How to integrate a form in HR module

Hi
I want to change the standard form  HR_INTAXF16_2006  and  create a 'z* ' form.
I would like to integrate the new form, so that that is used for generating form 16.
Pls let me know the t-code to be used for the same.
thanks
Balaji

I'm not sure the transaction used for configuring Form16 forms as I've not worked much on HR module. But as per my knowledge HR forms are maintained in OOVM.

    Hi All,
How to integarte adobe forms with webdynpro -abap(se80).
    Thanks & Regards
    Suman

    Hi suman,
First you have insert a element interactive form in the view.
In the properties of the interactive form you have properties called datasource and pdfsource.
You have to give the data which you want to display in the datasource throught binding.
These data you have to get it from the context. For pdfsource it should be xstring.
There is one more property called templatesource, when you give a name and double click. It automatically goes to SFP and you can create the form of your purpose. While creating it will ask for context. That context will be the same which you have declared in the view or component controller.

  • How to integrate Interactive Forms in R/3 Workflow

    Hi
I'm a newbie in SAP and i will have my first project with SAP and Interactive Forms.
I read a lot in this great forum about integration Adobe Forms in SAP.
But unfortunately im not sure, which Scenario could solve my problem.
    <b>My Client use NW2004s (SP10) (ABAP + JAVA Stack) and R/3 4.7</b>
I have to design some approval sheets with these features:
    - integration in an approval Workflow (runs in R/3)
    - the ability to attache other documents.
    - store Data in the Backend
    - changes in the documents should be traceable.
<u>What will be the best way to solve this problem?</u>
    - ISR-Scenario ( like HCM Processes and Forms -

is that possible in my  environment??

    - WD ABAP
    - WD JAVA
Would it be a good idea that the WF provides the data for the sheet (e.g. stored in some internal tables)?
    Thanks and regards
    Matthias

    Hi Matthias,
I think WDA/WDJ is best for your requirement.
Going for WDA or WDJ depends on your prior experience/knowledge. If you are good in Java, then you can go with WDJ,else if you are good in ABAP, then you can go with WDA.
"Would it be a good idea that the WF provides the data for the sheet (e.g. stored in some internal tables)?" --- What do you mean by this ?

  • SAP Workflow: how to integrate html forms

    Hello.
I have to built up a workflow, which starts with an ABAP report. This ABAP Report selects a number of persons and then an email is sent to these persons. A hyperlink should be in this email and the person should click at the hyperlink, which opens an html-form. In this html-form some data is filled in and then is sent to our SAP HR system where we start again an apab report.
    My questions:
    1) is this a typical process for SAP Workflow?
    2) What pre-conditions regarding our SAP HR system do we have (do we need ITS)? Where can I find an example for such a workflow with html-form?
    3) Is this state of the art? Please tell me some SAP keywords that I can continue my investigation.
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi,
Then, you should activate Workflow Extended Notification component.

  • How to integrate Flashisland for Adobe interactive forms

    Hi Experts,
Can you please help us in understanding how to integrate Flashisland with adobe interactive forms?
We need to add swf file in the interactive forms, which will be used in webdynpro abap application.
Any idea will be helpful for us.
    Thanks for the support.
    Regards
    Sathish

    Hi Sathish,
You can not add swf file in interactive form, however you can integrate you flash island with web dynpro ABAP application.
Adobe flash island and adobe interactive form are two different things and have different purposes.
You can have adobe flash island and adobe interactive form in a single WD application(even as part of the same screen), but still there will be integration on the data level not on UI level. The UI elements for both will react separately from each other and there can't be any integration of adobe flash island inside adobe form.
However you can develop a flash application using which you can view adobe interactive form similar to adobe reader and use this flash application as part of your WD ABAP application but that doesn't make any sense as without flash island we can show it in WD ABAP view.
I hope this will clear your doubt.

    Vaibhav

  • How to debug a form module (Oracle 11G Forms) through URL

How to debug a form module (Oracle 11G Forms) through URL.
My server OS is Unix. So i could not able to do the Debug Forms from the Form Developer.
It is displaying a message that "Cannot find the module". Becuase the system is trying find out the module in Unix system instead of ma local system(Windows).
I need to debug ma module through URL.
I can place the fmb and fmx in predefined form path in Server.
Please help me out to solve this issue..

This is a little unclear. If your goal is to use the Forms Builder Debugger while running your form on a Unix machine, this can be done. However, the form must first be in running order. So before trying to attach the debugger you must first be able to start it without the debugger. For example:
    http://yourServer:OHS_port_number/forms/frmservlet?form=yourFMX
Once this is properly running you can turn on debugging. If your form won't even start, then using the Debugger isn't going to help you because it is designed to troubleshoot coding problems and not configuration problems.
So, do this to use the Debugger:
    http://yourServer:OHS_port_number/forms/frmservlet?form=yourFMX&debug=yes
This will display a dialog box with some information. Do not click on OK yet as you will need this information to enter into the Forms Builder. Now, open the Forms Builder and click on Debug > Attach Debug. You will be asked for the information displayed in the dialog where you attempted to start the form. Enter it here (in the Builder) then click on ok in both places. To display the Debugger (in the Builder), click on Debug > Debug Console. Then from its toolbar click on the buttons related to what you want to monitor. Including a break point in your application code is often a more helpful way to use the debugger.
Most of this information is explained in the Forms Builder Online Help
    Forgot to mention...
To debug runtime issues, refer to the Forms Deployment Guide here (this assumes you are using 11.1.2):

  • How to compile all forms in a directoy at time?

Hi friends, thank for your replies for the previous questions.
    Now
How to compile all form modules located in a directory
at a time? usually what I know is opening form one by one
and compile it. But I want to compile all forms and create
    executable files at a time.
Is project Builder helpfule to achive this??
    thanks
    madhu

Yes, his file is useful -- it should run on Windows XP. You need to copy the above text into a file using a standard text editor, something like Notepad. To run it, you open a Cmd.exe DOS window on your pc, change directory (CD) to the folder where your forms are, and enter the command script file name.
Here are several more links to other topics in this forum asking how to do the same thing:

My suggestion would be to try converting the form to XML using <10gHome>\bin\frmf2xml.bat, and altering this XML to look like R1 XML. Simply changing the Module version might do the trick, but probably not.
To see the difference between 10gR1 and 10gR2 XML formats, take a reasonably complex R1 form and convert it to XML. Next, upgrade that same form to R2 and convert it to XML. Compare the two XML files.
Applying the knowledge gained from this comparison, modify the XML from your original R2 form. Try converting back to FMB using <10gHome>\bin\frmxml2f.bat Please share your findings with the forum!
    Hope this helps,

PS: It is assumed that you have access to both 10gR1 and R2 installations!

  • How to successfully compile form in Linux

    Hi there,
I have a form, which is called: TESTFORM.fmb
I tried to compile this form using the following command:
    export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/u0/oracle/prodora/8.0.6/lib
f60gen module=/u0/oracle/prodappl/ar/11.5.0/forms/US/TESTFORM.fmb USERID=apps/passwordAlthough fmx is successfully generated, the following error is also encountered during compile:
FRM-18108: Failed to load the following objects.
    Source Module:APPSTAND
    Source Object: STANDARD_PC_AND_VA
    Source Module:APPSTAND
    Source Object: STANDARD_TOOLBAR
    Source Module:APPSTAND
    Source Object: STANDARD_CALENDAR
I look for APPSTAND.fmb and I found it in this location: /u0/oracle/prodappl/ar/11.5.0/forms/US/
So I then tried to compile again using the following command, but the problem is still occurred:
    export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/u0/oracle/prodora/8.0.6/lib
    export forms_path=/u0/oracle/prodappl/ar/11.5.0/forms/US/
f60gen module=/u0/oracle/prodappl/ar/11.5.0/forms/US/TESTFORM.fmb USERID=apps/passwordMy question is how to successfully compile this form?
Any input would be helpful. Thank you

    Jimmy;
Are you using a WebLogic server?
If yes, you should use the Forms Compiler frmcmp.sh
    #!/bin/sh
    for file in *.fmb
    do
    frmcmp_batch.sh module=$file userid=<your connect string> compile_all=yes
    done
Tested on WebLogic and working, your paths will be different
    #!/bin/sh
    export ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/fmw/oracle_pfrd
    export FORMS_PATH=/u01/app/oracle/product/fmw/fr_inst
    export PATH=$PATH:$ORACLE_HOME/bin:$FORMS_PATH/bin
    export TERM=vt220
    export ORACLE_TERM=vt220
    export TNS_ADMIN=/u01/app/oracle/product/fmw/oracle_pfrd/network/admin
    for file in *.fmb
    do
    frmcmp_batch.sh module=$file userid=scott/tigersy@dev2 compile_all=yes
    done
