How to get attributes of the XML header?

Hallo!
Does anybody know peraps, what is the Xpath expression to receive header attribute from XML file? I mean p.e. there is "<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> (...)
and so on, I need to get           version = "1.0"
they are so called pseudo attributes and expressions like //@version do not work I would be thankful for any ideas!

I don't think XPath can do it. However you can simply use a file io to read it.

  • How to add Custom Attributes in the SOAP header for OWSM

    Hi,
    I like to know how to add the Custom Attributes in the SOAP header for OSWM username token authentication.
    Currently we are getting the header element like
    <wsse:Security xmlns:wsse="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd" xmlns:wsu="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-utility-1.0.xsd">
    here we need to add the attribute "soap:mustUnderstand="1" , so the element will look like

    Hi Jay, you can make it in more than 1 way.
    I suggest you the following:
    - create an URL iview that points to any URL you want.
    - define a Resource that points to the iview (with a window name, to open in new window)
    - define an Area that points to the resource
    - add your new Area to the your current Area Group

  • How to remove the standalone="yes" attribute in the xml declaration?

    Hi,
    I am using JAXB 2.0 to generate XML files. Can anyone tell me how to remove the standalone="yes" attribute in the xml declaration? Thanks in advance.

    Just open the file with your favorite text program and type away. If you get a permissions problem (file is locked by...) then just stop tomcat and open/edit/save the file and restart tomcat.
    I also think that the admin context that comes with tomcat might allow you to modify/add/edit your users (not sure though)

  • How to get access to the partner Functions of a PO header in BADI

    Hi All,
    I have a scenario where I need to get access to the PO Header Partner Functions to get the Vendor number, in the PROCESS_ITEM method of BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST. I could not find any method to get the partner functions. Is there any way I can get this data in my BADI implementation. I'm talking about ME21n transaction code, and the PO is not created yet, hence the PO number is not available in the BADI.
    If the above is not possible, is there any other function module which I can call in the PROCESS_ITEM method of the BADI to get partner functions and their respective vendor numbers.
    Any pointers would be appreciated and points awarded. Thanks for your time and help.

    Hello,
    Use the methods of the class: CL_PO_ITEM_HANDLE_MM, in the method: PROCESS_ITEM of the badi:
    ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST, for example to access the po lines. the code is as follows:
    data: it_mepoitem type mepoitem.
    **Get the po lines.
      it_mepoitem = im_item->get_data( ).
    To look at the methods available: Go to SE24, Input the class:
    CL_PO_ITEM_HANDLE_MM
    Hope this helps.

  • How To Get Attribute Names for a Particular VO

    Hi ,
    How To Get Attribute Names Of a Vo where I can Set Viewattributname To the Table RN Columns Where I am Adding Extra Columns Based on Some Condn..
    So wen i am creating new Column to existing Table RN and we Need to add Attribute Name Also...Rt..
    And How To get RelationShip Between Database Column Name and Java Vo Attribute Name
    Ex: PlanId is the Java VO Attribute Name for the Database Column PLAN_ID
    In The Same way Hw We Get the Relation ship for All other columns In the Controller Cllass ..
    Can Any One Reply as It is urgent Req...
    Thanks ,,
    Jithen

    Instead of using the VO attribute names to set and get values, best to go to the VO definition, click on Java, and generate the View Row Class with the accessors.
    In the class where you're trying to set attributes, instead of a Row class, use the View Row class of your VO (eg ViewObjectName's class would be ViewObjectNameRowImpl), and when retrieving a row from the VO, cast the row to the previously mentioned View Row Class.
    At that point you can use the View Row Class's methods that would perform sets and gets of each column.
    To get attribute names, I don't know off the top of my head, but there might be a method mentioned in the Javadoc for the ViewRowImpl or ViewObject or ViewObjectDefinition classes to get the attribute/column mapping, or perhaps you can somehow read the XML definition of the VO which has that mapping.
    Assuming business components were built automatically and no attribute names were overridden, intuitively the attribute name is a camelcase version of the column name, removing understores and capitalizing the character following the removed underscore - but that's not a fool proof approach. Just a general observation.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to get string value from xml in JSF??

    In JSF How to get string value from xml, .ini and properties file. I want to get string value from xml or text to JSF

    Just use the appropriate API's for that. There are enough API's out which can read/parse/write XML, ini and properties files. E.g. JAXP or DOM4J for xml files, INI4J for ini files and Sun's own java.util.Properties for propertiesfiles.
    JSF supports properties files as message bundle and resource bundle so that you can use them for error messages and/or localization.

  • How to get attribute value from standard page ?

    Hi,
    How to get attribute value from standard page ?
    String str = (String)vo.getCurrentRow().getAttrbute("RunId");
    But this value is returning a null value ....
    Can anyone help me to get this attribute value which is actually having a actual value .

    getCurrentRow() would always return null if no setCurrentRow() is used.
    Please check the page design and understand how many rows of VO are there. You can also use the following to get the row:
    vo.reset();
    vo.next();
    Regards

    For big files use SAX: quicker and less memory usage.
    The xerces parser from Apache has some examples. Basically what you do is scan the XML, remembering what tag you are and once you find the right tag, read the contents.

  • I had to manually download the new version of itunes.. via tools, it gave me 4 items to download and i did not download all 4 compenants.  Does anyone know how to get back to the pop up that contains tools so i can redownlaod all of them.

    I lost my old iphone and have a new 5s.. i need to sync to itunes.  i had to donwload manually via tools but i didnt download all four files.  now when i plug my phone into itunes it says there is an error bc i didnt download all the files.  so when i go into itunes now and check for updates it says its up to date.  the problem is with the phone support file i didnt download.
    Does anyone know how to get back to the pop up that has the music player update and itunes update bc this is the only place i have seen "tools" to be able to manually update all four files....
    ***IF i completely uninstall itunes and reinstall will it still have all my songs, photos, apps etc... bc i need to sync my new phone to get all my stuff back

    this is a follow up from the profane post earlier....
    i have done this twice in two other posts..
    here is my problem.. i started off trying to update itunes, it failed twice and said i needed to install manually via tools.
    the only place to get to tools is the pop up box that appears when you click check for updates.. if there is an available update then the pop up shows up with the quick time and itunes files to download. so i finally figured that out. i clicked on tools and manual update, four files were saved to a file. Apple mobile device support, another one similar, itunes, and another one i cant remember. I only downloaded the itunes file seeing as though thats all i needed to accomplish in the first place.
    so then i restarted my computer bc you need to reboot and then reopen itunes for update to take effect. once i have itunes back open i plugged in my new 5s which i am trying to sync to my computer to get all my stuff back bc i lost my previous phone over the weekend.. once i plugged the phone in an error stating i needed to unistall the apple mobile device support and itunes and then reinstall. well i dont know where those files were originally stored on my computer AND since my itunes was updated, just not the other 3 associated files, when i click check for updates it says its up to date and then pop up containing the quick time and itunes does not pop up thus i cant get back to the tools tab to manually save the 4 files again.
    so i was just going to uninstall itunes all together and then i thought well what happens if it erases all my photos apps songs etc... which would defeat the whole purpose in the first place of me trying to sync my new phone to get all my stuff back.
    so i literally have no idea what to do at this point.. if you have read this you are probably just as confused as me...

    Give Feedback  link
    Send To  link in the news browser.
    After removing thiese things, it should look like a normal html page .
    how to  achive this ,
    if coding required then which is the par file I need to modify
    thanks
    pkiran

    Hi PKG,
    the "GiveFeedback" and "SendTo" links are called "FlexUI" commands. Most of that stuff is highly configurable and naturally you can remove them in the KM Configuration at
    SystemAdmin->SystemConfig->KM->CM->UserInterface
    -> ... -> ResourceRnderer
    Your ResourceRenderer uses a CommandGroup. In this CommandGroup you can add/remove commands.
    For example un your case its the CommandGroup "NewsDisplayGroup"
    Kind Regards
