How to know where the user exits or enhancement used in standard sap code?

I m pretty new to abap.
How can I know where the user exits or enhancement used in standard sap code?
As i have to add some functionality to the standard sap code. I m looking to search the enhancement or user exits used in this standard code wher i can add my functionality.

Hi Henry,
I don't think this is the easiest way to look at the code around a particular field on the screen. Debugging standard programs also can be very tedious, if not impossbile. So, instead of this question, I would like to find out exactly what you want to do if you know the code.
If you are in a transaction and you want to know where the code of a particular field is, the fastest way to get to it is by pressing the F1 key on the field and then press the Technical info button on the help screen. In here you will typically see the same kind of information but it is very specific to the field you selected.
PROGRAM(SCREEN) tells you which program is manipulating the main screen, in which your field is embedded. Remember your field may be included in a sub-screen and that subscreen may be the one included in the main screen.
PROGRAM(SUB SCREEN) tells you which program is directly responsible for the field on the subscreen it is included in. This is where you should find the code most appropriate for the field, but not necessarily.
PROGRAM(GUI) controls how your push buttons and the menu options in the screen behave and controlled.

In which T-code I can open this Exit
Ex: Go to some Transcation code and then give the name of the Exit ato access this Exit

the EXIT : EXIT_SAPLKEII_002 is the exit,in this SAPLKEII is the standard Program.Copy this program and go to transactio SE38 and press Enter and then go for the option Where used list and check the check box Transaction. It displays the possible Transactions that the Exit triggers

I know where the audio files are located (using GET INFO while in iTunes), and when I try to add certain audio files, some are accepted and some are not. In one case, when I opened a particular folder, the song was not listed, even tho' the song is there when using Windows Explorer. This happens with mp3 and mp4 and just wav files. Some audio are accepted, most are not. I get that codec is not installed error message, too.

You can do a where used on the functino module EXIT_SAPLFMR4_002 in SE37.
In this case, you user exit is called from a function module FMRE_FI_BELEG_CHECK. Which in my system, doesn't appear to be called directly. It could be called dynamically.

How to find out the user exit is implemented

Hi All,
Kindly let me know the process to be followed to find out the User exit is implemented in SAP system.
I have seen many senriors suggestions for some treads to check if there is any Exit is implemented in the process when the system is behaving differently rather standard.
Is it the only way with help of ABAP'er we can find out or the functional consultant also can find out through some procedure?
I tied in google for this doubt, but i could not get the relavant answer.Pleaea execuse me if this already answered.

Thank you for your immediate replies. Sorry i think i have not explained correctly my requirment.
Let me explain my requirement once again.Let us say Comapny has implemented one Exit in the project, now i want to find out what exactly the Exit was implemented.
Example: In STO process user is able to increase the qty in delivery. As per the client requriement system should not allow.
This is not possible in standard to control even after maintainig check over delivery field in 0VLP.
For this comapny has already implemented one enahnceament.
User Exit : USER EXIT_READ_DOCUMENT
Program: MV50AFZ1
like this when any one joined in the project we do not know what are all the Exits are implemented in the SAP system where we are working.
So if i want to find out if there is any Exit or enhancement implemented, what is the process to find out?

How to find out the FICO user exits that are used by user.

Go to tcode CMOD. In the project field drop down your list there. Put a Z* there and run the list. These should be all the exits that are activated. Search for the ones that pertain to FI. You can also search by development class. You need a little ABAP knowledge to search easily. You get this by going to the tcode then to status then to the program then to the attributes. There you find the development class. Ie FBAS.

User exit for field addition on standard SAP Screen

Hi,
I want to add one customer specific field on notification at header level. I have found one enhancement i.e. user exit QQMA0001, which says that this is to be used for adding the extra field on the notification header. Now my question is that
1. If I have to add the field, how user exit can help (I am aware that user exist consists of the function module, screen exit, programme and includes. Now do I need to use the screen exit for this or something else?)
2. Other question is that before going to screen exit in the above step, do in need to add the field in structure VIQMEL and the respective table QMEL or when the table QMEL is updated then the field in structure VIQMEL will get auto updated.
3. If the step 2 is only sufficient, then why is the need of step 1, I mean what is the point in considering the user exit i.e. we can simply update the QMEL data table and then this field will get autoavailable on the structure and after going to SE51, if we view the field added, then we can place it wherever we want on the screen of notification.

I am not a developer and a functional person and right now i am in very initial phase with no developer around.
I got most of the points you mentioned here
Creation of data elemnt
Append the data table
Create the new subscreen for the main programme and then assign this subscreen to the notification type in SPRO.
If i am rightly followed then my questions are
1. What is the role of user exit here?
2. Why functional module is required here?
3. SE51 transaction you mentioned is the screen painter, Is it possible to create sub screen there. If no then where the new sub screen will be created i.e. T code in ABAP.
And the fianl question is that -
I f i succeed in attaching the subscreen to the notification type and my sub screen is only for one field then is it possible for me to set it up as a header data and place it anywhere below the notification user status field because i dont want to display it as subscreen bu header level information.

How to find where the user logged in to SAP

Dear All,
Our client is using SAP 8.8. He is using Citrix. When he logged in, it says user already login. I login to SAP by manager and I saw his user is gray out. That means this user logged in from some where.
Their IT person said he has no session on Citrix server and he is the only user use that login (nobody share the ID with him). I checked SQL activity monitor, it cannot tell which use login from where. It just say SQL user (they all use the same SQL user). Any idea? They don't want to restart their SQL service. i have checked table MODSAP but i think its giving list of all user exits without checking its active/inactive.

1. Goto table MODATTR with status = 'A' (active). You will have list all active projects.
2. Goto table MODACT with NAME = MODATTR-NAME (for each record from MODATTR). You will have all enhancements for particular project.
3. Goto table MODSAP with NAME = MODACT-MEMBER. You will have all exits for project.

Well, you can't know if refresh was pressed vs. hitting enter in the location bar to trigger a refresh. There isn't any simple way to know, though. Some kind of page hit counter or something, maybe.

Where used list for MEMORY ID's (how to know where the memory id is importd

In one of my programmes, I am seeing that, developer has used some memory ID's.
EXPORT l_cust_e FROM l_cust TO MEMORY ID 'CUSTUPDATE'.
Now, I want to know where this memory id is being imported, since I want to debug the behavior of this memory ID.
Could you please help me out?

In debugging follow the below steps to check if the memory id is indeed holding any values or not
GO TO >>ABAP MEMORY/SAP MEMORY.Here you will get to see the MEMROY iD that is used in the program.Double click on it to see the hexadecimal values along with the content that got imported or exported.
If the program is running across multiple sessions then MEMORY ID will not hold the values.
