How to get the inputs in different language

Hi,
I have a typical scenario in which I have a thin client (web browser).
And I need to display a word in a input text box, followed by many text boxes for getting the inputs from the user in different languages.
But I am not sure about getting the inputs from the user in different languages in the same screen and update the same in the database.
If you have idea about the same. Please share it accross.

I'm trying to bring a hindi text from one jsp to another. As i've installed all the IME n stuff, I'm able to get the display in hindi whenever i'm typing something in my textbox . But the same text is not displayed in hindi when i'm doing a request.getParameter() on that textbox.
I tried printing the UTF-8 unicode charsets like
"\\u0904\\u0904\\u0904". This does print fine. I can see the hindi appearing in these kinds of text. Also i tried out converting them to code points n stuff, and it works fine. Infact all the values that are not coming up from the request parameter are working fine.
So i concluded that in the previous page where-in i'm giving the inputs, probably they might not be wrapped up in the UTF-8 charset. But i've specified the charsets to be UTF-8 in the meta info for both the pages.
Kindly help regarding what might be the issue. Please tell if i missed out any point while explaning.

the senario is i have keyfiger heading like DESPATCHES MADE ON (0CALDAY) and CUMMULATIVE DESPATCHES FOR (0CALMONTH), the 0CALDAY is the input value of the report. so how to get the value of the 0CALDAY and 0CALMONTH in the heading name of the key figer.
I really appreciate for any help on this.

How to get the input data on the arbitrary draw event ?

Hi all,
I'm trying to draw a histogram on a arbitrary parameter (just like the "Levels" effect). The draw part is well, but I have a problem with the input layer data (param[0]).
All I have to do now is read the input data on the arbitrary draw event. But there's not the input pointer on the draw event. So I called the PF_CHECKOUT_PARAM() function to get the input data, and it works!
When I test in AE, I created a layer A, and added some color correction effects to the layer A before added my effect to the layer A. The problem is the input layer my effect read is not the result of previous effects I applied before.
Has anyway to read the latest input data in the arbitrary events ?

In another way, I created a sequence data like this:

my_sequence_data.histograms is an array with in_data->total_time / in_data->time_step items initialized during the sequence setup.
During the render call, I cached the calculated histogram at this current_time to the sequence->histograms[in_data->current_time / in_data->time_step], set the didRender = true.
In this way, I have another problem with the AE cached image. I disabled a random previous effect on the effect panel, then the AE re-rendered my effect, the histogram changed (good). I enabled the effect again, and nothing change (bad )
I try to force the AE re-rendering after the custom UI changed ( I tried with the event_extraP->evt_out_flags = PF_EO_HANDLED_EVENT; and params[HISTOGRAM_UI]->uu.change_flags |= PF_ChangeFlag_CHANGED_VALUE; on the click, drag events...) but it seem not works!
Am I on the right way ?

I am working on an application in which, if some fault occurs in the flow I need to insert the input payload that is being sent to the BPEL process into a Queue using Java. I have gone through the FaultHandling framework and failed to find the method by which we can get the input payload. Can someone kindly help me in getting the input payload. using the java.

I want display "Date" in Local language. Written code as below to display date in my RTF Template:

To get the local language format tried 1) by Putting "DEU" instead of "$_XDOLOCALE" 2. Tried by declaring a variable with value as "DEU"
But it two cases it showing in english format not in Germany Language. Please give me idea how to get date in local language.

Dont think you have anyway to tell the target language for a single text retrieval. You can obviously set the locale of the user but that will change language of other texts also. If you always want to show some predefined text in English then better you dont keep the those texts at all in the translated files. Or you keep the English text in all the files - so that everytime English only gets displayed. But if your case is a selective one - i.e. you want to show English text to only German users but spanish to Spanish and French to French then I dont have any answer how to achieve the same.

How to get the input screen?

HI friends i have got a problem in displaying the initial screen in screen painter.
in process after input i am having one push button(display) where when i click that push button it has to call a program for that program i am having one input screen like empid.
I am working like in PAI
when 'display'.
submit <program name>.
Here it is displaying the direct output rather than displaying the initial screen where we have to give the input(empid).
Can anyone give me solution for this.

Use the SUBMIT statement with addition
USING SELECTION-SET to pass the values to the selection screen of the called report. Just press F1 on submit. It will show various additions. U can use any one which suites ur requirement.

Does anyone know how to get the inputted values in Classification view of MM02/MM01? I tried to use CLAF_CLASSIFICATION_OF_OBJECTS but this gets the values that is currently saved in the tables and not the values that the user recently inputted in the screen.

When a file is uploaded, the file name is also submitted. The path of the file is available only to the machine within the Local Machine security zone. The value property returns only the file name to machines outside the Local Machine security zone. See About URL Security Zones for more information on security zones.

when you give a particular date in any month
the following fm will give you the last date of that month
here you can give
R_FDATE-HIGH as 01 and month as the period you wnat and year for current year
concatenates '01' month year into r_fdate-high separated by '.'.
then it will give g_ltdt for that month and year which wil be the last date of that month

How to restore the languages in the input sources under 'Language and Text'

Dear all,
Recently, I am trying to free up my disk space on my macbook and I downloaded this software call Monolingual. Basically, it removes languages that you do not use to free up the disk space.
However, I accidentally remove the language that I use which is Japanese and now it seems like I cannot find it anywhere under the input sources of language and text.
Does anybody know how I can restore everything back to normal?

I think you will have to reinstall your OS. If you are running Yosemite, see

Best to avoid Monolingual and simlar "cleaning" utilties if possible, it is too easy to make mistakes that destroy parts of you system.

How to change the input language ?

I am writing an Add-on that needs to change the input language when the user
clicks on the Item Code field ("5") in the "Item Master Data" form.
I can perform the change when I am out side of the SAP application (for example if I create a Windows Form), however I cannot control the input language of the SAP itself through code.
I even tried using Application.Sendkeys, however I was unable to send a combination of ALT+SHIFT, or at least it did not have any affect
Here is the code on how to change the input language on a Windows Form:

I am not sure I understand the problem. Anyway in B1 you change the language by
changing it from the Administration module. This raises a Application event that
is sent to all the add-ons. The event is aet_LanguageChanged and you should
then change the language handled by your add-on when you receive it.

How to get the file input stream from the client machine by JSF HtmlFileupload or fileupload API. At present, if i execute the file upload code in the client machine, it is able to get the local path of the file and looking for the file in server machine. So i am getting FileNotFoundException.
E.g., If a file is located at client machine at following location means "C:\Test\Test.txt",
uploadClass.getFileuploadComponent().getFilename().toString() returns "C:\Test\Test.txt". But it is looking for that file in server and throwing FileNotFoundException.

Depends on which version of JSF you're using. If JSF 1.2, I wouldn't even bother trying to hack this into JSF itself unless you can use something like Seam 2 or richfaces.

But if I were you, a simple non-jsf form with a servlet works best for taking file uploads.
