I went through the same links, Here we are developing again webcenter portal application.Is There any out of box integration of the same.Did you look at 'Process spaces' ?

The fastest way is to use external tables or sql loader (sqlldr). (If you use external tables or sql loader, you don't use C# at all).

Create a script in openScript and save it to a workspace (a shared directory on the OTM server). To add an Oracle OpenScript test to OTM:
1.Select the Tests tab.
2.Click the Add button.
3.Enter a name for the test.
4.Select Oracle OpenScript in the Type field.
5.Click Find to display the Select Script dialog box.
6.Select the Repository and Workspace.
7.Select the Oracle OpenScript script that you want to add.
8.Click OK.
9.Select the owner and priority and enter any descriptive information in the Functionality and Description fields.
10.Click Save.

We currently use Oracle Webcenter Interaction portal 10gr3 (ALUI Portal)... Does anyone know how or can provide documentation on how to integrate adobe flex into this portal.. Our portal is on windows but it is the java installation of the portal. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

How can I customize the whole oracle webcenter portal

We have a project that uses oracle webcenter portal. I want to customize it starting to its landing page til the content. I tried using extending webcenter spaces project but my build.xml has an error in clicking clean-stage. I followed the instructions correctly but still not working. I also tried following the tutorial about customizing at runtime, it works but its only for a specific tab. Is there any other way in customizing the product?

Hi Nagarajan,
In webcenter there is no concept of portlets.Here you need to have all the portlets as WSRP.
So in a jist, you need to expose your current portlets as WSRP and the same should be consumed in webcenter portal pages.

the date value in xml file is in the format of "01012003".
i want to insert into oracle table.but iam getting an error "ORA-1843: not a valid month".

That's not a date. It's just a string. Convert it to a date using,
DateTime d = DateTime.ParseExact("01022003", "MMddyyyy", null);
or
Dim d As DateTime = DateTime.ParseExact("01022003", "MMddyyyy", Nothing)
and then bind it to a parameter. ODP.NET will take it from there.
You should never be hard-coding the date literal into your SQL query.

you can use CTAS method or you can export & import the tables..

In order to create and develop a webcenter portal application, you only need to install JDeveloper and download the WeBCenter extensions. That's true.
But this install does not include the WebCenter services like dicussions, document services, analytics,... If you want to use these and integrate them in your portal, then you would need to install the suite as described on my blog.

How to load XML files into oracle

I am new to XML.I have a few XML files.I want to load them into oracle.I have oracle client on my win2000 machine version 8.1.6.3.
I cannot find Loadjava.jar file in ORACLE_HOME\bin directory.
Where is the XSU-dsl and the XDK utility?Do i need to down load it?

Do you want to migrate code or data?
If its code you'll probably have to do a manual rewrite. Sometimes there are utilities to convert code from one system to another, but some manual fixes are usually necessary even when these exist.
If its data there are copy utilities. As Satish pointed out you could use SQL*Developer, or possibly Oracle Migration Workbench

Pl post details of OS, database and EBS versions. You will need someone with APPS HRMS experience to guide you thru this process. One option could be to use the WebADI interface. Another option could be the Mass Update feature. The solution will depend on your exact needs

The problem is that you need to pass avalid URL , Document...

How to pass bind variable into oracle reports 6i - Parameter form

Hello All,
I want to pass bind variable into Oracle Reports 6I - Parameters.
I have tried out that but got the below error :-
rep-0781 : Bind variables are not allowed in the select statement
Kindly help me is there any option which allow me to pass bind variables into Oracle reports 6I.

may be its not possible to use :P_PARAM1 in user parameter of oracle 6i reports
but u can full fill user requirement using oracle forms
create a form as like as report parameter window
then create parameter list and run report

How to store txt file into Oracle 7 Database using Pro*C

Hi,
I want to store a txt file into Oracle 7 database table using
Pro*C application. But do not know what type of column to use.
At first glance it appeared to me as LONG can serve the purpose
but later I noticed that I can not do the sequential read/write
in LONG type of column. That is, I have to use chunks of max of
2GB (or file lenght) to read/write into such columns.
I want something simiar to CLOB of Oracle 8.
I would appreciate if you can provide me solution.

You store images in a BLOB column in the database.
However, inserting image in that column and displaying data/image from that column are 2 very different tasks.
If you are using Oracle forms, displaying is easy. Default block sitting on the table with BLOB column, can be easily mapped to image box (or similar control), which will display that image.
Inserting images will be a different ball game. If your forms are web based (i.e. run from browser) and you want to insert images from client machine, some special arrangements are required.
If images are on database server and you want to insert them in database, the stored procedure given in the earlier thread (posted above) will do the job.
