Hi ,
How to Hide/show the columns data while doing Drill down or drill up in webi report .
Does it possible BO 3.1 version ?
Please suggest me on this.

While that is not there yet, you can make use of the show when empty yes/no in combination with alerters.
So I have an alerter applied to every cell of the table.
When a condition is true (say I drilled down) I just put = "" in every cell, emptying the table,
because its now empty and doesn't need to show, it wont.
For the detail table I use the opposite, so when you drilled down it becomes visible...
Hope this helps all that do not have 40 yet

How to hide/show a column in reports 10g according to the parameter value

Hi,
I want to hide a column in the report according to the parameter value, is it possible?
For example, there is a parameter called P_TYPE. I want to hide a column called 'BALANCE' if the P_TYPE=0.
This column is not the last one in the table, so if it is hide then that empty space should be occupied by next column.
Is it possible means please explain me how to do it?

Create a format trigger (for both the header and the column item) that returns False on you condition.
Set the horizontal elasticity to Contract (for both the header and the column item).
Sometimes Contract doesn't work. Try Variable in that case. This has the disadvantage that the field can also expand.

Is it possible to show /hide the column contents on particular conditions for a dataTable??
In other words, there may be a situation where I wanted to hide the object for row1 but not for row2
I tried with setRendered method. But the problem I am facing is for all row values the last condition is applying

Yesterday only I got the answer. Thought to post my idea here but got delayed.
After posting this question, I did some investigation on how dataTable component works.
Instead of using DefaultDataTableModel i have binded my own bean array which has pre computed values.
Now it is working fine

How do I show the bookmarks toolbar while in fullscreen on Firefox 20? In older versions you could edit the userChrome.css file. Does that still exist?

After searching for this option, it appears it was very easy to do in older versions of firefox on windows 7. Many posts say you can edit the userChrome.css file to add:

However, on 2 machines with firefox 20, I've searched for that file and cannot find it. Does it even exist any more? if not, how can I set firefox to go to fullscreen mode and continue to show the bookmarks toolbar? Unchecking hide toolbars does not work for the bookmarks toolbar.

userChrome.css does not exist by default. You can create it; it's an ordinary text file. Note that you do need a namespace at the beginning of the file.
You could try this:

I added the second rule to prevents the toolbar area from rolling all the way up. The specific value may need to be adjusted by a few pixels depending on your toolbar heights.

How can I show the "file," "view," and "format" drop down menus on my tool bar?

I am a new mac and Pages user. So far, I think I have a handle on the inspector, but a lot of what I have been looking up requires clicking on the "insert" drop down menu...I don't show that on my screen. How do I get those menus to appear? I have discovered how to place the different icons on the tool bar, just not those drop downs.

That's very scary. They might do it, but I personally have never had Apple contact me re id's except on their site when signing in. I suggest you DO NOT respond until you have a phone conversation with Apple security. They can verify if they sent you the e-mail and why.
While it's very possible it's true,again, I suggest you not respond until you speak to someone at Apple. I've often read here that when people sign in they are not allowed to because "someone else has used the id" type of statement.
Also, you should be able to go to the app store and see what apps you have downloaded.
Though it could have been a free app, have you checked to see if any were bought with your id account?
I've gotten these types of e-mails from places like USPS and FedEx which look amazingly authentic and were from their website. The Finder reports File information. The date and time of the photo are in the Photo's Exif metadata. The Finder has no awareness of this. All photos apps on any system do.

If you don't have a backup, then all your pics/text/notes are gone.
You can sync back music and app. If you were syncing your contacts with a program in itunes, then you'll get that back.
Not sure why you didn't do a backup, especially prior to doing an upgrade.
