How to launch an App with Root privileges - without enabling "root" user ac

Is there a reliable way to launch an Application so that it can run with "root" privileges, but without enabling the OSX root account and logging in to that account?
There is an old (and, presumably, obsolete) application called "Pseudo" which used to facilitate this, but I doubt it would be safe or reliable under OSX 10.5.
So, does anyone have any suggestions?

For a more permanent method, run the following command on the same file:
sudo chmod u+s
if the item is owned by root. This may be undone by the repair permissions command.

How to debug web app with weblogic?

I wrote a web app that includes jsp files and some javabeans, then I put the jsp files to directory
mydomain\applications\DefaultWebApp
then I complied javabeans and put those classes to
mydomain\applications\DefaultWebApp\WEB-INF\classes
Then I start the weblogic,it runs very well.
I modified some javabean, complie them and put classes override the old classes,
but the web app can not find the new classes.
Any one know How to debug web app(with javabeans) in weblogic?

I use wls6.1; I think the process may be very similar to this in wls8.x. In wls6.1 (sp5), this is done via the -
Dweblogic.ProductionModeEnabled=False or
Dweblogic.ProductionModeEnabled=True
in the startup cmd/sh script. Out of the box, wls6.1 is set to Dweblogic.ProductionModeEnabled=False which automatically enables hot deploys.

Yo Chris. I've been following your answers to different threads and quite frankly, you're very keen in answering everybody regarding this stupidity that Apple has brought upon its customers. Kudos to you. But the problem is, most of the time, in some devices, your solution doesn't work because the NONE option is not there. The same goes for me.
Meanwhile, I found a temporary workaround for the iPhone 4s, iPad 2 and iPod Touch 4th Gen.
Register a free Apple ID from the iCloud Settings.
Go to Settings>iCloud>Account>Tap Payment Information on the Storage Plan Category.
Fill in the other boxes and choose "None" on Credit Card Information.
That's it! Hope I helped those who still couldn't find the "None" Option.
Must be running IOS 5.0.1 though, else there would be no iCloud.

The iPhone can be synced to one and only one computer at a time. Before you "marry" it to your new computer, be sure your new computer contains all the old computer's information. When you sync the iPhone to a new computer, it will be erased first. Then, whatever is on your iTunes Library will be synced to the iPhone.

I passed in username and password of account "A" to method "LaunchAppWithElevatedPrivilege", and also the application i want to launch, e.g. "C:\windows\regedit.exe", but when i run the service program, i found it do launch
"regedit.exe" with elevated account "A", but the content of regedit.exe is pure back. screenshot as below:

You code is not dealing with the DACL access to Winsta0\Default. Only the LocalSystem account will have full access and the interactively logged on user which is why regedit is not displaying properly. You'll need to grant access to your user.
You also need to deal with UAC since that code is going to give you a non-elevated token via LogonUser(). You need to get the full token via a call to GetTokenInformation() + TokenLinkedToken.

Hi, people. Total beginner here.
How can I create an application that auto-generates instantly downloadable PDF files with contents based on whatever the user chooses to click on or type on the front-end interface. I saw such Flash app before on a Facebook Page so I kinda believe it's possible.

you can try using an actionscript class like purePDF (http://www.sephiroth.it/weblog/archives/2010/02/purepdf_a_complete_actionscript_pdf_l.php) or use server-side code like fpdf (www.fpdf.org).

And another noob question, are there any differences between "AIR Android" and "Adobe AIR 2" in publish settings when I'm going to create an android app with up-to-date AIR version? I was very confused by the scenario that as long as I upgraded to AIR2.6 SDK, "AIR Android" remains 2.5 though "Adobe AIR2" will surely be 2.6?

To create an APK package, use the ADT package command, setting the target type to apk for release builds, apk-debug for debug builds, or apk-emulator for release-mode builds for running on an emulator.

As indicated by ckuan, as long as all devices are using the same Apple ID for store purchases then you will be able to share everything you purchase from iTunes. Just make sure you log-in to the iTunes Store on each device using the same Apple ID.
