How to hide previous shape for build action?

I have a white shape that appears on click. I need to display another wider shape with less transparency on the 2nd click. But the first shape needs to hide because of transparency in the 2nd shape.
I'm not sure how to affect a shape lower down in the build order. From what I understand, only one build action can be applied per option. Is there some way to accomplish this type of workflow?

Looks like this can be done as a build out.

You can do this by taking the edit link off the report and putting it into your report SQL.

Below is my preferred approach, by selecting only relation and Hierarchy sections,
The relation section contains the Node Name and Parent Name ( you can include any other properties, but as a best practice keep the Parent Node as the last column).
The Hierarchy ( Hier ) section contains the Hierarchy Name, Top Node and Hierarchy description
Follow the Import steps and provide a Name for the version.

How to hide previous project files??

If you have a client sitting with you at your computer and you have iMovie open for reviewing, etc., you might want to hide previous projects, but iMovie shows ALL previous "events"! How do you hide all past work and start with a "clean" slate without loosing files??

Get an external hd and just move them off by holding down the ⌘ Command key while dragging to move the folders rather than copy them. iMovie doesn't have a simple way to hide those projects, they literally need to be moved out of the iMovies Project folder.
The other quick and dirty way of doing it is go to:
Mac HD > Users > (your home folder) > Movies > iMovie Projects > (drag the folders out to the desktop). These projects can be dragged back in after you are done screening the Project for your client without any damage to the projects at all. So just try dragging them out for now.

How to hide layers or movies using Action Script

I am using a few layers and would like to hide a specific

rsagi: Layers are only layers while you are editing the fla.
When compiled, layers are merged. I think the best way would be to
use movieclips as containers and hide the "container movieclips".

1) Do some or all of those subreports span multiple pages?
2) Do each of the Subreports start on a new page?
If yes, for both, then here's what you need to do:
1) Create a formula (@True) with this code:
shared booleanvar SetStatus:= True
2) Create another formula (@False) with this code:
shared booleanvar SetStatus:= False
Drag and drop the @True formula on the details sections for which you want the Page Footer to be suppressed.
Similarly, drop the @False formula on the details sections for which you want the Page Footer to show up.
Then, go to the Section Expert > Select Page Footer c > Click the formula button beside Suppress and use this code:

You can use javascript to do this dynamically.
For example, i used Adobe Designer 7.1 to add a table to a subform.
Now, i have the object hierchy as:
Level 1 - form1
Level 2 - form2
Level 3 - Table1
           -->HeaderRow
                --> Cell1
                --> Cell2
           -->Row1
                --> Cell1
                --> Cell2
Now, i sleect the Table1 element, and write the javascript which is executed on Initialization, as
if(this.Row1.Cell1.rawValue == "")
this.HeaderRow.presence = "hidden" ;
This will check that if the first row is empty, it will hide the header from the layout.
You can use something similar for your requirement.

Hi - I need to write a class for an action in the interactive scripting editor. The class will create a new case (case management) and return the number. I have created a class with a method that does this and has been fully tested but we cannot get it to work as part of an action within the ISE. Are there any guidelines for writing classes for the ISE. Or has anyone done this? Do I need a super class? I have searched every where but can find nothing on this. Many thanks.

How to hide image displays for lightbox

Using DW, I have a lightbox display. Here is the page:

As you'll see, if you click on the photo, it opens up into a lightbox. My colleague wants to have 10 photos open up in the lightbox but they do not want all of those photos to have thumbnails on the page. In other words, they want one single photo, you click on it, and then see all 10 photos in the lightbox.
If I put all of the img code for all 10 images on the page then all 10 images will also show up on the page. So I have to somehow "hide" the images so that the small version of the photos do not show up on the page but will show up in the lightbox.

Well that would be pretty easy just do as 'Per' suggested in the previous post and hide the 'thumbnails' you don't want on the page:
Create a rule in your css - something like:
.hide_thumbs {display:none;}
So typically a set of light box images might look like the code below. (when clicked they open in a lightbox and that lightbox usually has an option to display the other images in that particular gallery by clicking through them, rather than clicking on them individually).

How to delete a shape for real in JSFL (possible bug)

I have this big JSFL project I'm working on that involves deleting a raw shape (ungrouped) and then replacing it with another one. The problem is that the original shape doesn't always actually get erased (I haven't figured out the precise circumstances where this happens yet though). Even if it does get deleted, though, when I draw the new shape on the stage (using Path.makeShape), the new shape has extra vertices where its edges cross those of the original shape. So even if I end up with the correct-looking shape on the stage without the one that was there before, my shape I just created is likely to have extraneous vertices (and I need the vertices to be unchanged).
Some details:
First I select all the shape elements in a frame by looping through the frame elements, adding any with elementType == "shape" and isGroup == false to an array, and then set fl.getDocumentDom().selection to be that array. Then I call fl.getDocumentDom().deleteSelection(). Then I call myPath.makeShape() on a path I created previously.
So does anyone know of a workaround for this? I've tried changing the selection and changing currentFrame to something else and back, but those didn't help. I tried deleting the shapes earlier -- before I do the work of building my path -- but still the same problem.
One idea I've just had: perhaps I could group the shape I'm going to delete and then delete the group. Maybe that would solve it?
Anyway, if anyone has any ideas about this please let me know. If any Adobe people are hanging out here, does this sound like a bug? If so, is there a workaround for it?

I tried the grouping idea that I mentioned and yes, grouping the to-be-deleted shape before deleting it solved my problem. The question still stands, though: Is this phenomenon a bug? Can anyone from Adobe comment on this?

How to hide controls/indicators for different user selection?

I am trying to simulate time interval analyzer using labview tools but I have a problem in making identical screen as it is on HP 5371A. The only problem is when you choose different arming mode, text pops up on the bottom with different parameters for every mode. So I am trying to build my front panel so that I will have identical features as on HP screen but how can I make some controls/variables (such as delay in secs) dissappear from F.P. for particular arming modes and then again appear for other cases (modes). What you'll need to do is to use a while loop to monitor the state of the control. Based on that, you can make other controls visible or invisible, change the strings of a single control, or make controls enabled or disabled. I've attached a simple VI that shows how to make multiple controls visible and invisible. I've only done a few of the arming mode options. For a complete solution, you're going to have a lot of property nodes and I would look at using control references inside of a sbVI. Another way to do it is to forget about emulating the instrument's panel altogether and use the versatility of a computer screen. You've got a lot more real estate than most instruments and have things like tab controls that a user can select.

How to hide REASSIGN Button for PO Requisition Approval Notification only

Hello,
I have a requirement in which I have to HIDE the REASSIGN button from the PO Requisition Approval Notification page. I realized that this page(NotifDetailsPG.xml) is being used by Sourcing Module too for sending the Approval Notifications. So I cannot directly set the Rendered Property to False for this as this would hide the REASSIGN button in Sourcing Approval Notification too.
So, how do I hide the REASSIGN button from the Notification page only if the Page is being used as PO Requisition Approval Notification? Can I use SPEL command in this case? Can somebody help me with this issue?

When the user viewing the notification has been granted the Workflow Administrator privilege (through the WF_ADMIN_ROLE preference), then the Reassign button will always be visible, even when the message attribute #HIDE_REASSIGN is set to Y.
This allows Administrators to reassign any notification when necessary in exception cases.
But in my case, the user do not have the Workflow Administrator privilege. He was not assigned with any workflow Admin Resps. Is there anything I am missing to check the WF_ADMIN_ROLE preference for a particular user?

We have some notifications sent to the Oustide Suppliers, In those Notifications we are haveing 3 buttons displayes (Yes/No/Reasign).
Based on the Previous posts regd the same subject, I checked the Notification Attribute '#HIDE_REASSIGN' , it was already set to 'Y'. Changed to B and tested but same result,
These users do not ahve any responsbilities except for one Supplier Responsibility.
Can you pls help me on this issue.

I have built an extension for jdeveloer/sqldeveloper and I used the ConnectionManager Class to start my dockable.
Having migrated from Jdev10g to 11g it looks like that the ConnectionManager class was removed, at least I'm
not able to locate it anymore.
I've provided the source code below, to show how I used to work with the class.

thanks for the quick response. Seems that my extension project in Jdev 10g was messed up by putting the new sqldevloper.jar in the class path. I've migrated to Jdev11g and the missing class is found.
Where I'm lost right now is the way to get a connection from the pool. Most of the classes that I used for that (oracle.jdeveloper.cm.dt.ConnectionNode, oracle.jdeveloper.cm.dt.DatabaseConnectionNode;)
are not longer existing and it looks like there is a new way to achieve this in Jdev11g.
Is there a documentation available somewhere, where the "new" strategy is explained?
