How to initialize the Http Tunnel Connection

hi all,
I am developing an application in which i have to get the images from the server.At first i have used the Apache Tomcat it was working fine in my localSystem.
when the same application when getting the images from the server it was getting the following exception in the RunTime,Error in HTTP Tunnel initializing
what does it mean,is this a problem in the network.Can anybody give me the way to initialize the Server or the midlet to get the image.
When the same URL in the Browser it was displaying the image.Can anybody please give me the solution in this aspect

hi ,
The above preferences about the network will work fine when you are working with the localhost.When the same application dealing with the network connection like http://mywebsite/.... it was not giving wny response.
I don't know the reason for that, if you know please share with me.but the application will work fine in mobile. I tested that application with the ASP file in my website with the 6630.

Hi All,
I’m using JDev 11.1.1.3.0.
I’m developing ADF Fusion Applications (ABC BC, ADF Faces…)
These applications are deployed on a Weblogic server.
Each application has only one Application Module.
All Application Modules have the same connection type defined: JDBC DataSource : jdbc/GCCDS
It is working fine.
I’ve also developed Task Flow Applications for small thinks that are reused in multiple main applications.
Each Task Flow Application has also one Application Module with the same connections type as main applications.
All these task flows are deployed to JAR file (ADF Library JAR File) and are reused on my main applications. (drag and drop from the Resource Palette to ADF Regions….).
There are some parameters passed to Task Flows, so that they can filter data depending on which main applications they are called from.
Everything is working perfectly.
All my main applications are using more and more task flows. Which is nice for the reusability etc…?
Only ONE PROBLEM: DATABASE CONNECTIONS.
Every Task Flows service made a database connection. So one user may have 10 database connections for the same adf page. And when there are 100 users that are working at the same time, it becomes a problem.
How to share the same database connections for the main applications and all task flows which are used in the main application?

When I open a ADF Library JAR file of one of my task flow. (gcc_tf_recentSites.jar)
I can see TF_RecentSitesService.xml and TF_RecentSitesServiceImpl.class in gcc_tf_recentSites.jar\mu\gcc\tf\recentSites\model\service folder

Here I used J2ME as client application, through servlet runner I am tring to connect to server program. Initially Its worked fine.. But I changed some interner explorer settings. then I got this error. When I changed those setttings to normal also I am not able to connect to the server. Even I reinstall the whole softwares. But the problem is still there.
So could any one help me to resolve the problem.
Its very Urgent project. Its completed but when I try to demonstrate, that day only to connect my PC remotly I changed internet explorer settings very badly. It causes all the damage. Even I changed them to normal also I am not getting any.
Please help me to resolve it.

We're encountering weblogic exceptions when switching between client applets
in the same browser session. Each applet, when invoked, establishes an http
(ie, an http tunneling) connection with the weblogic server. When we use t3
as our protocol, everything works fine. When we use http, however, we get
the following client-side exception as soon as we switch over to the second
applet.

itself to die. When we do this, the second applet works fine UNTIL the first
one dies, then it pukes with a similar error to the one above.
It seems like the 2nd applet is trying to access the first one's http
connection stream, and in doing so is throwing an exception upon discovering
that this applet's thread is already gone.
Can anyone guess why this may be happening?

way you know of to prevent the applets from sharing sessions? dont know at this time...
session identification are put in cookies and browser instance maps that to a URL.So everytime the browser connects to the URL it identifies with these and they, as far as i know will be same for both applets...
purely a browser concern?dont know...
maybe weblogic could do something at its marshalling/unmarshalling layer of HTTP tunelling...but not sure...

I think it is going through SSL handshake which implemented in HTTP protocol in J2ME.
I have already done the proxy setup and authentication in Sun Wireless toolkit > preferences > Network configuration.
Still error is there. Please help me regarding this, not able to go ahead and rest in peace.

I'm trying to ichat to work on an imac connected to a coporate network. I'm trying to connect through a proxy and keep getting the error "http tunnel connection unexpectedly closes".
My .mac account is set to connect through a proxy on port 80 using the http protocol.

Can I suggest you ask here about the HTTP tunnel issue.
I have never used iChat this way and think you need to solve that first.
I do know that iChat manages Proxy connections better if pointed to using the System Preferences Settings (Network > Advanced Button)

If you encounter problems when establishing a connection to your target server, check the following:
A message box appears while performing one of the following actions:
      Setting connection by choosing Apply to local session.
      Testing connection settings by choosing Test settings.
      Creating SAP TSQL objects
If errors occurred, they are displayed in the respective message box.
   Check developer trace files in ST11.
Test connection:
     For RFC related errors, check the RFC connection via SM59
     For database multi-connect errors, check if you can connect to the target SQL Server with the SQL Server Query Analyzer. Also check if the DBCON entries are correct.

You need do the following for oracle type4 driver:
1) register the driver:
$IAS_HOME/bin/jdbcsetup
Driver Identifier: Oracle_Type4_816 (whatever name you like)
Driver Classname: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
Driver Classpath: .../classes12.zip (install this this zip file somewhere
and add this zip into the Classpath later).
2) DataSource Setup:
start iAS Administration Tool (iASAT)
Choose Database, unfold iAS1 (your app server instance),
choose External JDBC Datasource -> add: DataSource Registration
JNDI Name: yourPoolName
Driver Type: Oracle_Type4_816 (select what you just register)
DataSource Url: jdbc:oracle:thin:@hostName:portName:dbName
Username: your_user_name
Password: your_passwd
(Datasource Pool: using defaults for now): you can also customrize the
parameters for the pool.
3. Add classes12.zip into CLASSPATH.
In your application, you can use JNDI lookup to get the DataSource from
which you get the connection from the pool.

My LapTop model is HP Pavilion dv4-2045dx entertainment notebook whose host operating system is Windows 7.
Because the current hard disk capacity is not enough, I need to replace it with a new hard disk with bigger capacity.
After take out the old hard disk and install "750 GB 7200 rpm Western Digital Scorpio Black 9 mm internal hard drive" into my LapTop, how to initialize the new hard disk ? What is the host Operating System for the new hard disk ?
