to the approver.
    In the workflow, where that notification is defined, in the message body you have to put an attribute(&XX_WF_FWK_RN) of type document/send. And this attribute will have the constant JSP:/OA_HTML/OA.jsp?OAFunc=XX_FUNC&paramId=-&DOCUMENT_ID-. This function is SSWA Jsp function that makes a web html call to your OAF Region.
    If your requirement is to just show the list of approvers on the OAF Page, you may have to call AME API diectly passing your AME TrasnactionId with other parameters. Then AME generates list of approvers and stores them in AME tables with each approver status. You can pickup those approvers using VO and show them on OAF Page.
    Hope this gives some idea.

  • Required clarification for the below code:

    Hi All,
    For one of my requiremnet, i found one solution which worked as expected.. But i was not able to understand the logic.. Can any one explain me the below
    syntax what exactly the meaning for the below code:
    Code:
    SELECT NULL
    FROM apex_application_page_ir_cond cond
    WHERE cond.application_id = v('APP_ID')
    AND cond.page_id = v('APP_PAGE_ID')
    AND cond.condition_type = 'Filter'
    AND cond.condition_enabled = 'Yes'
    AND cond.report_id = (SELECT report_id
    FROM apex_application_page_ir_rpt
    WHERE application_id = v('APP_ID')
    AND page_id = v('APP_PAGE_ID')
    AND application_user = v('APP_USER')
    AND report_type = 'SESSION'
    AND TO_CHAR (session_id) = v('SESSION')
    AND report_name IS NULL))
    For your refernec i have enclosed the link also
    URL : Re: Interactive_Report with Search Bar only
    Thanks,
    Anoo..

    Anoo,
    Two things. First, it makes things a lot easier if you put "{code}" (no quotes) around your SQL when you post it:
    SELECT rowid "EDIT", attr_code,ATTR_ATCL_CODE "Atcl Code", attr_description, attr_atcl_code,
                    attr_abbreviation,
                    attr_include_short_desc "Include short desc",
                    attr_include_long_desc "Include long desc",
                    attr_attr_type "AttrType", rowid "DELETE"
               FROM t_new WHERE EXISTS (SELECT 1 FROM APEX_APPLICATION_PAGE_IR_COND WHERE APPLICATION_ID = :APP_ID AND PAGE_ID = :APP_PAGE_ID AND CONDITION_ENABLED = 'Yes'
    AND APPLICATION_USER = :APP_USER) ORDER BY attr_description;Though the spacing still needs work, it's a little easier to read.
    Second, your query's exist clause just checks for an enabled condition, without checking the condition type. Without checking, I'd guess that either APEX creates at least one internal condition, or that your IR has a default condition on it (other than a filter). Try adding the condition_type constraint to your where clause to see if that fixes it.
    Also, I noted that you don't have the extra code for getting the report_id. It shouldn't be necessary, since there's currently only support for one IR per page, but you asked what the differences are.
