How to loop and read repeating table data of infoPath form in Visual studio workflow.
Hi,
I am trying to read info Path form repeating table data in Visual studio workflow.
could anyone elaborate me in brief how to loop through repeating table and read all rows value one by one in workflow.
any help would be more then welcome.
Thanks...
Hi Rohan,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to create a Visual Studio workflow to get data from info path repeating table.
I suggest you can submit Repeating Table to a SharePoint List and then you can create a .NET workflow to read data from the SharePoint List.
Here are some detailed articles for your reference:

How do I use infopath 2013 with visual studio 2013 to modify forms with code?
Dear all,
I am using sharepoint online and infopath 2013, I wonder how do I edit infopath 2013 forms with visual studio? When I try to edit form code it says I need visual studio 2012 and some other tools, I installed them and visual studio 2013, I wonder how
do I get rid of the message and start coding? Can someone provide a detailed procedure of doing so? I am having trouble with creating multiple items with single infopath form with repeating table on sharepoint online. Thanks.

RodgerHi Everyone:

Thanks for answering
RodgerWith Java you cannot write to a specific memory location. Java does not have pointers. If you really want to do it, you need to use JNI, i.e write the required functions in C (or other languages that support pointers) and make those functions available to Java (through JNI). This approach is not portable. You can have a look at http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/native1.1/index.html

Problem with ArrayLists and writing and reading from a .dat file (I think)
I'm brand new to this forum, but I'm sure hoping someone can help me with a problem I'm having with ArrayLists. This program was originally created with an array of objects that were displayed on a GUI with jtextFields, then cycling thru them via jButtons: First, Next, Previous, Last. Now I need to add the ability to modify, delete and add records. Both iterations of this program needed to write to and read from a .dat file.
It worked just like it was suppose to when I used just the array, but now I need to use a "dynamic array" that will grow or shrink as needed: i.e. an ArrayList.
When I aded the ArrayList I had the ArrayList use toArray() to fill my original array so I could continue to use all the methods I'd created for using with my array. Now I'm getting a nullPointerException every time I try to run my program, which means somewhere I'm NOT filling my array ???? But, I'm writing just fine to my .dat file, which is confusing me to no end!
It's a long program, and I apologize for the length, but here it is. There are also 2 class files, a parent and 1 child below Inventory6. This was written in NetBeans IDE 5.5.1.
Thank you in advance for any help anyone can give me!

double pricBalusC -- The line that gives me my NullPointerException is when I call the "DisplayProduct()" method. Its a dumb question, but with NetBeans how do I find out which reference could be null? I'm not very familiar with how NetBeans works with finding out how to debug. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.The IDE is com-plete-ly irrelevant. It's all about the source code.
Do you understand anyway when and why a NullPointerException is been thrown? It is a subclass of RuntimeException and those kind of exceptions are very trival and generally indicate an design/logic/thinking fault in your code.
SomeObject someObject = null; // The someObject reference is null.
someObject.doSomething(); // Invoking a reference which is null would throw NPE. -

File_IO.vi 82 KBWell my acquisition code runs perfect. The problem is reading it. I can't seem to read my data no matter what I do. My data gets saved as a string using the array to string vi but I've read that the string to array vi (which I need to convert back to array to read my data) does not work on the pda. I'm using version 8.0. So I was trying to modify the program posted in this discussion so that it would save data from my DAQ. I did that but I still can't read the data after its saved. I really don't know what else to do. All I need to do is read the data on the pda itself. I can't understand why I'm having such a hard time doing that. I found a possible solution on another discussion that talks about parsing the strings because of the bug in the "string to array" vi. However, that lead me to another problem because for some reason, the array indicators or graphs don't function on the pda. When i build the program to the pda or emulator, the array indicators are faded out on the front panel as if the function is not valid. Does this kind of help give a better picture of what I'm trying to do. Simply read data back. Thanks.

Hello All...........,
I have done some code for applet and servlet communication in which i writes "String " as an object and gets reply from servlet as a string as follows:
// send data to the servlet
String input="hello there.....";
URLConnection con = getServletConnection();
OutputStream outstream = con.getOutputStream();
ObjectOutputStream oos = new ObjectOutputStream(outstream);
oos.writeObject(input);
oos.flush();
oos.close();
// receive result from servlet
InputStream instr = con.getInputStream();
ObjectInputStream inputFromServlet = new ObjectInputStream(instr);
String result =(String) inputFromServlet.readObject();
outputField.setText(result);
//outputField.setText("good morning");
inputFromServlet.close();
instr.close();This code is same at servlet end.
But now i want to pass an int array.How to pass int[] as an object.

Hello,
How to find and remove obsolete table entries from below tables in EWM System.
/SAPAPO/MATKEY
/SAPAPO/MATMAP
/SAPAPO/MARM
/SAPAPO/MATLOC
/SAPAPO/MATMOD
/SAPAPO/MATRQ
/SAPAPO/MATLOTSZ
Thank you,
PravinPravin,
First, tell me how you determine that these entries are 'obsolete'.
Removing master data from SCM can usually be done using transaction WUF; however, you have to ensure that it is not re-sent to the SCM system, or you are just wasting your time.

This great blog entry titled
SQL Server Data Tools - Business Intelligence for Visual Studio 2013 (SSDT BI), link below, highlights the lack of support for SSIS projects using SQL Server 2012, VS 2013 and SSDT BI for VS 2013. I see there is a new version
on SSDT BI for VS 2013 (12.0.2430.0, File Name: SSDTBI_x86_ENU.exe, Date Published: 10/27/2014) link below.
Does this version support SSIS projects using SQL Server 2012 using VS 2013 and SSDT BI for VS 2013?

According to the picture, it seems that we can use SSIS 2012 support is not included in SSDT-BI for VS 2013. And based on the previous versions, SSIS always different from SSRS, SSAS.
SSDT-BI for Visual Studio 2012 supports versions of SQL Server as follows:
SSAS project can target SQL 2012 or lower
SSRS project can target SQL 2012 or lower
SSIS project can target only SQL 2012

Since I have no environment to test this at this moment,
I recommend you that submit the feedback at

Pass data between InfoPath forms in SharePoint
Hello!
Maybe someone has ideas about the next issue: how to make pass data between InfoPath forms in SharePoint, like it is shown in a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nGl-Se2cOQ
I've read similar topics, but still can't find solution.
Thank you.When you go to modify the submit connection, you can specify whether or not to overwrite, as well as a default title value. If you use the now() function in the title, it should never have the same name.

Error installing SQL Server Data Tools - Business Intelligence for Visual Studio 2013
Hi
I am trying to install SQL Server Data Tools - Business Intelligence for Visual Studio 2013 and am getting the following error
This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.
I am running
Windows 8.1 x64
SQL Server 2014 Developer Edition x64
Visual Studio 2013 Professional
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Biztalk DeveloperCould you please check if Windows Installer service is running and is in automatic startup mode.
The other thing is, if you’re running an x64-based SQL instance (64-bit), make sure to select “New Instance” on the Installation Type page, and NOT “Add features to an existing instance”.

dileep.vi 93 KBThe easiest way to perform a certain action (such as file I/O) based on a certain condition (such as whether a value has passed a certain threshold) is to use a comparison VI in combination with a case structure. Then you can specify that if your rms, standard deviation and variance are above a threshold then perform a certain action.
Also consider using shift registers to keep track of data from the last loop. If I understand you correctly, you want to start logging data when an upper threshold has been passed. Then you want to continue logging data until a lower threshold is passed. I have attached a non-functional but explanatory VI that will help explain how to implement logic to that effect. It also demonstrates that you can indeed write and read from the same file in a loop. The best way to do this is to open the file before the loop, do all the necessary writing and reading in the loop, and then close the file after the loop.
Hope this helps!

As per requirement, the main focus is on Changes to EKKN and EKPO tables and I have to get the latest changes.
If you observe in above it_cdpos internal table data, it has two records,
EINKBELEG 4500057161 0003178904 EKKN NETWR 500.00 400.00
EINKBELEG 4500057161 0003178904 EKPO NETWR 1000.00 800.00

EINKBELEG 4500057161 0003273001 EKPO NETWR 2000.00 1000.00
Now I have read only the latest changenr data. Say 0003273001 , in this case.
My question is how do I know, the latest changenr has EKKN table changes, if you look at it_cdpos data above, the latest one is 0003273002, which doesnt have EKKN changes.
Kindly let me know how to read latest EKKN or EKPO data from IT_CDPOS table.
Thanks in advance,
Rgs,
PriyaHi Priya ,
I guess your requirement is to find the latest change number ,that has got change in both ekkn and ekkpo .
1- Sort it_cdhdr descending .
Loop at it_chdr into w_cdhdr
read table it_cdpos into w_cdpos with key changenr = w_cdhdr Tabname = ekkn .
if sy-subrc=0 .
read table it_cdpos into w_cdpos with key changenr = w_cdhdr Tabname = ekkpo .
if sy-subrc=0 .
"use convenient way to return change number (using varaiable)"
exit .
endif .
endif.
endloop .
By this way change number send will be the latest having both ekkn and ekkpo . If what i assumed is wrong ,then sorry for that .
