How to make Concurrent program parameter should not dependent on previous parameter if it is blank else it should be dependent.

Hi,
Lets say, we have three parameters A, B and C. B is dependent on A, C is dependent on A and B. If A value is entered, then we can list only the values of B which are related to A. If User is not entered A value then how can we list all values available in B? In the sameway for C also ( If A and B values not entered then it should allow to select a value from all available values in C)?
I don't want to put default "ALL" value and then use this in other value sets to get all values. Is there any other way using some dummy parameters? I searched in threads but couldn't find relevant.

proper array?Each object will have its own copy of all non-static members including variables. So you just avoid declaring the dynamic array (ArrayList) static. If you do that each object will have it's own dynamic array. If you do declare it static all objects will share the same dynamic array.

Another idea with less programming - take advantage of the "free" array that comes with a Chart - i.e. the History Data.
1) Wire your DMM data to a Chart. (You can set the chart to invisible if you don't plan on using it in the GUI).
2) Set the Chart History Length to 200 (right click on the chart, click on Chart History Length...)
3) On the block diagram, use the History Data Property Node, wire it to Mean.vi, and you're done.
Easiest running average ever.

lets assume there are 2 buttons, first button to submit concurrent program and second button to view concurrent program output/log.
Actually im able to submit concurrent program from oracle custom form(6i) in ebusiness(11.5.0.2) i.e first button (WHEN-BUTTON_PRESSED buitin).
Rather user navigating to VIEW-> REQUEST, i would like to give option to user to view concurrent program output/log when user clicks on second button (WHEN-BUTTON_PRESSED buitin)
How can i achive this?

I have solution for application level . it is working fine

1. You want to store data case insensitive: do an 'insert...

This will put your data in upper case into the tables.
2. Your data will be mixed-case and you want to select them case
insensitive:
create 'function based indexes' on every column you want to use in
your where-clauses.
Then 'select ... where <column_name> = 'ABCD'.

What version of Oracle? Oracle 10g has a capability that can toggle this feature on and off at the session level. Prior versions do not.
For prior versions you usually have to make use of the upper and/or lower functions in your queries. Sometimes a function based index, FBI, is used to handle this.

I have a concurrent program which has two non-mandatory parameters.
The requirement is that user should provide value for any one of the parameters.
If user does not enter value for both the parameters, i need to display a custom error message.
Parameter1 has an independent value set.
Parameter2 has character value set with validation type as special.
Process i tried so far:
In the value set for the second parameter, under the Validate event, i have written the following code:

There are a Couple of methods you can use for this.
Method 1 -
You can create an ini file and save a boolean Key "First Instance" as True. Now In your Program you read this Key, If it is True then you can show your ID Dialog VI.If False do not run the VI. At the Conclusion of Id Dialog you can update this registry enrty to False. So In effect you have created One time Event. In fact you can save ID as another Config entry.
The Drawback and advantage is that such an INI file can be edited by someone moderately knowledgeable about the Program
Method 2
Use Unitialized Shift Register in A while Loop. Please see LV2 style Globals entry under this forum. You can read and write to this Variable and it retains the Value it last had within it.
You can read
this Global the Very first time and say if it true you display your ID Vi. If False you dont. When you display your ID Vi you can Update your Global Like Before.

Run concurrent program one by one based on different parameter values.

The PO report runs as a concurrent program, but this should launch another concurrent program to run after its execution based on its PO Number as parameter to the next concurrent program.
while running this PO report, it should search the email id of vendor and sends the output of that report to respective vendors.
Any help would be appreciated.

After getting through the many problems and errors, Now I am able to send an email with attachment :)
But the thing is that, now i want to run PO report which will capture the approved PO's for the sysdate.
So I will call this (PO Report) sub concurrent prog in my pl sql procedure(which is main concurrent program).
when i will call the pl sql procedure that procedure should shoot an email of approved PO's onto the respective vendor's email address.
So if on a day I am getting Ten approved PO's then it should send an email with PO Report's output as an attachment to the respective vendor email id
So can u please tell me how to go about it.
And how to call vendor email id's in "UTL_MAIL.send_attach_varchar2".

How to default Concurrent Program delivery options to Email.

As of r12.1.3, we have a new button in concurrent request submission window called "Delivery Opts"
Clicking that button opens up a new window with delivery options.   Second tab contains the Email option.
I have a need where a concurrent program is submitted it should email the output by default without needing to manually enter email details every time.
I know that this can be done via scheduled concurrent requests. But in my case this concurrent program will be part of the shipping document set and will be submitted through the form and not SRS.
In concurrent program definition window under AOL, we have ability to assign default printer, but we do not have any ability to assign default email functionality.   It would be nicer if we had one.
That having said, does any one know how to do this ? How can I submit a concurrent program from a form and default to email option ?   Where would I control this setup?
Please advise.

How to make my program faster?

I have a program which produces two elements array. In normally the program ends in microseconds, however when I organize my program to send the array as a data to DAQ.mx write and the array will be the voltage output from my NI USB-6012 DAQ, my program ens in 40 seconds. How can I make my program faster? Is there any solution?

Program 1 runs 5 times and program 2 runs 41 times per loop. the total number of inner iterations is 25 vs. 1681 for a 67x difference.
Program 1 and program 2 have no timing information, thus spin at a undefined rate.
Program 2 does single point hardware IO and also has no timing information. The speed will depend on the hardware.
Running at a hardware dependent rate is not a good idea in general, because the speed will vary with every change in hardware and is not deterministic. You don't even know what occurs first at each iteration: the input or the output.
If speed is important, what you should do is use an improved variation (Yes, use FOR loops and ramps!) of program 1 to generate the final data array, then do a single "Nchan,Nsamp" IO, running input and output synchronized hardware timed off the same clock. This way you can select any acquisition speed up the the maximum supported by your DAQ hardware. It will be fast and at an exactly defined rate as it should be!
Try it!
