How to get JDeveloper to see HttpUnit libs

attempting to use HttpUnit.
I've added httpunit location to a Project class path.
Still JDeveloper doesn't see anything.
I've right clicked on Project, selected Properties,
profiles, development, paths:
- added d:\httpunit_1.5.4 to the class path box,
plus d:\httpunit_1.5.4\jars + lib + src.
Still JDeveloper doesn't resolve my
import com.meterware.httpunit.WebConversation;
statement.
Anything else I need to do?

Close, instead of addding them to the path property of the project go to the libraries node of your project setting.
Add a new library that includes the needed jar files.
And add this library to your project.
(you can also add them to the default project properties).

I'm using Windows 7 on Bootcamp on my 15" macbook pro with retina display. I want to use a programme that requires high end graphics. The problem I have is that I can't get windows to recognise there is a NVIDIA graphics card in the computer. What should I do to get windows to see this card?

HP OfficeJet 7110 All-in-One USB'd to PC Need to know how to get mac to see

Hello all. I am a new mac user and this will become evident soon I am sure. I have a new macbook with the OS X 10.4.10 version. I have a 2.16 duo with 2 gb ram and 120gb hdd. The printer in question is a HP Officejet 7110 all-in-one. The PC it is connected to is a Windows XP 32-bit 1.86 duo 4gb ram. The printer is connected via usb to the pc and works. I have connected the printer to the mac via usb and downloaded the latest drivers for the mac os x version 7.3.1. The printer worked great via usb. I have successfully connected my mac to the pc. I transferred songs and other files to the mac from the pc. I have been searching this forum and apple.com support for ways to get this to work. I even tried the smb://192.168.x.xxx/Patrick/7110 format. I try to print a paper and it goes to print waits awhile then says NT_status something blah or now its saying SMB failed with status 1. I just checked the status of the pc network and i am now connected and sharing with my mac. the printer is also shared on the pc. i have turned on the printer sharing on the mac. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Ps I should tell you how my network is set-up see if you can follow along. My house is hardwired. Meaning every room has a network connection via ethernet. SO have the cable modem into a router. router into i dont know what you call it... its like 4 boxes with 5 connections each, i guess a bigger router for each room, so my PC is hardwired into the house and my mac connects via an airport downstairs that is connected to the pc downstairs that is also hardwired via ethernet. I can see all the computers on the network including the downstairs pc, the canon printer (just cant print), my sisters MACBOOK PRO, my pc, my ps3 and xbox360. So there that is.

I tried one more time using the smb://ipaddress/patrick/7110 now it said nt status access denied...try again in 60 sec...unable to connect to SAMBA host retry in 60 sec..

although helpful it didnt solve my problem. It might be on my end. My pc is connected to the network. My printer is connected to that pc through a usb cord. Is this possible? I went into printer setup on the mac, typed in the ip address/username/printername and i tried ipadress/printer and neither one worked. all it kept saying is that nt status access denied. I dont know why it would be denied, i dont have a password on that pc. do i need to hook it up someother way or should i just say screw it and just plug it in with the usb to the mac?

How to get network to see iphone4 os 10.6.8

I used to have my iphone connected Via USB Tether to my MacBook OS 10.6.8 until I updated to iTunes 7. I fixed the kext file but network does not see my iPhone4 unless I turn on Bluetooth. This is very slow to the internet and I'd really like to get it working again thru the USB Tether. I have another laptop with OS 10.5 and the iPhone4 still works as a tethered device.
Network does not show the iPhone and it is not an option when I click + to add a device.
I hope one of you Guru's knows how to fix this...

How to get iMovie to see the video

hi- i have done everything to the letter according to instructions to get iMovie to actually display the footage on my GL2.
iMovie says 'camera connected', and i can control the playback of the camera from iMovie.
however, the actual iMovie screen stays blue. i can see the footage in my camera view window, but zilch on the actual iMovie screen.
help.
yes i removed the backup battery, i re-set date and time a few times, disconnected cables, etc, trust me.
any ideas?
i have client work and the clock is ticking.

How to get LR to see *.nef that had been *.dng

Because the LR team is still making improvements in some areas of LR's image processing, I've decided to go back to using my NEF files rather than DNG's. This way for most images I can use LR on the NEF files, but can use capture on a few that benefit from NC's processing more than LR's. I know they're going to improve it, so this is not intended as flame-bait.
Here's the trouble with going back to nef's though:
1) I move the dng files out of a folder (using windows) and replace them with the nef files of the same name (but with nef rather than dng extension). So the nef files are now in exactly the same spot on disk that the dng files were.
2) I reopen LR and it gives the "?" saying it doesn't know where the files are. It doesn't recognize the files because they have a different extension. I can go one-by-one through every image and point LR to them, but obviously that's not practical for 10k images.
How can I tell it to just use the same files with the same names (just different extensions).

Take a look at Barry Pearson's list of what differing applications will do with dng files:

One of the reasons that I use IdImager is that it is so versatile and has many of the necessary DAM features that LR does not at this time. LR will, of course, get more fleshed out as time passes.
As for the advisibility to use dngs in lieu of Nefs--I simply don't understand the need to do that for space savings (certainly not when drives are so inexpensive). The only reason to do that is to avoid sidecars IMO.
Your problem, however, is more an organization and worklow design problem than anything else :)
My advice to you is to first download NEFs to LR, develop them, sending out those that need NX treament as you encounter them, and then when all your developing is done to your satisfaction, save the whole batch out as DNG from within LR (or by using the DNG converter on the files outside of LR), and finally 'remove' (as opposed to delete) all the Nef and and Tif files in that folder from LR and reimport the dngs.
Now you will have a folder full of processed files in LR and can back up the Nefs and their sidecas to a DVD or whereever as backups. In the future, you can reload any Nef(s) that you later discover need more work in NX with the previous work you did right there through a simple import to a new folder.
By the way, I hope you are using an folder hierarchy structure that gives you manageable sized folders--not ones with 300-1000 images in them. Keeping folder sizes down gives you a lot more flexibility in operations like I have suggested above.

How to get internet without seeing our network.

Hello all.
I want clients to be able to use their laptops/ipads/iphones to get the internet, but I don't want them to be able to see our internal network.
We have a highspeed 10GE network for video/digital media and for speed reasons, we have to leave all the servers open so other freelance workstations don't have to login each time to get the storage. So if you hardline into our network, 10GE/GE, you can see our central storage.
When a client uses our WIFI, they can see that storage, but we don't want them too.
Is their anyway to have them just get an internet connection without seeing our internal network?

A recent Apple AirPort Extreme base station can create a guest network that should be completely separate from the encrypted wireless network. Of course, depending on the network configuration, that may or may not help, and if the base station isn't responsible for the network (ie, if it's extending an existing network) then it can't create the guest network at all.

ITunes music on external drive how to get iTunes to see them

How to get Aperture to "see" my MM gallery pages published w/ iPhoto?

I have been using Aperture for just two days or so. Prior to that I used iPhoto, and published many pics from there to Facebook and my MM gallery. Aperture now "sees" (shown in left menu bar) all of the Facebook pics published with iPhoto. However, it does not see or list my MM galleries, with the exception of one which I just published from Aperture. Is this one of those things that takes Aperture some time to accomplish in the background, or is there a step I need to take to make it happen? Thanks!

What you have to do is publish at least one photo from Aperture using the MobileMe icon. Then you'll need to go to me.com and sign in. Go to your MobileMe galleries and select one of the albums by clicking on it once. There are a few icons along the top-center of the browser window. The icon that looks like a pair of sliders (some people say light switches) is the settings icon.
Click on that icon and choose Aperture for the "Syncs with" setting.
You will have to do that with any of the albums that you want to sync with Aperture.

How to get iTunes to see new photos again

Problem...
iTunes and iLife media browser can't see any photos, albums & events I have added/edited in my iPhoto library since June 2012. Can't sync any new photos to iPhone/Pad/ATV as a result.

I used to have separate iphoto and aperture librarys, but did a large import of Lightroom library (folders) to aperture library (vain attempt to simplify my life) and then started using that as my combined iPhoto/Aperture library. Didn't notice at the time be this is probably about the time new photos stopped syncing (also did mountain lion upgrade about this time).
After various forum searches ive tried the following...
Deleted iPod Photo Cache folder
Using as iPhoto only library (Aperture library set to new blank library and stopped opeing in aperture).
Rebuilt permissions from iPhoto.
Rebuilt library from iPhoto.
Any help please greatfully recieved, this is driving my nuts my Apple ecosystem is frozen in time?

Updated to Mac 10.8.2, iPhoto 9.4, Aperture 3.4
Opened library in iPhoto - iPhoto tried to upgrade library and hung, assumed this after 2 hour wait and rainbow wheel (tried 2 times with force quit).
Worried a lot.
Opened library in Aperture - it opened fine and peformed the upgrade in about 20 seconds.
Library also opens in iPhoto.
I can now see my recent events and Photos if I set Sync photos from library to Aperture but not if set to iPhoto.
Im thinking either its something to do with the size of library, iphot seems a lot worse than aperture in this regard or some config or metadata is just frozen in time for iPhoto. Seems like I have a partial solution and will experiment with creating new events etc. in both iPhoto and Aperture.

Itunes music saved on external drive, now have new system. How to get itunes to see my music

I have been saving my tunes on an external disk. I now have a new system. I went in to edit->preferences advanced tab and changed the Itunes Media Folder Location to my external location. I've done this before and seem to remember doing something else but can't remember what.

You need to learn how to type in "external drive" into the search box of the Support pages on this site for iTunes. Once you learn that you will find nifty articles such as this one...

How to get iTunes to see MacBook Pro as 'Remote Speaker'?

I love Airtunes and streaming my music throughout my home with my iTunes Library. However, I'd love the ability to stream this music to my MacBook Pro at the same time that I'm streaming from my iMac to Airport extremes' throughout the house. I'm unaware as to whether it's possible somehow 'out of the box'?
I'm aware of airfoil, but was hoping there was a 'work around' to enable this using solely iTunes.

Nothing in iTunes or Mac OS X allows this. The only option is Airfoil.
