How to imlement or import a file

Hi,
I'm wondering how I should do to make two different classes available for eachother when these are located in two different directories.
Do I have to import or implement the file in some way? If so, can you please show me how to do it.
I have done it like this:
     connectToMur.ConnectToMurService service = new connectToMur.ConnectToMurServiceLocator();
// Now use the service to get a stub to the service
     connectToMur.ConnectToMur ctm = service.getConnectToMur();
But the compiler gives me this error:
FormBeanAdd.java:127: package connectToMur does not exist
     connectToMur.ConnectToMurService service = new connectToMur.ConnectToMurServiceLocator();
FormBeanAdd.java:127: package connectToMur does not exist
     connectToMur.ConnectToMurService service = new connectToMur.ConnectToMurServiceLocator();
FormBeanAdd.java:130: package connectToMur does not exist
     connectToMur.ConnectToMur ctm = service.getConnectToMur();
Does someone know how I should do?
Regards,
Emma

Emma,
The best way to do these id to have both classes in one jar file even though they may be in different directories. you can use the jar file in your classpath. You should then be able to refer to each classes by just their names themselves instead of directory names etc.
Let me know if got your question wrong

  • How do I get Import and File Format Documentation

I requested access to the CS2 SDK spcifically requesting that I wanted to create an Import or File Format plug-in but the documentation and the sample code is missing for those kinds plug-in types. Where can I find the documentation that I need to develop these plug-ins? Thanks. Rich

You'll have to request that separately (or again). Contact your ASN rep and tell him/her that you need access to Format and Import info. You should be sent (pending approval) the "Advanced SDK" via e-mail.

  • How to validate and import csv file to mysql? (Concurrent update)

    Hi
I have a csv file with various columns of data which need to be validated and display in a jsp page. After the validation, the data needs to be imported into mysql DB.
May I ask how can I retrieve those data, validate them and import them row by row to DB?
Also, the program needs to handle concurrent update of DB. i.e. user A can import data through jsp page while user B can upload the csv file to insert into table.
    Thanks

validate them Just write Java logic accordingly. You may find the java.lang.String API useful.
and import them row by row to DB? You can use the JDBC API for this. There is a JDBC tutorial here at Sun.com. Google can find it.

  • Sender SOAP Adaptor - how to use an imported WSDL file

I have to implement an inbound soap interface between my client and its external customer. This interface is in place with the legacy system, which has a webservice that the external customer invokes to send us data.
Now the problem im facing is, the external customer is not willing to change anything on their end (like using our new webservice) except the connection URL,user name and password.(which makes sense too)
I have the WSDL which is currently used imported in XI but has all different namespaces,SOAP address location etc and if I use the messages in the WSDL as it is as my source then its failing in my message mapping.I cannot create the same schema (data type and message type) because the current WSDL root element and some other elements start with a _
Thanks in advance for advices on how to go about it.
    Mat

    Hi Joseph,
I've had problems importing and using certain WSDL's too, and needed to create my own datatypes and service interfaces to circumvent the problem, using my own namespaces. In order not to have any problems with the namespaces used by the sender, I used the anonymizer bean in the soap adapter module.
I didn't understand what you meant by elements starting with 'a_'. Is the sender using different element names in the WSDL than in the XML sent ? Perhaps you can show us the WSDL and an incoming test message ?

  • How do I not import RAW files into iPhoto

I shoot RAW + Jpeg with my cameras... Up until a recent upgrade to Mavericks... I would put the SD card in the iMac and it would import all the JPEGs, and then say something like 75 files could not be downloaded.
Those were the large RAW files and I would then just move them to an External Hard-drive and use Lightroom and Canon's DPP to edit them.
After the OS upgrade the RAW and JPEGs now both import into iPhoto and onto the Mac Hard-drive.
I can't seem to find a way to not import the RAW file into iPhoto. Is there something I am missing?   I do not want those large RAW files wasting space on the mac, and I have notice iPhoto is really slow since the upgrade.
    Thanks for any help

    A. To move an iPhoto Library:
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
    1. Quit iPhoto
    2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
    3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
    4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
    B. iPhoto and Raw
    1. The Raw processing engine in iPhoto the same one used in Aperture, but with less fine control. (Think of the differences between Word and TextEdit, iMovie and Final Cut).
    2. Processing Raw in a 3rd Party Application
You can also process your Raw with a 3rd Party app like ACR or Photoshop. But iPhoto does not handle this gracefully and it's a bit of a kludge.
First off set your preferred app as an external editor in iPhoto:
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.
Note that iPhoto sends a copy+ of the file to Photoshop, so when you save be sure to use the Save command, not Save As... If you use Save As then you're creating a new file and iPhoto has no way of knowing about this new file. iPhoto is preserving your original anyway.
Next: In the iPhoto Preferences -> Advanced, elect to use Raw with your External editor:
Now when you go to edit the Raw it will be sent to your external editor.
    Now for the kludge:
You cannot save a Raw. The work you do must be output to a new file, in a new format (jepg, tiff, whatever). However, as the External Editor is making this new file iPhoto has no knowledge of its existence. Therefore you must save it to the desktop and then import it back to iPhoto as a new file.
This means that you will have your Original Raw and the processed version in iPhoto but they will not be recognised as version and original. iPhoto will see them as two separate shots.
Further - and this is quite a consideration: Lightroom is not an editor. Like iPhoto it's a database app and images need to be imported, processed and exported from it. It occupies the same place in the workflow (manager/non-destructive processing) as iPhoto does so in makes zero sense to use both...

  • How do I correctly import .mov files?

I have HD .mov files that were shot on a Canon XA10. I am using a Mac Pro for editing. The files are quite large (12.17 GB) and long (1 hour 45 minutes). When I bring the files into the source editor, the first second or two plays and then the video stops. I can scrub along the timeline and can hear audio but if I stop to play, I hear and see nothing.

They were opened from the camera in Quicktime and then exported to .mov format.
    Proper way to import footage
AVCHD footage comes in a complex file structure that contains much more information than is typically found in video clips.
You can work on footage while it's on the storage card. But if there is any difficulty, the first thing to do is to copy the footage onto a hard disk. Be sure to copy the entire file structure of the card instead of just the clips.
Always use the Media Browser in Adobe Premiere Pro, or use Prelude, to import the footage.

  • How to convert and import MTS files from my Sony NEX 10e into iMovie for editing?

    Hi, dear all,
I have hard time to bring in my footage shoot using Sony NEX 10e camcorder into iMovie 11 for editing. Is there anyway I can convert these MTS files foe editing in IMovie 11?
    Thanks in advance!!
    Kevin

Some frame rates and resolution combos will not import into iMovie directly. That's true. For instance, 1920x1080 @ 60 progressive frames per second (meaning not interlaced), that is not compatible with iMovie and you might need to convert it using a program like ClipWrap. Also if you have just the 'bare' .mts files, iMovie will not be able to import those either. iMovie expects to find all the folders and auxiliiary files recorded onto the memory card when you shoot AVCHD video. It needs all those extra pieces to navigate to the video clips and subsequently convert them from .mts to Apple Intermediate Codec. So in the case where you have a 'bare' .mts file use Voltaic HD to do the conversion.

  • How to see an imported FLV file on the timeline

I have a feeling this is a really basic question, but I am pretty new to Flash. I've imported an FLV file. This file is a slideshow of photographs with a Ken Burns effect already applied. I was hoping that I would be able to see the video frames on a timeline. What I then want to be able to do is jump to different frames (approximately where the photo changes) as a result of clicking buttons.
I thought this would be a good project to do in Flash as a way to learning.
    Lots of help needed
    Thanks,

If you imported it, embedded it as an MC, you should be able to scrub the timeline and see the video change - assuming your timline is the length of the video. Double check the frame rate of your video and the frame rate on your timeline for an accurate match.
Try importing to a fresh flash file too, to make sure nothing in your other flash file is hindering your progress.

  • How can I reduce imported AVCHD file sizes

Help! I have a Sony HDR SR1 video camera (AVCHD format) and I import files directly into imovie for editing. the problem is that imovie is creating massive files that are rapidly filling my 500GB disk. One minute of imported HD video (which imovie stores as a quicktime file) takes up about 32GB. It hasn't taken long to wipe out my disk at that rate.
Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a more appropriate way of storing the raw footage? The video camera only store 30GB on its internal disk and this is meant provide around 7 hours of HD footage. If the file sizes really do need to be that large is there anyone out there who's sorted out storage and backup routines?

One minute of imported HD video (which imovie stores as a quicktime file) takes up about 32GB.
If you are going to play with the big boys (full HD) you need big big equipment (LOTS of hard disk space).
Why not ask the question in the iMovie or FCP/FCE forums.

  • How do I properly import video files in iMovie 10?

iMovie loads my videos real fast, but as soon as I disconnect my iPhone 5, all the videos are unavailable for editing. I need to import clips from several iPhones and cannot have them all connected while editing a movie.
I've tried to consolidate files in the drop down menu, and I've tried to import the clips into iPhoto, but the phone still needs to be connected to access the files.

FCP only works with broadcast formats and dimensions.  So 1920x1080, 1280x720, 720x486 (and 480).  Computer recordings are completely different dimensions.  So first thing you need to do is convert/crop to match one of those settings.
Second...FCP only works with broadcast video codecs.  ProRes, for example.  So while you are converting the screen size, you need to convert the frame rate.
OR...get Adobe Premiere CS6 and work with the footage natively.  It will do what you need.  FCP...will be a bear.  This is why I got iShowU and did the capture and edit all in one app.

  • How do i *only* import audio files?

I want to get every single audio file on my computer into the iTunes library, but I want to skip over all movie files. Can I do this without searching and adding everything manually?

I use a 12 year old computer so the layout may have changed with recent versions. Use Finder > File > Find  Specify the folder or location (e.g., the whole computer) you wish to search, and Kind is Music. You can use the + button to add more criteria such as opened in the last week.

  • How Direct Import .AVI file in to Final Cut Pro 6

How can i Direct import .AVI Files in to Final Cut Pro 6..
Please Tell me Any kind of plugin or application or codec.....
    thankyou very much

The AVI file extension merely indicates that the video contained inside could be from any number of codecs; like a QuickTime .mov, .avi is just a wrapper. Saying you have an AVI file is much like saying you have a car ... it doesn't really tell us anything specific. You need to find out what codec it actually is, then you'll know whether or not it can be imported into FCP without conversion.
But you'd be better off converting it to a QuickTime codec that FCP works with natively prior to importing.

I have succesfully installed the MPEG StreamClip & flip4mac into my iMac. So now I can both play wmv files on my iMac as well as importing wmv files into iMovie & FCE.

    Hi there,
I have purchased the MPEG-2 Playback component from the Apple Store.
I can now convert the mpg files to mov using the MPEG StreamClip.
However, I cannot playback the original mpg files using QuickTime Player. I can only playback the original mpg files if I click on the mpg file then goto more info & change open with MPEG StreamClip.
But how do I open with QuickTime MPEG-2 playback ? I do not even know where the OS installed the MPEG-2 Playback component to ?
