    Hi,
Just check out the snote 816773 which speaks about valid license to use DB2
    1. You are an SAP customer and you already have DB2 licenses from IBM or IBM sales partners. In this case, your IBM license documentation is used to verify usage entitlement. You will continue to use the DB2 licenses you obtained from IBM in your SAP system.
    2. You are an SAP customer with a DB2 OEM license issued by SAP. In this case, your SAP license agreement includes the right to install the DB2 OEM software from IBM together with the SAP system for which you have a license. You can obtain the DB2 OEM licenses from SAP.
    If situation 2:-
Version 9 of DB2 for UNIX and Windows:
    1. Go to http://service.sap.com/swcenter-3pmain
    2. Choose "DB2 for Unix and Windows"
    3. Choose "DB2 Version 9.1 software download"
    4. Choose "Installation"
    5. Choose "DB2 UDB"
    6. Download the "01200615322000000718" object (License files for DB2 9 LUW)
    7. Unpack the zip file using a suitable unpacking program
    8. Install the license as the db2<dbsid> user by using the following  commands:

                  db2licm -a db2dpf.lic
                  db2licm -a db2so.lic
    9. Use the following command to check whether you correctly installed the license:
                  db2licm -l

  • Can anybody tell me how to install the soft phone tool in Interaction Center?

    Hi,
Can anybody tell me how to install the soft phone tool in Interaction Center?
    Regards
    Raju

    Hi Yoro,
it depends on your environment - if siemens provides some kind of SAP connector for CRM, then you can even work with deskphone. The CTI server is always responsible for communicating with both terminal and CRM server.
Example: customer calls through IVR and finally reaches operator with deskphone and CRM. The CTI server will ring the hardphone and at the same time sends signal Alerting with additional data to SAP CRM. The signal is communicated via SOAP using web service call.
The agent hear ringing from the deskphone and he can see on his CRM Interaction Center caller's number, associated name and company, which options the caller selected in IVR and so on. Now based on the CTI capability, he can click Accept in CRM and the call will picked by the deskphone, or he can reject the call, again from CRM.
In case you use siemens softphone then again, the CTI talks to both softphone and SAP CRM server. CRM simply does not care, whether the CTI channels the call to a softphone or a hardphone..
Ask your vendor for SAP connector for CRM, if there is any. Different CTI vendors supplies their connector (and usually license them separately). For instance, Genesys has Gplus adapter for SAP, Cisco offers its partner's solution from Bucher+Sutter, Solidus has also some licensed connector and so on.
What I have described is a server-server scenario. In such case, the CRM does not care where is the terminal, because the CTI takes care of it.
However, I have also seen one solution based on client-client integration. In that case, CRM Interaction Center talks to a softphone directly on operator's workstation. This is not supported by SAP and must be delivered on project basis.

    Dawood.

  • How to install the Remote Desktop Services role on a Windows 2012 R2 Server

    Hello,
I am a bit confused on how to install the RDP role on a 2012 R2 server. I have a two server domain and would like to make the second member server an RDP server to host applications (Word, Excel, a medical software, etc.) where users from their windows
7 desktop will use the Remote Desktop Connection to connect to the server, create a session and do their work. When installing the role, I am prompted with two options:
1- Role-based or feature based installation
    2- Remote Desktop services installation
I see the RDP install option in both cases.
1- Which one do I use?
2- What role services do I install? (Connection broker, Gateway, Licensing, Session Host, Virtualization host and Web access). I think I need the first four only.
3- When installing software after RDP, I use the Change user /install and Change user /execute commands. What happens to the software that is already installed? Can remote
    users use those?
Any help will be very much appreciated.
    Thank You,
    Victor.

    TP,
Thank you for your response. I added the RD Licensing thru the Role-based option.
Also opened the local group policy thru gpedit.msc and added the server name and the licensing mode type to Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Remote Desktop Services -> Remote Desktop Session
    Host -> Licensing
Use the specified RD license servers = NameOfMyServer
Set the Remote Desktop licensing mode = TypeOfMyLicense (Per User in my case)
    Thank you again,
    Victor

  • Problem : Instance info corrupt in SAPMMC after installing the license

I have successfully installed the NW WAS 2004s preview edition and got the 3 month license key.
However after installing the license, when I went to SAPMMC to re-start the system, the SAP Instace information seems to be messed up.
Before installing the license, MMC was showing the SAP system as [Console Root\SAP Systems\NSP\w72c-7wpdl71 0] and now after the installation it has replaced the 7's in my systems name with #'s, so now it looks like
    [Console Root\SAP Systems\NSP\w#2c-#wpdl#1 0].
SAP Management Console is completely unusable because of this. It keeps on giving 'Host not found' errors.
Fortunately, everything else with the system seems to be working fine. At least so far !!
    - SLICENSE shows the new license.
    - SICK does not report any problems.
So far I am forced to use the command prompt to stop and start the instace and the database. This works fine and I am able to start and stop the system.
Any ideas what could have gone wrong ?
Did it not like the '-' in my system name ?
Anything wrong in windows registery ?
Did I install the license incorrectly ?
And how to fix this ?
Any help will be greatly appriciated.
    Devendra
    To add more information,
    - I did not restart the system, even once, before installing the license.
    - After installing the system I just saw SAPMMC and checked all the nodes to see the syslog etc. and they were fine.
    - I might have changed some profile parameters after installing the license.

  • How to delay the license days in XI-NW2004s?

I have successfully installed the XI-NW2004s,but only used in 30days.
I think I can adjust time back to setup day to use longer. To my disappointed, there were many j2ee service failed in Visual J2EE administrator.
How to delay the license days in J2EE service ?
Can I install a temp license in Tcode "slicense" just like Minisap developer?
    Thx !
    points will be award !
    best regard!

    Hi Raymond,
You need to make sure that the date to which you are changing should be greater then the date of installation. why don't you try this
1.Use <b>SU01</b> transaction to find the date when the user was created.
    2. Now change the system date to that particular date or one day greater.
Make sure all the instances of 2004's are down before changing the system date.
    once done restart the system.
    That should work.....
    Regards
    Gopi

  • Configuring Interactive Forms by Adobe and Installing the License

    Hellom
I must install the licenses and configure the Interactive Forms by Adobe to my customer. My questions are:
    - How can I see the license of Interactive Forms by Adobe on the MarketPlace ?
    - How must I install this license on the customer...by ABAP ?? by Java ??
    - I've already configure the Adobe Document Services. There is any additional step to do inside the system ??
    - Any other important additional to be considered working with Interactive Forms by Adobe ??

    Albert,
    1) to my knowledge, you can't see the license in Marketplace
    2) on java stack, since the ADS is a Java-Service, see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/DE/fe/e8cc48abee49f082dfbd5b45d98dd4/frameset.htm
    3) depends on what you have done so far... (see the above link for missing parts)
    4) well.... it depends what you want to do

  • How to install The Soundblaster Audigy SE in Windows 7 RC?

:How to install The Soundblaster Audigy SE in Windows 7 RC?Y Two days ago I bought a Soundblaster Audigy SE-retail soundcard. I have a dual boot PC with Windows XP-SP3 and Windows 7 RC. The installation of the soundcard?in Windows XP was easy, no problems, good sound.
But how to install in Windows 7 RC ?
I have the installation and applications CD with XP and Vista drivers and I have the driver-download from Creative.com SB24PCDRV LB 0 - 04 - 0090.
Windows 7 tells me "No device for audio output is installed". Windows automaticly?installed a driver, but that doesn't work. (code 39). The driver download from?creative does not install new drivers and when I try it manually Windows tells me "The best driver is already installed"
When I uninstall?the driver that Windows installed and try to install the downloaded?creative driver for Windows 7, the driver will not install, and Windows message is something like "?no audio device is installed on this computer"
What to do ? A computer without sound is nothing...
    Thanks,
    Arie

    >Re: How to install The Soundblaster Audigy SE in Windows 7 RC?% Meocene is 00% on the money. Dan K.'s pack is the best. I have used the pack on four different systems with AUDIGY LS and SE cards that I bought cheaply (all four on Ebay for $40). The package has worked under XP, Vista, and Windows 7 very well.
I have friends that play Left4Dead and they have been immensely pleased when playing the games in their flats with or without headphones, as compared to their old "onboard RE--t-k" sound.
The package also works well on a Gateway or HP machine when disabling onboard audio first then installing the Audigy and installing drivers and apps for the first time. Gi've up on using your old CDs, you will only run into a mountain of trouble trying to "Auto-Update" all that with the newest patches.
