How to give the root path in flash for linux os?

hi all,
This is santhosh, I have a problem with xml path in flash. Iam trying to load some swf files into another swf file, it's woking fine in windows os but when I check this file in linux it is not taking the path which I gave for loading external swf files.So, any help on the same will be grate for me.

I guess the path you are using is wrong. It works on your mashiene as the src path is available. When you run the app on a server (jspx file) there is no src path as long as you don't include it in your WAR wich you should not do anyway.
If you need to access such data you can create a folder in your webroot folder and the the resources from there as /xml_folder_name or if the xml files shouldn't be visible from the outside put the folder under hte web-inf folder.

How to get the same look as flash for borders?

Hi i have selected circle and filled the circle with some color. now i want to have border around the circle so i have saelected stroke from the edit menu and applied with one pixel. how ever it is not giving a solid look as in flash. in photoshop the border looks like disolved and transparent. is there a way to get the same look as flash?

Look at the image. i have described everything there in the image itself. even when we use layer style it is the same problem. is there a way to resolve this? the text in the image is as below.
if u carefully observe the circle pointed there is a slight gap between the border and the filled color. This is not good. i dont want any gaps between the border and the filled color. I have used bucket to fill the circle and used stroke from edit menu to get the border for the circle.

I want to use a pre-fab script to monitor the OS folders on a Windows 2008 R2 Domain Controller and send any changes into the Event Log. But there are two folders in the file path I want to exclude because changes to them would fill up the Event Logs
too quickly. Thus, I want to monitor all folder in C:\Windows but want to exclude C:\Windows\Temp and C:\Windows\debug.
The script I want to use is below.

First, thank you to everyone who has been helping me. I've gotten a little bit further in what I need to do. I still have two problems that I really need help in sorting out:
1. The script will run on Windows 7 with no errors but will not run on a Server 2008 R2 Domain Controller. On the DC, I get an error for the SourceIdentifier: "A parameter cannot be found that mataches parameter name 'SourceIdentifier'."
2. Even though the script runs on Windows 7 with no errors, I tested it by making changes to the Temp and debug folders and the changes were still being recorded in the logs.
A copy of the updated script I am running is below:

i am developing a page in jsp , in which i will open tiff image or autocad drawing,
i get a file from one CMS, through JSP i login into CMS and get the file reference, till that i am successfull.
but after that to open a file i have to copy that file into local pc or to the server(where my jsp page runs) and then try to open it.
could any one know how to give the reference to the path if i have to copy the file to the server or my Local PC from CMS.

How to get the file path in adf application

hii all,
i have a txt file that i am using in my adf application,
i am passing this txt file through a File Reader, for which i have to mention the file path.
The file is in web-content and when i am hard coding the complete file path i.e C:/JDeveloper/myApp/ViewController/public_html/log.txt
the application is working fine when run on integrated weblogic server.
My requirement is to access this file without giving the static file path, as in case i have to use this application on any other machine..
for that how to mention the file path-
i tried using FacesContext to get the context path :-
FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getRequestContextPath();
which gives me
\myApp-ViewController-context-root
after appending public_html\log.txt
I am using the following path to access the file :-
\myApp-ViewController-context-root\public_html\log.txt
again i am getting the java.io.FileNotFoundException
Does anyone know how to use file from inside the web-content without giving the complete path..???

In ServerB only the iviews has to be displayed in the content area but not TLN,Toolarea,etc.

How to get the absolute path of logicalhost server domain on Windows?

My logicalhost server domain behaves strangely. I am reading a file from collaboration definiton, that is located in the logicalhost/is/domains/domain1/config folder. I thought, that this folder is used as an application root folder so I can read files like ./file from there. And it worked.
But then I've installed the domain as a Windows service, restarted the PC. When the domain1 gets started, I get exceptions saying that the file can't be found. Then I restart the domain (in domainmgr.bat) and it works again.
I am pretty sure that using the absolute path will solve this issue, so my first question is: How to get the absolute path of logicalhost server domain on Windows?
And my second question is: Why does this happen?

The default folder for a Windows Service is the system32 folder contrary to the instance root folder when starting it as a normal process.
That's the why, haven't tried the how, but you should be able to get the value by calling System.getProperty("com.sun.aas.instanceRoot").

I have no clue how to overcome this 'new feature'.
Can anyone help to find a single solution to get the file path both on Firefox 3 and IE7?

As you're posting this in the JSF forum and looking at your [previous topic|http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5342365], I assume that you're using Tomahawk's t:inputFileUpload.
