How to include a Header in the Open Script
Hi
I have a header called "X-Forwarded For", and i want it to be used in the script, i have tried the following statements to do so:
1) http.headers(http.header("X-Forwarded-For", "12.1.1.1",Header.HeaderAction.Modify));
2) http.headers(http.header("X-Forwarded-For", "12.1.1.1",Header.HeaderAction.Add));
But none of the ways worked for me. Can you please help me out to deal with this problem?
Thanks & Regards
- Fahim
Perhaps I was not clear in my previous reply. You must send the header with the first navigation, and then it will be sent with all future navigations. Your cannot call http.headers() directly unless you save the return of the headers, and then pass the returned headers to the first navigation. After that first navigation, you will not need to send the new header in any subsequent navigations assuming the proper HeaderAction.
http.get(1, "http://testserver2",
http.querystring(http.param("QueryString1", "QueryValue1")),
http.headers(http.header("X-Forwarded-For", "12.1.1.1", Header.HeaderAction.SetIfNotSet)),
false, "ASCII", "ASCII");The 12.x OpenScript users guide explains the http.get and http.post in full detail in sections "6.6.2 Adding HTTP Get Navigation", and "6.6.3 Adding HTTP Post Navigation", which includes setting http.headers()

Can we include the customize results in the Open Script Result Summary
hi all
can we include the customize results in the Open Script Result Summary if we include what is the code.
customize result i mean
Scenario: i am checking the concurrent job is completed successfully or not
result:Concurrent Job Completed Successfully
i am want to see the above result in the Open Script Result Summary can anybody help me on this.You want to launch a concurrent program, right? And to check the result, right?
Is that for a functional test script or a load test script?
Let's say it's functional. You have basically 2 options:
* Do it separately. You create a scenario which launches the program and you write the RequestID in a file, then you create a second script which read the file and then go to the concurrent processing dashboard and search for the RequestID and check the status. You have to desynchronize the 2 scripts. Launch the first one. And then, later on, launch the 2nd one when you are sure the program is finish.
* You do it in one single script and you wait til you get the status. See the code below I've written for a customer (for a POC);
This is not the best option in my opinion because you don't know how long you need to wait and therefore you block other scripts execution... But the customer wanted it like this.
do {
delay(5000);
forms
.textField(
"//forms:textField[(@name='JOBS_PHASE_0')]")
.storeAttribute("Batch_Phase", "text");
info("Phase du traitement: {{Batch_Phase}}");
forms
.button(56,
"//forms:button[(@name='JOBS_REFRESH_0')]")
.click();
} while ((eval("{{Batch_Phase}}").equals("Running")));
But wait, after having written all the stuff above, maybe you just want to check the toolbar status, is that correct?
Normally, OpenScript automatically insert a "status bar test".
Then I guess there's a default time-out (30 or 60 sec I think), you can maybe change to adapt.
Well, looping could also be an option as i describe above.
Let me know

How to run the open script code from eclipse?
Hi,
How to run the open script code from eclipse.
Please let me any soulutions on this.Hi Konda
I am not quite sure you can do that and it would even be not supported... Again, what is the purpose? Why do you want to run your openscript code in Eclipse?
What is the code you try to run?
As an example, even if you include al the jar files and so on. don't think the function "Launch Browser" could work because it isn't only java code orjar files.....
If you give us more background. maybe we can guide you to a better solution...

How can I remove items from the open a recent file menue.
How can I remove items from the "Open a Recent File" menue. Many other applications allow the clearing of that file . Is this possible in Adobe Reader 10.1.2 ? If so how?
See this previous topic: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3759596
It is for Acrobat, but the registry entries are similar for Reader. -

How to Including custom text in the step "User Decision"
Hi All
Please help me in this regards I got problem
How to Including custom text in the step "User Decision"
Regards
Poonam
Edited by: Julius Bussche on Feb 2, 2009 1:59 PM
Please use the corect forum, meaningfull subject titles and use the search before asking questionsHi Poonam,
If I understood your problem correctly...
When you create a user decision a screen will appear.
In the decision tab under Title you can give your custom text.
Even if you want to give some variable (value of which will be determined at runtime) you can give that as well.
Like you have created a container for BOR objects MAT_DETAIL, in that object there is a field MATERIAL.
You can define your custom text as below:
Title: Would you like to create new material or display material &
Parameter 1: &MAT_DETAIL.MATERIAL&;
In Title you can give as max. as 4 &(ampersand). And each & will be replaced by each Parameter at runtime in same sequence.
In parameters you use to select the container defined by you earlier.
Hope this will help. -

My question is that How to add a report into the SAP-SCRIPT .
by using PERFORM ......ENDPERFORM
I don't know how to used it .Hi Sandeep,

Calling ABAP Subroutines: PERFORM
You can use the PERFORM command to call an ABAP subroutine (form) from any program, subject to the normal ABAP runtime authorization checking. You can use such calls to subroutines for carrying out calculations, for obtaining data from the database that is needed at display or print time, for formatting data, and so on.
PERFORM commands, like all control commands, are executed when a document is formatted for display or printing. Communication between a subroutine that you call and the document is by way of symbols whose values are set in the subroutine.
Syntax in a form window:
/: PERFORM <form> IN PROGRAM <prog>
/: USING &INVAR1&
/: USING &INVAR2&
/: CHANGING &OUTVAR1&
/: CHANGING &OUTVAR2&
/: ENDPERFORM
INVAR1 and INVAR2 are variable symbols and may be of any of the four SAPscript symbol types.
OUTVAR1 and OUTVAR2 are local text symbols and must therefore be character strings.
The ABAP subroutine called via the command line stated above must be defined in the ABAP report prog as follows:
FORM <form> TABLES IN_TAB STRUCTURE ITCSY
OUT_TAB STRUCTURE ITCSY.
ENDFORM.
The values of the SAPscript symbols passed with /: USING... are now stored in the internal table IN_TAB . Note that the system passes the values as character string to the subroutine, since the field Feld VALUE in structure ITCSY has the domain TDSYMVALUE (CHAR 80). See the example below on how to access the variables.
The internal table OUT_TAB contains names and values of the CHANGING parameters in the PERFORM statement. These parameters are local text symbols, that is, character fields. See the example below on how to return the variables within the subroutine.
From within a SAPscript form, a subroutine GET_BARCODE in the ABAP program QCJPERFO is called. Then the simple barcode contained there (u2018First pageu2019, u2018Next pageu2019, u2018Last pageu2019) is printed as local variable symbol.
Definition in the SAPscript form:
/: PERFORM GET_BARCODE IN PROGRAM QCJPERFO
/: USING &PAGE&
/: USING &NEXTPAGE&
/: CHANGING &BARCODE&
/: ENDPERFORM
/ &BARCODE&
Coding of the calling ABAP program:
REPORT QCJPERFO.
FORM GET_BARCODE TABLES IN_PAR STUCTURE ITCSY
OUT_PAR STRUCTURE ITCSY.
DATA: PAGNUM LIKE SY-TABIX, "page number
NEXTPAGE LIKE SY-TABIX. "number of next page
READ TABLE IN_PAR WITH KEY u2018PAGEu2019.
CHECK SY-SUBRC = 0.
PAGNUM = IN_PAR-VALUE.
READ TABLE IN_PAR WITH KEY u2018NEXTPAGEu2019.
CHECK SY-SUBRC = 0.
NEXTPAGE = IN_PAR-VALUE.
READ TABLE IN_PAR WITH KEY u2018BARCODEu2019.
CHECK SY-SUBRC = 0.
IF PAGNUM = 1.
OUT_PAR-VALUE = u2018|u2019. "First page
ELSE.
OUT_PAR-VALUE = u2018||u2019. "Next page
ENDIF.
IF NEXTPAGE = 0.
OUT_PAR-VALUE+2 = u2018Lu2019. "Flag: last page
ENDIF.
MODIFY OUT_PAR INDEX SY-TABIX.
ENDFORM.

How to include a Header in Hierarchy List (ALV)?
Hi Gurus,
If we need to include any header in ALV Grid, then we generate an event and pass that header to TOP_OF_PAGE event. We do have I_CALLBACK_TOP_OF_PAGE parameter for the REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY function module.
But how do I generate a Header for a Hierarchy List? I do not find any parameter for TOP_OF_PAGE event. Please help with inputs.

Edited by: Sujisruthy on Jun 16, 2010 1:23 PMHi,
Please see documentation of enhancement MM06E005 (transaction SMOD).
Userexit EXIT_SAPMM06E_016 is a component of enhancement MM06E005.
With that enhancement, you can
- Maintain/supply your own customer fields
- Update your own customer-specific tables
You cannot:
- Change standard fields
- Change data that depends on the document header in the items
- Change data that depends on an item in the document header
Please have a look at Business Add-In (BAdI) ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST.
