Hello foristas, I can leave a cell of a matrix in mode readonly.
to the moment to make click it doesn't allow it to me.
will I have to draw the matrix cell for cell? and to pass him the value

Hi Shanthi,
If you want to make some rows editable and some as read-only, then the best thing to do is use an iterator. It is basically a class that implements interface IF_HTMLB_TABLEVIEW_ITERATOR and allows you to change properties of each cell of your table. You can do the following:
1. Create an iterator class that implements this interface.
2. Code method RENDER_CELL_START( ) to set all elements of a given row as read-only or editable as required.
3. Leave other two methods empty but do activate them.
4. Declare a public reference in your view implementation class of same type as this iterator class.
5. Pass this iterator class to 'iterator' attribute of your <chtmlb:configTable> in view htm.
In the iterator class, you also need to access your table node to decide which rows to make editable and which row to make readonly. To do this, you can declare an attribute in this class of type CL_BSP_WD_CONTEXT_NODE_TV and instantiate it from the CONSTRUCTOR. And you can instantiate this iterator class from DO_VIEW_INIT_ON_ACTIVATION( ) of your view controller.

I tried making the wa_fieldcat-edit = 'X' But in vain.
Also i made the layout fields wa_layout-edit = 'X' and wa_layout-edit_mode = 'X'.
But still the alv tree field appears as display.
As you have mentioned in the post as answered, So please guide me to make the field editable.
I am using oops method.

You can make fields as mandatory fields using data changed event.
validate the entered or blank entries of a column in data changed event and call method 'add_protocol_entry' to raise errors.

You could create a sub class of DefaultTableModel, you pass the column number to the constructor or you add a method like setColumnEditable(0, false); to set column 0 non-editable.
You overwrite the method isCellEditable so it will return false when the column number that is passed to the method is 0 (if you want to have column 0 non-editable).

You can remove keyListener and Mouse Listener whenever You want to edit
then add it later.

How to make a cell/column read only

HI All,
Is there any way to make a specific cell read only with in a specific data form?
Similarly is there any way to make whole column read only inside a specific data form?
I don't want to make changes in my dimension member (e.g Dynamic Calc), i want to make these changes at data form level because, these cell/column are read only at one form but on some other data form they are editable/enterable

If you want to make a column read only then have a look at asymettric columns in the planning admin doc, if you use them then you can make one of the columns read only.
If you want a make one cell read only then one method could be to use javascript, you could add an extra member which is dynamic calc and point to the original member with a formula but it doesn't sound like you want to do that.

How to make field 'profit center' as non-mandatory in Transaction F-28?

Transaction F-28 shows Profit Center field as mandatory. How to make it optional; i have already checked it in field status groups-its suppressed over there?
Field status groups are suppressed. I have also checked posting keys and posting keys assigned to the relevant Bank G/L Account.
Document splitting is inactive on my company code.
Payments can be processed through transaction code: F-26 (Incoming Payment: fast entry) without Profit Center requirement.
But at F-28 (Incoming payment), profit center is mandatory.
Any Help in this regard will be appreciated.

I have Un-checked profit center accounting at transaction OKKP, but no effect.
why can i post incoming payment through F-26 but not F-28.
Also Document type is DZ in both Transactions. its only in F-28 that it askes for Profit Center
