How to do make a download in portlet. Standart methods don't work becouse Portal inserts it's headers first the file gets to a user.

well i want to make this gui using awt
threre are three fields name,address,salary
i want these three fields data in the textfield array
like this
here name,addres and salary are labels.
and name has a textfield array
address has a textfield array
salary has a textfield array
and these textfield should come as shown below
name textfield should have indiual coloumn,same for address,and salary

please help in layout i have the code and no of textfields to come on screen according to lines in textfile.

should i take three panels and add them in east,centre and west.

i want to make a GUI application for storing and retrieving image data, can i build this application using delphi?
i try using borland delphi 7, but delphi doesnt know object type ORDImage and ORDImageSignature. do u have any reference about building GUI application??
I want my application can do inserting image into database, searching image by matching it's signature, make image signature for query image, displaying image, etc.
Or if i can't make this application using delphi, maybe u can give me another application developer beside Delphi.
Please help Mr Lawrence, i'm stuck (T_T)

I am not too familiar with Delphi.
If it does Object-Relational types, that could work.
Can it interface with PL/SQL procedures? If so, that would be the way to go.
That is what I have done with .NET applications.

in visual cafe there is a table icon on the swing tab. you should be able to just drag and drop it on your interface that you are creating. once on the gui you can set the properties for the table by right clicking with the mouse and choosing 'properties'. hope this helps.

How to make an standalone java application that uses mysql driver

Hi,
I have an application that makes connection to a mysql database, on my computer, I set on classpath the driver address, so everithing works fine.
The problem is that I want to execute my application from other computers, where the classpath does not have the drivers.
So my question is how can I package the driver? so, everybody can run my application from a Jar, for example.

Nobody answered me, but I post the solution I found, that maybe can help somebody else with this problem:
I packed all my application sources (.class) and the drivers sources (.jar) with the tool: FAT JAR. It is an Eclipse plug-in. And now I can run mi application from the resulting Jar in other machines without installing the conector.

How to make table in java?

I 'm trying to add some GUI interface, and now i need to insert three table into my JFrame, I'm not sure how to do it, should I create a JPanel first, and add the JTable into it, or just do it directly.
the second question is still about changing the frame, it something like event handling, how to change two windows on the screen when I click a button, I mean, the current wondows should close, and a new one can come out, I know dispose(), and hide()method already, but these two method can't clear the previous windows completely, so the new one come out, but the previous one still there, so, any good way to do it?

It depends what you are doing! You can add Panel or any container.
e.g.
JTable table = new JTable (4,4);
Container c = getContentPane();
c.add( table, BorderLayout.CENTER);

It's possible. Just create a second target of the appropriate type and then change the "Base SDK" build setting. Then make sure to add all the necessary files. If you want to build both at the same time, create an aggregate target. So my mean you have to maintain two targets one for iPhone / iPad and Mac also....... May be it helpful to you......

How to make changes to Java for Lion

Forgive me, I am not experienced with Java Applets or the website I am mentioning in this post. I am asking for another person and have only been able to run tests and theories this evening.
It seems that the most recent Java upgrade has caused some issues with runescape.com Several Mac users at the site are reporting the same issue. When attempting to log into runescape an applet requests permission to access the computer. Actually, the warning window pops open and closed so quickly I have not been able to capture the text in it. Next, a Java Applet opens in the Dock and another warning/certificate window opens where the user can choose to Deny or Accept the certificte. Prior to the update the applet was handled within Safari. Apparently there were no additional steps to logging in. I recognize that Lion does not provide a Java runtime by default so I am wondering if changing that setting would enable runtime to do its thing without having to go through several approvals. The Java Applet runs anywhere from 28% to 100% (and sometimes more—I don't undestand that) of the CPU.
Alas, this is still not the main issue at play. Apparently the applet causes the application/website to respond v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y Is there a way to achieve the same speeds that were available prior to the update? Ideas that I have been floating have been to downgrade from the present Lion/Java combination to Snow Leopard and the penultimate version of Java (next question: where can update 5 be downloaded). I have tried to install previous versions of Java but none are available for the Lion OS. Another option is to deny the applet and the user is taken to an alternate login page. The page loads the applet in Safari but there are severe limitations to the game (reported to me—I have no basis to compare). So what the user gets in speed is limited by the fact that they can only play in "one world".
In summary, my questions are this:
Does someone have a workaround for the Java Applet slowdown for this game, Runescape?
Is there a downgrade option available for Java in Lion? (my searching has not found one)
Is there a way to change the default runtime setting? (I have read at least one post where the user tried to edit settings in Java Preferences and they did not stick but they might not have restarted their browser)

ITS i dont have an idea but from portal we can do CTRL+RIGHT CLICK AND WE CAN HIDE THE FIELD.
Try the same in ITS in the iview out put.
Thre are some tables where we can hide some fields for old ESS/MSS packages.
Try that.
If we are using portal we can go for NWDI ALSO.
