How to interpolate on an irregular grid ?

Think of radio signal measurements.
You drive around by car equipped with an spectrum analysator and a GPS mouse.
So you get the coordinates x,y,z and the strength of the signal (peak in a frequency span).
I have a LabView program for that. At the moment I get a CSV file.
Assume that you only measure your own signal nothing else.
So there is no regular grid.
So how do I get the interpolation for coordinates x,y (z depends on x,y) ?
My first thought was to build triangles by delaunay triangulation and calculate the signal strength of a coordinate x,y by interpolation of the signal strength of the three corners of the triangle.
Yes I know the signal strength can change significant on a distance of only a few meters.
But you can't measure some square kilometers by a grid of only a few meters.
What do you think of delaunay triangulation, interpolation method, VIs that can be used ?

Yes, you would use the signal strenght as z if that's the function you want to map into a regular grid.

You must need a PNG with transparent background. I just made one in iDraw and it flows great in Pages.

I just try to design a ALV GRID report but I do not kown the way of using 'hypelink'. I refer to some documents but failsed. somebody can help me and give a example including entire code.

1. Create a table where hyperlinks & corresponding handles are stored (TYpe LVC_T_HYPE)
DATA ls_hype TYPE lvc_s_hype .
data lt_hype type lvc_t_hype.
ls_hype-handle = '1' .
ls_hype-href = 'http://www.company.com/carrids/car1' .
APPEND ls_hype TO lt_hype .
2. In your list data table create additional field of type INT4 which will contain the handle of the hyper link (ex. '1' for above hyperlink)
DATA carrid_handle TYPE int4 .
3. For the field which shall contain the hyperlink, make an entry in the field catalog indicating the field name which contains handle for the hyperlink. This is done by setting the handle field name in WEB_FIELD.
ls_fieldcat-fieldname = 'CARRID'
ls_fieldcat-web_field = 'CARRID_HANDLE'.
4. While calling set_table_for_first_display, pass the hyperlink table created in step 1 to parameter 'it_hyperlink'

these pdf files are made from one or more huge books, to make learning little easier for us students... on one college subject from c.ing.
as you can see here - http://www.grad.hr/mostovi/ma1.html - there are more of them. and they are here so that we can learn from them.
they are made for visual purpose, all these difrent colors, when having lecturers in classroom on projector.
yes, i can print them as they are now, but, as i said... because of toner and it's 100x easier to learn black from white, i'd love to have them in that way...

How to rearrange single photo in grid view

This seems like a silly question, but my library was imported and one photo out of 1000 shows up at the beginning in the grid view. I'd like to move it to the correct chronological location so it fits in with all the the others.
I can't figure out how to select a single photo and reinsert it into another location in the grid or filmstrip.
What is the easiest way to complete this operation? Seems to me I should be able to select it and simply drag the image...
The help file seems to show only global methods for rearranging order. I want to manually move a few images around.

I use LR 1.2 on a mac. I can arrange/drag photos when they are in library in all photographs, quick collection.
As soon as I put them in the categories/keyword tags (in library) I can"t sort them anymore. Sort by user, drag them from center..... nothing works.
anybody can help??!!! pretty frustrating..

User order only works in Folder or Collection (including Quick Collection) Views. And only the lowest (non Parent) level unless Menu/Library/Include Photos from Subitems is unchecked.

Lightroom does not open from the dock or out of applications (directly). I only have the lightroom bar on the top of the screen. It allows me manually to select a catalog that I want to open but then I get the message "an error occured when attempting to change modules and a blank lightroom opens.
Sometimes I am able to create a new catalog but as soon as I close LR and want to open it again the next day or an hour later everything is gone/cannot open LR again.
I tried to reinstall LR. No change.
I am using Lightroom 1.3.1 on a Mac Book Pro 10.4.11
Hope somebody can help!!!

In the layout fill
is_layout-box_fieldname = 'CHECKBOX'
is_layout-box_tabname   = 'I_OUTPUT'.
The internal table that you are passing as I_OUTPUT, should have an extra field called CHECKBOX of length 1.

Hi,
Are you trying to read the data in the matrix of a system form? Then you only have to look for the matrix with the ID you can see by visualising the System Information in B1 and then directly read from the matrix cells (using columns element in matrix), the DBDataSources are not filled in until the document has been added to the database.
There are many messages in this forum talking about how to read information in matrix item, just make a search for it.

Grid format can be disaplyed using two ways,
1. Using reuse_alv_grid_display
2. using object oriented ABAP with the methos set_table_for_first_display.
For example program search in where used list for standard SAP programs.

How do you remove snap to grid in Garageband 10.0.2? I can't find it anywhere.

Basically in older versions of Garageband, there used to be a setting under Control >> Snap to Grid and you could toggle it on and off. In this new version, I found that a lot of different, basic things that I knew how to do are no longer there, or are way harder to do. Snap to grid is one of those things, and I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know how to turn off snap to grid?

Choose Edit > Snap to Grid from the "Edit" menu.
The "Snap to grid" option is not always visible. I am seeing it only, when a software instrument track is selected, the track editor window is open for that track, and a region in the track is selected.

How do I turn off fluid grid layout guides in CC?

In CS6 it was simple: just go to View > Visual Aids and uncheck "Fluid grid layout guides" In CC that option is not there. And I can't seem to find it. So how do I turn off fluid grid layout guides in CC?

AFAIK, There is no option for you to turn off just FG Layout Guides in DW CC (for now).
However, you can hide the guides with just 1 click. See screenshot below:
This button toggles FG View. Disabling it will hide the FG guides that you see on screen.

How to display Base values (AFS Grid) in the Report

Hi Friends,
We ar using AFS, in that we have Grid value like 0003A34
(8 chars: first 4 chars colour (0003), A represents Cup, 34 represents size of the Material), in that we can able to store the Base values like for International or US,
and for size 34 equivalent to 70 like wise.
In our reports we are using ALV grids, and showing the existing grid value like 0003A34, but we need to show Base value list like INTL or US etc, based on the region / area, the report should show the equivalent grid value like 0003A70 etc.
Please help me how to do this.

Dear Shankar;
I think you will be able to achieve what you try to do using grid conversion in AFS. Base Grid values can be converted to other values based on the customer, vendor or material depending on your requirement. This need to be configured in IMG and then the ID must be assigned in the Vendor or the Material Master as per the requirement.

How do I assign images to grid cells based on their random number value?

Hello everyone!
     I need a good point (or shove) in the correct direction.
Background
     I've created (with previous help from this forum) a 12 x 9 random number grid which cycles through the numbers 1 to 9 a total of twelve times each. I've then created a button which shuffles the current grid's cells each time it is clicked. I now want to use 9 images that I have imported as individual symbols into the library (I have given them each their own class titled "skin1," "skin2," ... "skin9") as cell labels or the equivalent. I have also set the images up as individual movie clips (using the .Sprite class as the extended base class but keeping the actual image class names in line with their object name, i.e. the "skin1" image is the "skin1.as" class).
Question
     How do I assign these images to the grid cells based on their respective values (ranging from 1 to 9) and have them populate the grid each time I click the "shuffle" button? So for example, in my grid the numbers 1 through 9 randomly appear 12 times each. Every time the number 4 appears in a cell, I want it to be assigned to the image "skin4" (which is just a graphic that looks like a button and has a fancy number "4" printed on it). Below is a chunk of the code I am using to draw the grid cells with:

          This is the code I am currently implementing to populate the grids with (although I
          don't want to use text labels as I want to fill each grid with an image according

     Thank you for your help with this one. Using the code below, I have successfully populated my grid cells with the desired corresponding graphics. I noticed one thing though regarding my use of the shuffle button with this particular implementation: even though the numerical values residing in each cell get shuffled, the original images remain in the grid rather than being replaced by new ones. The first code snippet below is the revised cell drawing function including your help; the second snippet shows you my simple shuffle button function (where the problem lies, I think).
Snippet #1:

     So far so good (although I question needing text labels at all if they are just going to remain invisible underneath the images, but enough about that for now). This next part is the reason that the images won't shuffle with the cell values, I think.

I tried using the _s.removeChild(image) function but that didn't work, nor would copying/pasting some of the code from snippet #1 directly into this function as it would cause another instance of the images to be placed over top of the existing ones rather than actually swapping them out. Any continued help here is greatly appreciated!
     PS Is there a quicker method for posting code into these forums without having to type it all out by hand again (i.e. copy/paste or drag/drop from my .fla or Notepad file directly into this thread)?

1)I would like to clear the alerts older than two days in grid.
We are monitoring more than 500DB's in grid.Is there any procedure to remove the alerts ?
2)How to clear or reduce the "All Targets Policy Violations" in grid.
3)How to clear or reduce the "Security Policy Violations" in grid.

Open your Grid Control Console
Go to Alerts --> Warning
Select database and press go
You will see that the Clean button appear and checkbox for each warning alert that its possible manual clean you will see the checkbox to activate
The Critical Alerts can't clean manualy.
OR
1. Make a SELECT * from MGMT_CURRENT_SEVERITY and show for the TARGET_GUID, METRIC_GUID and KEY_VALUE.
2. Connect to db user SYSMAN and execute:
exec EM_SEVERITY.delete_current_severity(TARGET_GUID,METRIC_GUID,KEY_VALUE);
for example:
exec EM_SEVERITY.delete_current_severity('0DEB8E6980695B7548CF98871084AD10','F95BA0D95585002889E1ABF92B2DA7C3','SYS');
3. Wait a few minutes.
The content of the MGMT_CURRENT_SERVERITY table is displayed as ALERTS or ADDITIONAL ALERTS in EMs main menu. If you delete the ALERTS only in the MGMT_CURRENT_SEVERITY table, the alert messages appears still in some EM submenus.
