How to install MS Office University 2010 on Windows 8 via Parallels 8?

I have the macbook pro retina (mid 2012) and im trying to do the above. I only have a product key of Office which I bought online and I dont know
how i can install it to Parallels. I tried to download the Office from the Microsoft website and it sent me the .exe file and tried to download with Parallels.
AS I download its trying to convert it and gives me an error conversion. Im lost. Please help me.. Thanks a lot!

Simple you start your VM of Windows, Have the downloaded .ISO or .EXE file of the Office install files and just run it from Windows. If it is an ISO file you may first have to load that on a USB thumb drive using something like ISO to USB program. That is found on the Web by doing a Google search for "ISO to USB".
Then once the install of OIffice starts it may ask for the key or it will ask for it the first time you start one of the Office programs. Type in the key you have.

I purchased my Office University 2010 in September 2012 and still have the order confirmation e-mail with the product key. Now suddenly I'm prompted to verify my product key because it is supposedly not genuine. The verification process does not accept
my, genuine, product key. I have never installed this software on any other computer. Please advise.

     I'm trying to resume regular scheduled Full backup ( ~ 1 TB ) of drives using external HD (to allow off-site redundant backup storage) .
     What are relative speeds of USB vs. Firewire vs. eSATA ?
     I suspect eSATA connection may be considerably faster … how to install eSATA on mid-2010 Mac Pro desktop ( dual hex-core processors)?
      ( The quicker and easier backup protocol is, the more likely one is to use it to backup on a routine repetitive basis.)

Adding a USB 3.0+eSATA PCIe card, which The hatter mentions, is the best solution that I've found. See http://eshop.macsales.com/item/CalDigit/FASTA6GU3/. The card is not cheap, but the USB 3.0 works flawlessly (which can't be assumed; ask me how I know) and the eSATA connection allows booting from the connected drive. Grant Bennet-Alder's point about HD speed is important to consider; in addition, the size of the individual files being backed up and where on the backup disk they're going will affect overall transfer speed. For example, using the USB 3.0 connection on that CalDigit card going to a Toshiba 3TB external, the transfer rate for a big file (say a virtual machine file) from an internal SSD boot drive was about 145 MB/sec while a bunch of little files might drop to 30 MB/sec and both rates decrease as an inner partition on the external is used. All told, a nearly 700 GB backup took under 1.5 hours. Using a HD as the source added almost an extra hour, though a WD external was used for that. If you need to write or modify documents made with Word, Excel, or Powerpoint, then you need Office. Otherwise, you don't. If you already have it then installation just involves double-clicking on the Office Installer's icon.

Windows 7 tells me "No device for audio output is installed". Windows automaticly?installed a driver, but that doesn't work. (code 39). The driver download from?creative does not install new drivers and when I try it manually Windows tells me "The best driver is already installed"
When I uninstall?the driver that Windows installed and try to install the downloaded?creative driver for Windows 7, the driver will not install, and Windows message is something like "?no audio device is installed on this computer"
What to do ? A computer without sound is nothing...

No version of Forms/Reports is currently supported on Windows 8. Also, because Error Correction support for versions older than 11 have ended, no new certifications will be provided for those versions. I would recommend you consider upgrading to Forms/Reports 11.1.2.1 as we are hoping for Win8 certifications in the future for this version.

The current entry is picked from the PATH vairable of the system and user that you have logged on. This is because you have already done 1 Oracle Installation on the host.
Keep in mind that you choose the correct oracle home while installing and in future updating Oracle software (patchset, Interim Pactches...)
You can give a seperate path for Oracle Inventory. Just go thru to the existing folder of OraInventory in Program files you will understand it better.
It is used to install and update the Oracle software in the oracle home that you will choose in your next step.

There are plenty of informations on the Internet if you want to do it but nobody here will help, because is against the forum's rules.
And, you can't buy Mountain Lion if you do not have a Macintosh with at least Snow Leopard installed.
There is no physical media. Mountain Lion is provided by Apple through the Mac App Store.

I am wanting to do an online course which uses MS Access 2010. I am using an Apple Mac and thought I could use Bootcamp to set up a Windows partition to use the software.
My query is once I have created a database with MS Access 2010 in Windows on my mac, is the database essentially useless for my future mac work?

As I mentioned there is no Access for Mac. Microsoft never made one. Office for Mac includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint (and Outlook for the Business edition.) And even these are missing some features of their Windows versions. (e.g.: Excel macros often don't work on the Mac version of Excel.)
You can bring over your general knowlege of database programming (e.g.: relationships, joins, normalizing,) to any database product such as MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle Database, Filemaker, Alpha5, OpenOffice, etc. But none of those other database products will open a database file made in Access. I just bought a new MacBook (the 13" version) and I'm new to all this Mac stuff, you know the Mac OS and everything. I'm trying to add some of the programs I usually use in my other two systems (Windows Server 2008 and Linux) and one of them is Open Office. I downloaded the version 3 from the apple's site but I don't know/understand how to install it. After I downloaded I execute the icon in the mounted image and open office starts right away. Is that the way it is supposed to be? I mean, no installation? Somehow it doesn't seem right that everytime I want to execute one of its apps I need to mount the img file and then run it form the pop up window. Any clues?
btw, I have also rad some posts in many forums reporting some problems with Open Office and Leopard and the X11 server. In most the cases it is solved by installing a new version of the X11 server. That sounds very weird! (you see, that is exactly why I love Win...these things never happen and I never had to ask in any forum how to do things in Win :-p )
Anyway, I'd appreciate any help on the issue. Btw, the new MacBook rocks well done Mr. Jobs and Co.

you need to drag the application icon from the mounted image to the Applications folder. the app will be copied there. after that you can eject the dmg. you won't need it any more. to use the app double-click on it in /Applications. that's how most OS X apps are installed.
