How to make a Combination as Constant ?

Hi guys,
I need some help to make a combination of my 'BEx Selection' to be <b>Constant</b>
On my 'Row Structure', I have one Characteristic called 'Securities Trading Value'. Here, I have restricted to 4 values say A, B, C and D.
On my 'Column Structure', I have a combination of 'BEx Selections' like Audit 2005, Current Month, Previous Month, Variance and YTD Budget
What I need to make constant is only the value with combination of Securities Trading Value = 'D' and YTD Budget='1004' .Hence at <b>all time</b>, the intersection of this 2 'selections' should be equal to 1004
The other combination values, should be key-ed in as usual via BW-BPS.
Please assist guys.

Not really sure if I understand your problem correctly, as
in the row structure you have restricted 'Securities Trading Value' to 4 values say A, B, C, D and you want to restrict another constant based on value D.
Have you tried using RKF to solve your problem.

Like the title says, I would really love to have an effect I could just drag from the effects menu onto my footage (mostly text titles) so they could fade in for a second, zoom in slightly while they're on screen, and then fade out for the clip's last second.
That would make my workflow a LOT faster than fiddling with keyframes for the zoom and always grabbing the cross dissolve at the start and end of the text for a few projects I have. It doesn't sound like much, but when you have moving fading text a couple dozen times in each project and it takes the bulk of your time on the project, the repetition reminds me there has to be a better way.
That's what a computer is supposed to do, right, take care of simple repetitive tasks? So how can I get this set up as a reusable effect?

I will +1 Pixelan's products. They are great, simple, and have about the best support that I know of. When you explore, say Pixelan's SpiceMaster, dig deeply. Things appear rather mundane, on the surface, but there is so very much power lurking, just below the surface. I could almost imagine a 1000 page manual to cover every possible aspect of that program... Every time that I use it, I learn something new, and wonderful.

Asuume that you Cube Structures like below..
Cube -1 : Clime No, Cliime Name, Location, Amount1, Amount2.
Cube -2 : Clime No, Plant, Material, Location, Amount3, Amount4.
In your Multiprovider you need to select the Charecteristics "Clime No" , and "Location" ,becasue it is common in both Cubes
and In Keyfigure : You can select all or only one or only two or one from Cube -1 and other from Cube - 2 it doesn't matter.
In this case it will disply in single line, but in your case I hope the charecteristics which you are selected in Multiprovider in Identification is wrong, if you don't select common Charecteristics, you won't get the report in single line.

How to make components' size constant?

I have a newbie question for you. How to make the size of components (button, combobox, etc...) constant? I mean they keep the same size as the users change window's size.

You need to use a layout manager that respects the minimum and maximum size of the components and set the minimum and maximum sizes to be the size that you want the component to be. FlowLayout respects minimum and maximum, and so does BoxLayout. BorderLayout and GridLayout don't respect the min or max sizes. You can usually get what you want with a combination of layout managers. If you gave me a better idea of how you want to layout your components, and what you want the resizing behavior to be, then I could give you some more specific recommendations about the layouts you should use.
Try making some ascii drawings.

How to make the values of a combination graph (bar and line) visible always

The data with respect to bar and graph were only visible when i keep the mouse pointer on it.

How to make a function take a specific group of constants

I know i asked this before, maybe a year ago, but I totally forgot how to do it, and I haven't been programming much lately. But I was wondering if somebody can tell me how to make a certain function take specific constants. For example there are java functions, of which I can not remember that will only take certain values. So the function might look like:

Thanks very much for your help, but I'm still overlooking something. I double checked to make sure that I did not have a hidden .txt file extention. I then decided to abandon the lock on preferences idea until I get it working. I converted my mozilla.cfg file back to plain text. I made sure I do not have an extra blank line at the end of each file. The syntax looks good, as far as I can tell. I'll copy and paste what I have so far. How to make fields editable in an custom enhancement

My requirement is to perform some custom validations against a field FKONT(BSEG) at the line item level of FB60 and display appropriate message and make the incorrect field editable.
I have implemented an implicit enhancement point in include MF05AFGENJ.
The error messages are coming but I am unable to make the GL account, cost center and profit center fields editable.
Please let me know how to make the above fields editable after displaying the error message.

How to make a clipping mask in this particular case?

Okay, Just to begin I know how to make a clipping mask, but for the case that I'm going to present right now I just can't figure out what mistake I am doing (if any). However I am a beginner.

In the link to above tutorial on how to make a medieval scrol I'm stuck at step 25 and would be glad to anyone who helped.
As said in step 25 that expand the appearance of the scroll and select the two then clip the mask. In th above picture I have just selected the scroll to show how it looks.
Now as you can see in the image below I have expanded the appearance of the paper scroll. Then I selected the paper scrol and the yellowish green grunge background placed below it. And the moment I hit Ctrl+7 (in windows) or Command+7 (in Mac) to make a clipping mask the error that showed up has been highlighted.
One more thing, I have clipped masks before too in the same tutorial given above but I don't know what has gone wrong for me in this step.

Why would you want a clipping mask? I don’t see a reason for it.
However, for what you want I would use the Pathfinder panel to combine all the paths into one shape. First use the ungroup and release compound commands a few times each, to make sure you have nothing grouped. Then press the top left button in the Pathfinder p[panel. This should produce one closed path that just surrounds the scroll.

How to make the text in sub-division

Hi,
I am usign text module in my adobe forms.
Text in text module contains sub-divisions as a), b) and c). Each sub-division are in a separate line.
While in pdf, all the sub-division combines and comes a single paragraph.
What would be the problem for this issue? Any Idea?
May I know how to make the text in sub-division as in text module?

Hello, experiment with Object - Field tab. Do you have your text field with "allow multiple lines" checked? I guess so. And what about the field format? Plain text or Rich text? Please try:)) Regards, Otto

Merge to HDR Pro - how to make it work?

The 'Automate -> Merge to HDR' feature worked fine during the first few weeks of my Ps CS5 trial but now doesn't work. Photoshop gets through the Merge to HDR Pro dialog but throws the attached error when returning to Ps.
If Merge to HDR Pro is chosen on DNG images from Lightroom 2.7 or Bridge CS5, Photoshop again gets through the Merge to HDR Pro dialog but when creating the HDR image and returning to Ps seems to throw it away with no resulting error. Photoshop just stares blankly with no image open.
I experienced the same error with CS4 and was excited when the Merge to HDR Pro feature on my CS5 trial worked fine, yet with 5 days left in the trial the HDR feature now refuses to cooperate. It previously was working OK from the Automate menu, from Lr 2.7, and from Bridge. What exactly I did to upset Photohop is a mystery.
I've tried resetting preferences and removing all plugins and extenstions to no avail. Any ideas on how to make Merge to HDR Pro functional?

There has been a long and continuous thread regarding CS5 having problems when one tries to save images that have been combined in Merge to HDR Pro. I have exactly the same problem. I have been shooting 3 images bracketed -1, 0, +1 or -2, 0, +2. When I select 3 images in Bridge. Go to Tools>Ph otoshop>Merge to HDR Pro the computer does its work and produces an image of a combination of the 3. I can see the image, and in the Layers Panel I see 3 Layers plus one Layer that is entitled Merge to HDR Pro(layer is devoid of image. When I try to Save As Photoshop freezes up. I have 11 Screenshots to illustrate. Also Select 3 in BridgeI have tried many different sets of images. How to make case struture be finished

I have program and one part of it works for feedback. When pressure riches some critical value it opens valve(automatic mode). As a result pressure drops back. It can work as well in constant mode: opens valve periodically for some period of time. It works perfect in periodical mode, but when I use automatic mode it works just partially: when the valve openes it reduces the pressure and condition for beginning of case structure changes. If pressure becomes lower and again higher then critical it opens valve again but I want it to be opened in same manner as in periodical mode(When the pressure reaches critical it should open valve for fixed period of time and repeat this if necessary only after some minimum fixed time).
So the question is how to make the automatic mode work.
I have put a gif image of part of VI that does this job and full VI as well.

I know that is not simple to read this vi, too much stuff in it.
For this reason I have put .gif image of vi part I am intereasted in and I forgot to mention that this part of is moved in a right upper corner of vibrafilter.vi.
In this vi everything works already and i just need this issue (mentioned in previous post) to be fixed. It is quite simple: I have signal from pressure transducer and depending on my system behaviour I can use either automated valve opening or just periodical opening to stabilyze the pressure. Valve opens for some fixed period of time and next time it opens only after some time gap. Periodical valve opening works perfect.
For automated valve opening I am using pressure transducer signal which is compared with some constant value. But it does not work properly it opens valve just for a fraction of time and closes again and then can opens again if the pressure is again gets high. I would like to trigger "periodical valve opening" for one cycle, and repeat it only if it is necessary(pressure higher than some consant).
Hope it hepls to understand my problem.

Use T.Code GGB0 - Validation maintenance - Change Validation overview.
Choose Financial Accounting in Application area. Select Line Item and click Validation create icon.
Give a Validation ID BP and text Business Place Mandatory and save.
Click Step icon - Step 01 - now the prerequisites; check and message will come in margin panel.
Give text for the step 01. Click Prerequisites. You can see the Table Fields Structure BKPF, BSEG, and SYST.
If you double click on this you view individual fields relating to these master tables.
Your prerequisite may be like this :
Company Code is = XYZ ; T.Code = MIRO & F-43; Posting key = 31 ( Credit Vendor)
Double click BKPF > double click BKPF-BUKRS> click "=" > click constant > a pop up box will open
here fill up your company Code XYZ. This will automatically come in the top box. Click "AND". Now there is a back arrow
button in the table field panel and come back to the original display of master tables. Here double click SYST
Click SYST-TCODE > click "=" > click Constant > in the pop up box enter tcode MIRO. If you want to add F-43,
you have to click "AND" after this and repeate SYST-TCODE = F-43. Now click back arrow and double click BSEG and
click BSEG-BSCHL > Click "=" > Click Constant > in the popup window enter 31 and save the prerequisites.
(For the above requisites, the system will check if Business Place is 1000 is filled up during transaction and if not it has to
give a error message.)
Now Click Check in the right margin below prerequisites menu. Again the table list will be seen with BKPF, BSEG and SYST
Double click BSEG > click BSEG-BUPLA > Click "=" > Click constant and in the pop up box fill the business place 1000 and save
the check menu.
In the right margin now double click message. Here you can create a message text of your own "Business Place mandatory"
Save the Message and come back and finally save the Validation so created.
Now use T.Code OB28 and enter your Company Code > give call point 2 > and Activation level 1 and save the entries.
Now you can check for the transaction in MIRO where without filling the Business Place field you cannot save the entries.

How to make video screensaver for iPad?

Dear all,
does any one know how to make a video screensaver for iPad? We plan to use iPad's (with iOs7) in our retail shops and we want them to role video screensavers (while iPad is locked). I know that Apple Demo has it.
And did I miss something but in previous iOs versions there was possibility to make photo slide show when iPad is locked and now in iOs7 it is not possible? Or is there a work around?

The slide show on the lock screen feature has been removed from iOS. However, there are apps that will let you create slide shows. There are probably ones that will loop videos as well. You should be able to combine one of these with the Guided Access feature (which restricts the iPad to one app) to do what you want. Search the App Store for slide show apps. Review the information in the manual for Guided Access.
