Is there any way thr which i can generate script off all tables at one time...
select dbms_metadata.get_ddl('TABLE','CONSUMER','UPCLMAIN')FROM DUAL;
I ve 78 tables and its too tedious to to one by one and i am working in 10 g...

Need a way to retrieve list of all tables through a RFM

I wish to retrieve list of all tables through a RFM.
I know the table DD02L contains a list of all other tables. I can call the RFM RFC_READ_TABLE with table name DD02L or DD03L as an input parameter. I do not wish to do this way as the table name DD02L might get changed in a future release of SAP and break my external C program.
The question is - is there any other RFM that would return the list of tables and their properties. Does SWO_QUERY_OBJTYPES or some other SWO_QUERY_* RFMs can be used?
Any useful info is appreciated.

If I relay on TFDIR table to get a list of function modules, what are the chances that SAP will rename or get rid of TFDIR in a future release of SAP? I wish to avoid using undocumented interfaces as do not want to change my program in the future.

as per the requirement in i have calculated wa-poo8-bet01 = wa_p0008-ansal/12 and i have passed on to the INNNN structure .
Nowe when do a Create or Copy for a rcord in infotype 0008 iam not
getting value on Q0008-betrg field on the SCREEN , since it is table control how to get data on the table Control Cell .

The try to find the name of the table control and pass the values to it.
Of course you have to loop and endloop, the table control and mofidy it from the work area.

Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you use the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).
You can see the difference if you use Alt+F to open the File menu or other menus like the Edit menu (Alt+E) and Bookmarks menu (Alt+B) and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by tapping Alt or by pressing F10.
* "Bookmark All Tabs" (Shift+Ctrl+D) no longer shows in the Bookmarks menu unless you open the Bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
* "Bookmark All Tabs" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of a tab on the tab bar.

How can get emails on all devices? When I read an email on my mac, my iphone doesn't download it. How can I change that setting?? I need to have all emails and all my devices!

It sounds like your using a POP3 email account versus IMAP. With a POP3 account if you do not have the settings configured to leave email on the server the problem you describe will occur. With Outlook 2010 (on a PC for example) you can go into the account settings and configure to leave email on the server. That way both devices will see the email. Check help for your Mac email program for instructions...

A better solution is if your email provider uses IMAP. IMAP sync email folders between multiple devices. Meaning any device will receive the email, all sent email can be seen on the devices. If you delete email from one device the email is deleted from all the other devices. Check with your email provider to see if they offer IMAP services.
If they do not your choices are to 1) configure email on the Mac as illustrated in the link above or 2) change email providers to something like Gmail or Outlook.com (as examples).

FWIW I use Cox IMAP email and fully sync email between a Win 8.1 Update 1 laptop, a Win 7 desktop, an iPad 4, an iPhone 4 and an iPhone 5S.

How to get list of all classpath items (URLs) in runtime from Java code?
I am aware of solution based on System.getProperty("java.class.path"). Is there any alternative?
This solution has several drawbacks. You have to parse String output. And I not sure if it contains ALL resources (JARs, class directories) loaded by ClassLoader or just reflects -cp arguments.
Does system property "java.class.path" contain ALL loaded JARs?
Does it contain items (JARs, class directories) loaded by bootstrap classpath?
What about JARs loaded in runtime?
Is the separator ":" always same on all operation systems?
I was looking for some Java API based solution, method like List<URL> getAllClasspathItems()
But there is nothing like this in ClassLoader, Class, Runtime or System classes.
For curious, here is code I use.

...Interestingly, method 1 and 3 gives the same list, same order, same count, just format of item is a little bit different. The order is same as in Eclipse .classpath file.
Method 2 (tschodt) give significantly more items! rougly 3x! Different order (somewhat random it seems to me). Some items contain extra information, like version and string "Java Platform API Specification".
It prints not absolute paths but logical Java names.

How to get the highlighted text range through Framemaker's API calls?

I'm new to the Framemaker API (7.x) and developing a plugin for Framemaker 7.x. I wanted to get the highlighted objects from the active mif document. Tried this code:

Here is how I tested it:
1. some text in the mif doc was highlighted.
2. I clicked the menu item "my_plugin", a framemaker dialog popped up, some test configuration was sent through the dialog.
3. The test configuration was read by my program correctly.
However, the debugger showed that the tr is null! When I changed the first step of the test into:
1. placed the mouse cursor at somewhere in the mif doc.
The plugin worked somehow, the line where the mouse cursor was placed got selected, although I did not highlight anything.
My question is: how to get a highlighted range though the Framemaker API call? I've been flipping through the FDK 7.0 Programmer's Reference but haven't found a solution yet. Any hint will be highly appreciated.

Here is some information from the FDK Programmer's guide page 115:
IMPORTANT: A valid text range can span multiple paragraphs, subcolumns, or text frames.
It cant span multiple flows, footnotes, table cells, or text lines.
It is possible for a document to have no text selection or insertion point at all. This can occur in
the following circumstances:
● One or more graphic objects in the document are selected
● One or more entire table cells in the document are selected
● There is no selection of any type in the document
So, I did select one or more entire table cells in the document in my first test. It's logical that the result was not like expected.
But selecting one or more entire table cells is a crucial requirement for my plugin, is there anyway to get things straight?
Simply put, I want to enable users to select one or more table cells in the document, and I want to get the object handles of the first cell and the last cell through Framemaker API calls. How?

My requirement is to get all the values from the table SKB1 to SRM (i.e. in to an internal table) for doing some validation(G/L account XXXXXX requires an assignment to a CO objectXXXXXX.)
Like wise I have many tables for doing validation in SRM
Help me how to get this, suggest me any Function module with sample code.
OR
Any Standard FM which will give all the values of the fields in the table SKB1 when I pass the key fields G/L account & company code alone so that I can improve the performance.

2. In VORowImpl of the extended VO, you can find the getter for your new attribute (example getItem())

The Function Module u2018 PYXX_READ_PAYROLL_RESULT u2019 generically reads a complete payroll result, that is for all country versions, from file PCL2 or from the buffer. In doing so, the payroll result is transferred to the PAYROLL_RESULT parameter. In the calling system, this must be classified as a complex structure according to the 'PAYxx_RESULT' dictionary structure. u2018 xx u2018 is the ISO code for the country. Now the payroll result is in the parameter FS_PAY99_RESULT. In this parameter the RT table is considered and the required values are moved into a internal table (say T_RT).

Gordons way is the easiest - just query the OJDT table for journal entry headers and JDT1 for journal entry lines if needed.
But if you want to work with the business objects:

First of all thanks for the response.
What if I have no items on a content canvas? In my application, I am using content canvas to hold the Image banner and help text of the current form, having no items at all. I am also using tab canvases to hold all items of form. The tabs are displayed on the content canvas at run time. So the tab canvases acts like frames (In my case).
Now if I am looping through items, it gives me the list of all of the tab canvases. Whereas the tab canvas always has no window assigned, as it is displayed on content canvas which has that Window which I need. Thus I am unable to get the names of windows in my case through the above stated procedure.
Another option could be if I can get the name of the content canvas upon which the given tab canvas is displayed?
Any way to do this or some other way to achieve the use case?
