How to get dynamic select options from logical database?

Hi,
in one of my extended reports (means - overwritten standard SAP functionality in Z-namespace) I'm using LDB 'DDF'. I've been requested to validate some of the dynamic selection options (for example - field HKONT at Document level) and to split the logic depending on the particular value(s).
Tracking what is happened in the LDB program I found that this select option is added as dynamic WHERE clause to the SELECT statement - in a way:
WHERE bukrs = p_burks AND ... AND
(where_tab)
Is there a way to get values of these LDB dynamic select options into my report and if yes - how?

I can see that "Application Server Control Console" is able to rerun a report.
This must mean that the Report Server has access to the runtime parameters.
But how?

If you run RMAN backups of a target database using a Catalog schema in another database, the target is not aware of the catalog.
The RMAN backup script would have the connection identifier for the Catalog.

Modifying Dynamic selection in standard logical database

Hello guys,
I have a requirement to add a field to a dymamic selection of standard programs.
The standard programs used the logical database KDF.
I have created a custom selection view and included the required field which is from table BKPF.
But this field is not appearing as the table BKPF is not defined as a node in Dynamic selection but in only field selection.
Can anyone please provide me with come help on this?
I need to add the a field from BKPF to the dynamic selection of standard logical DB KDF. Is this possible?

thank you very much for the precious help.
I appended the field BKTXT to BSIK and BSAK as used in logical database and these are automatically filled for new postings thanks to Move corresponding (as indicated).
We are left with only to feed these new fields with existing data/records.

Hi,
Check the attributes of the report program where you assign the LDB. You can see the parameter Selection Screen press the F4 and check the LBD is provided any Blank screen or not.
For some LDB's you can find the Report Category in the attribute section of the report. either you can create the new screen or standard screen might be provided with Blank.
Check there ..
If you don't find you can use LOOP AT SCREEN..ENDLOOP to hide the fields of LDB.
Which LDB you are using.

i want ot get first 10 records from the database and then after clicking the next button in the page,it must show the next precceding 10 records from the database.i am getting the first 10 records .but how to post to the same page to get another preceeding 10 record.

Search the forums - this has been asked a lot. I usually recommend experimenting with tops and order bys until you're satisfied.

Regarding listbox i have two questions
1) I want to get the selected items as per the order in which ihave selected.Presently i'm getting in the ascending order.For example after selcting the 1,2,6 if i select 3 then its giving 1,2,3,6.But i want it in the order 1,2,6,3
2)I want to select items from a single list box to many other listboxes.(ie) my first selection should goto first,second one to the second listbox and like this.How should i write the logic.
please give me a suggestion.

In order to have the selected items line up in accordance to the selection order, please do it one at a time. (That's the limit for that VI)
If you need more than that (i.e. to regconize which item clicked first and which one comes later), you may have to figure it out ya

I created a Selection screen by adding attribute M_HANDLER of type IF_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS.
This way I can create a selection screen with normal select-options.
Now I added a parameter for a dropdown list. The Value set is passed correctly. No problem there. The values are filled and diplayed correctly.
* add the SHIP-TO field to the selection

The problem is to GET the selected value in the method that is called after clicking on the Search button.
I tried using several methods, for example GET_PARAMETER_FIELD and GET_SELECTION_SCREEN_ITEMS.

Result was INITIAL, although the table was retrieved with all values.

Also INITIAL.
It looks like I am missing a step (maybe to set lead selection for this field). What did I miss?

Which File APIs are you using ?
For java file, you can get complete path by simple method call : getAbsolutePath() on file object.

You must copy-and-paste it. You can't access that error from within Forms.
