How to make one component to be displayed in multiple containers

I have a JRadioButton group which I want to add into both tool bar and one of the control dialog. Is there any way to share the instance?

@Op. One instance of a swing component can't be placed in two different containers or at two locations. You need to create two instances instead. That is, create a panel class which has your radiobuttons on it, create two instances of the class, and place the instances where you want them to be. The panel class is the view in the mvc concept, and they can both share a data model.

Any one knows how to make quicktime plugin do not display on top of the web page??? I've tried to change the zIndex property using javascript, but it doesn't work.
Because we have some widgets which are required to be moved to anywhere on the page, we use iframe to implement that, so it can display on top of quicktime plugin, but the plugin flickers sometimes when we do some operation on the widget which is on top of it.

You need to give more info..
Firstly only works for what.. networking.. backup.. wireless. You need more nouns.. more adjectives... describe what you want and what fails.. then we can figure out why.
Most likely you have bridged it when it should be in router mode..
Most likely you are using Lion or ML which has the airport utility bridge the TC by default.
Change it to working as a router. That might help.
If you press reset button it will default back to router btw.

z-order for what? the Canvas class itself? It's AWT, so why would they be adding to that? For Graphics? That's not really needed, since to paint you have to override paint in a subclassed component and in there by definition you can fully control your painting.

How to make mouse click event to display image on 2D array?

Hi! beginner programmer here looking for some guidance, hints and tips.
I'm making a game of "Connect 4" and using a 2D array to display the board which is 7x6 in size.
What i want to do is that when the player clicks on one of the squares, one of the 2 game pieces(red.png or yellow.png) will appear on the respective coordinates of the 2D array and check if the square in the first row is empty and if true, places/display
the game piece, else it places the piece on the first empty square.
Since i've never worked with WinForms or 2d arrays before i'm not sure how to initiate it.
What i was considering in pseudocode was:

How to make Macbook work with closed display?

I need to make MacBook to be closed (display) most of the time and work with external monitor, keyboard and mouse (actually trackball as I have been hating any type of mice since 1998 and not using it even at work).
Now I do not like mediocre resolution of small MacBook display and I prefer my 20 inch wide monitor. Also the keyboard is rather for quick work in small areas like restroom rather than comfortable work on big desk (I hate notebook keyboards either as they make me feel claustrophobic and crunching my fingers).
Considering recent buzz on Mac Mini not living for too long into future I would love to find alternative solution (meaning I do not want computer with display and keyboard in one and I do not have needs of spending few thousand of dollars for big metal case good for feeding and breeding birds I have ergonomics demands, but not higg performnce processing needs.
So can you tell me how I make Apple notebook being closed (and perhaps squashed by monitor stand) behave like a CPU box?

Thnaks, but I am not interested in bluethooth/wireless solution. That minimum of cable to reach CPU does not bother me and I do not buy big monitor to work on my computer from adjacent room. I just need space for more windows and I think Apple did great job having USB Hub on keyboard that allows stringing mouse and keayoboard with one cable to CPU.
Also I haven't heard of wireless KVM and I use such solution. This is not my only computer as I run home network and two of them in my room are supposed to share keyboard, mouse and monitor. So far I was successful to run this setup, but I need inexpensive plain CPU from Apple to be able to find comfortable solution to work.
Well I could drop the other computer if Apple managed to provide everything that I need (how about Safari properly working with Citrix client and Remote Desktop to Windows as I do not want Firefox on Apple computer? Only Firefox fixes the problems with this software).

O.K., i was looking the hole day to get that partions on a raid working.
to make the partions on each HD with the same volume, this is no problem. when you then create the first raid, works fine. but when you make the second raid, you get a massage, that this raid is not found.
then you see both raids at the disc utilty, but only at the first you seen the volumen down under, by the second not. the first works, the second is not avabiele.
so, now i have only one big mirrowed raid for my boot sector, and its runs fast, quick and without big noise... thats what i want, and the second big raid for my files.
2 raids at one mac pro with 4 hd. one with 2 x 250 gb hd for the bootsector, and the other with 2 x 500gb for files

I want to manually make one of the columns say for the deptno in my tabular form as on text item popup lov using apex_item package
and whenever user clicks on the text item popup lov, it should open up an dept table report and from which he/she needs to select
the deptno and this deptno should be returned into the text item popup lov column.
like for example: say if i have an emp table tabular form with all the columns and deptno column as an popup lov and when user clicks on this column
it should open up an new sql report(similar to popup lov window), the select statement for this would be

SQL Query (updateable report) - Can't figure out how to make one

Hi folks,
Can someone tell me how to make a report where the data can be updated? Not an interactive report, a SQL report that selects only one row. The only options in the drop down I see are "SQL Query" and "SQL Query (PL/SQL function body returning SQL query)", but I have a report elsewhere that says it's type is "SQL Query (updateable report)", but I can't remember how to do it :(

I think i should give answer to your question in two folds,
#1) Dont use the properties files for such opeation(enable and diaplbe of component), and if you wnat to use this then you need to do it via backing bean. What you have to do is, you can declare a property in backing bean of that page whcih will tell rendered about the enabling/disabling the particular component. To set the property delclared in backing bean read the property file and then set it to true or false based on your need.
#2) Use backing bean directly by omitting the property file from picture.
By taking a look at your exception it seems that the something is wrong with readonly attribute, can u post complete exception.
