How to get all kind of GP work items for all users

Dear all:
Basing GP implementation,we can only get the single user's work item. Is that possible to get all of the users' work items,and can filter the work item via time field?

The above code retrives all the users from the UME
IGPUserContext context = GPContextFactory.getContextManager().createUserContext(iuser);
IGPWorkItem[] workitems = GPProcessFactory.getRuntimeManager().getWorkItems(GPWorkItemStatus.getTypeForCode("1"), context);
You will get the WorkListItems in the workitems array. The type for code which is 1 currently, must be changed according to the requirement. It is different for Completed, Inprogress Tasks, etc.

The iMac I use at the university where I work connects to Active Directory for authentication - there are no local user logins (apart from the admin account of course).
I'd like to know how to set the default items for all user logins. Specifically, I'd like the system to automatically create an alias on the desktop to a shared folder for every new user login, or automatically open that folder in Finder when logged in.
Though I'm the main user, if I'm not around other people may require access to the stuff I do for the multitude of projects I work on for a department of 30 people, and as everyone else uses a PC and only a few are Mac savvy, I'd like to make it as easy as possible for the poor dears to find the files. (We have a shared network drive where I can put some stuff but unfortunately our allocation is not very big!)

Issue with Work Items for a User

HI All,
I have an issue with workflow.
One of my user stopped receiving work items in his inbox. I checked table SWWUSERWI and found 0 entries for the user. So i guess there is no problem with the display setting in SBWP.
What could be the probable reason and where can i find if those workitems that are generated for him that he has not received.

There can be many many reasons. You need to understand the workflow and work with an example (an item the user says they should have received). Then try to follow the agent determination logic based on the data contained in that example and verify that everything matches up.

I think I got a little ahead of myself explaining my problem, so let me clarify...
Only the one iMac is having the network file deletion problem, but it is included in the network user logon problem. So 4 out of 5 of the iMacs have had or are having logon problems with network users accounts using mobile accounts on the systems. 2 of the 4 I have wiped and started over on and the other 2 have different network accounts being used by the primary system users. The 5th iMac has not caused any problems except I forgot to mention that the USB on it seems flaky.
So we are apparently full of problems.

In fact, not very clear of your problem.
Supposing you want to get fix position's value after ".",
you could firsly convert it to a string,
then position "." ,use subString() to get the value.
compare it, reconvert it back.

I'm no trying to be your PR or law firm but, from my perspective, being new to Spotify, I think some of the performer and recording industry comments about your not paying enough could be offset by this simple idea that, few in music seem to understand about streaming: Discovery on a massive scale.Attached is a screen shot I took of just one section of many, many new records I have saved. My saved playlists from others and playlists I made have many, many more performers on them.This is what makes streaming great, and what Apple does not seem to get very well with its Music app.If a performer or label realy gets this idea of making playlists here (and elsewhere) and being on social media (Facebook, Twitter, here) to not advertise or pester but, maybe, once a week, post a new playlist or comment on another performers playlist, these tendrals of connection all mean MORE plays. The good old days of the mega performer selling loads of CDs is not over entirely but, the days of more performers and labels getting more deserving listens is here.I have pretty eclectic tastes (I used to work at Tower Records as a teen and college student) so it is a lot of classical, jazz, but also contemporary, rock, and even African. Both living and dead. Young and old performers.I would have seen NONE of these and did not see much of any music CDs for a decade or more because of music store closure. Spotify brings back the music store and the ability to discover and audition an album (maybe even making the artist some money but not buying it!). Sure, iTunes and Amazon let you do that but, some classical CDs cost $25+ with downloads not that much less AND lower quality on Amazon. I'd listen then weigh it; How many times will I listen to this? Unless it was $7-10 AND I loved it, I skipped buying. I would even hold out a few years for lower price or buy used CDs instead.Now I am listening to more performers of all kinds I would never have heard and never have bought. Perhaps the big names are making less. But many less known but superb performers are being heard by me. If any artist does good work and promotes it online and it is ACTUALLY good work (rare for all genres), then people will listen and they will make money. Bad, unpromoted, derivative, worn out, lousy music with lazy artists or badly run labels, will not make money.

This forum is riddled with questions by users that cannot get their computer to do what they want, *despite* the fact they use a very precise and (usually) unambiguous method of telling it want they want it to do -- a programming language. Making it comprehend *natural* language is, by any way of measuring, a number of degrees more difficult.
That said: in what way would a computer program (advanced or "dumb") be able to help the OP? Spell check is one -- but it's not a *fact* that anything written *badly* equals nonsense. In politics, for example, the most eloquent speakers still manage to make a fool of themselves :D The same goes for "grammar". Of course, bad grammar is more difficult to understand -- EVEN for a human. So a computer is bound to fail on that as well.
Fact checking then? I usually can't even find what I want in one go with Almighty Google (which seems to turn things around: if it cannot find "enough" web pages with the exact phrase you asked it, it automatically assumes you are interested in synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, and other *unrelated* stuff! Yeah THANK you but I want to find what I typed in!)
A good starting point would be to define in more detail what this hypothetical software *ought* to do -- that needs to be a bit more concrete than "I want it to do my job for me."

How to stop PR creation from PM work order for a particular vendor?

Hello Experts,
We have following scenario for breakdown maintenance activities.
When a machine breaks down, a breakdown order is created in SAP. The external manintenance services are planned in the order. When the order is released, a single PR (with multiple item numbers corresponding to number of services) is created by SAP. The PR has a release strategy. When PR is released, PO is created followed by the SES.
The practice followed AS -IS for breakdown outside business hours:- If the breakdown happens outside business working hours, the person releasing the PRs is not available & hence PR can not be released resulting in no PO & no subsequent SES.
In this case, the maintenance is completed by the external agency & the work order is TECO. The next day, TECO is reveresed, new PR is created, released, converted into PO, & then SES.
TO-BE process:- Client expects that, for certain vendors identified, PR should not get created at all from the breakdown order. (The list of vendors will be maintained seperately). For these vendors, a framework order will be created at the start of fiscal year & SES will be created as & when required agaainst the framework order.
My concern is :- How to stop PR creation from PM work order for a particular vendor? OR delete the created PR?

I am giving a different dimension to your question check if it fulfills your requirement -
As we know Vendor selection comes at a later stage only after your PR creation, approval & RFQ etc. & PR generation from maintaine. order is controllled through control key PM03. While triggering PR from order you have to specify Material group, Purchase group and vendor. Try to control it through authorisation as all these are authorisation objects. The persons executing breakdown order shall no t be given this authoriations

How can I shut off all of the pop-up windows for all the Firefox and Thunderbird updates?
Apparently now Mozilla creates new versions of their browser and email apps every two weeks instead of just creating updates... I'm tired of all of the pop-up requests for these constant installation requests and all the problems that the new version installations create... I just want to use the software and be left alone.
I can't find a way to make Firefox and Thunderbird stop with the pop-up requests for new installations... is there a way to do this or has Mozilla just got it rigged so one can't just use the software without re-installing a new version every two weeks and running in to new plugin issues and missing features every time?

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

Hi Rajendra,
Usually in R/3 if you want to transfer the workitems to other user , you can just select the workitem and then click on "Forward" button. This will pop-up a box to enter the "User" ID of the other user to whome you want to transfer the Workitem. A Similar button is available in UWL as well.
So, in UWL when you click on the Workitem, it will should give you a button "Forward" and by clicking on that you should be able to transfer the workitem you the other user.

I have a column 'SampleNumCol' of type Number, the number of decimal places to be displayed is configured as 2.
The column conatins a value, but when retrieved programatically is displayed as 5.00000000 instead of 5.00.
I am retrieving this column using listitem.Properties[field.InternalName].
I need to trim the decimals based on number of decimal places configured for the site column.
How to get the number of decimal places configured for a site column?

Get the field as SPFieldNumber and then check DisplayFormat which returns
SPNumberFormatTypes
SPFieldNumber numberField = list.Fields.GetFieldByInternalName("YourNumberFieldName") as SPFieldNumber;
SPNumberFormatTypes numFormatType = numberField.DisplayFormat;
