Using user exit USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION in MV45AFZZ, use it when you are going for particular case.
Or you can go for or screen variant, use it when you are going for all cases
Hope this can assist you.
Thanks & Regards

  • Payment terms for a particular sales order

    Dear Gurus,
I want to trigger a particular payment term for a particular sales document type.
i.e., when i create a sales order with this particular sales document type the desired payment term should be copied into sales order by default. Is this possible.. please suggest.
    thanks
    suri

    Dear Suri
As you would be aware, by default, Payment Term will flow in sale order from customer master.  However, if you want to have a different payment term to flow automatically, then you have try with any of the following user exits.
User exits in the program MV45AFZZ - USEREXIT_READ_DOCUMENT
    User-Exits in program MV45AFZB - USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAK

  • Locking Payment Terms field on OM Sales Order

    Hi,
Our users are entering sales order using OM responsibility. We have customers that have a payment term of COD. Within a sales order, when one of these customers is selected and COD is returned to the payment terms field, the user can still change it. We would like to lock the payment terms field when a payment term of COD is returned and not allow it to be updated. If the payment term is not COD, we would allow the user to change it if needed. Can we possibility do this using forms personalization?
    Thanks for the help

    Dear MoazzaM,
I know that payment term is available in 3 screens. My question is that if I make the field invisible in any of the screen then it should at least perform for that particular screen. Because I tried the same with Std TV BUS2032 and it worked.
Or is it that If apply the changes for all the screens it would take effect in case of Z transaction variant?
But I am surprised why the same is not getting called when I use a Z transaction variant. Also please note that if I refer to the Std TV BUS2032 and make a copy of the same I am still not able to use it as the screens called there are already used at many places in standard SAP?
    Please suggest.

  • Make payment terms in sales order editable after billing

    Hi,
i checked orders in two different systems. In one system payment term is editable even after completely billing the sales order. In other system the payment term field in sales order is grayed out after complete billing and it is not editable.
Not sure what is the standard way. Is there any configuration / develpement throgh which we can control this?
I want to make payment terms editable in SO even after completely billing the order.
    Any suggesion friends?
    Thanks,
    Tushar

    Hello Tushar,
    The fields:
       VBKD-INCO1 (Incoterm 1)
       VBKD-INCO2 (Incoterm 2)
       VBKD-ZTERM (Payment terms)
remain open at header level even after the order has been billed.
At the item level these fields are greyed out but at header level
they remain open in the event that a user may want to add more items
    to the sales document.
The possibilities where the payment term disabled for edit at header
level could be done by modification/userexits, or screen definition.
Could you please check if you are using exits in MV45AFZZ particularly USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION or screen variant ?

  • How to create payment terms in AP Supplier Interface

    Hi Folks.
May I know How to create payment terms(for ex:45 days) through AP Supplier Interface.
Kindly suggest me the exact column name in interface.
    Regards,
    Raj

    Hi Raj,
To populate the terms information, you use the ap_invoices_interface.terms_name or ap_invoices_interface.terms_id fields. This assumes that the terms themselves are already created.
Currently there is no functionality to add new terms through the supplier interface.

There are as many options for that
    You can go for
    1)MASS t code
    2) LSMW  (by recording)
    3)BDC (by recording)
and the most easiest way is by doing the MASS tcode
goto MASS and enter the object type as BUS2032
execute now select the sales order haeader data and execute and now enter the sales doc from and to range and execute now all the sales dox will be displayed
and from the menu click on select fields  and select the terms of payment
now select the terms of payment row and enter the new values  and click on carry out new changes

    Hi,
You can try implicit enhancement in the include MV45AF0T_TCTRL_U_ERF_AUFTRAG_I
    use below code.
DATA: WA_COLS LIKE LINE OF TCTRL_U_ERF_AUFTRAG-COLS.
       LOOP AT   TCTRL_U_ERF_AUFTRAG-COLS INTO WA_COLS.
       IF WA_COLS-SCREEN-NAME = 'VBAP-ZTERM'. " Check the field name
       WA_COLS-SCREEN-INPUT = 0.
       WA_COLS-SCREEN-OUTPUT = 1.
      MODIFY TCTRL_U_ERF_AUFTRAG-COLS FROM WA_COLS.
       ENDIF.
    ENDLOOP.
It better to control it via a custom authorization object.
put a authorization create a custom authorization object so that you can restrict it for a certain users.
    AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'ZTERM'
             ID 'ACTVT' FIELD '02'.
    IF SY-SUBRC NE 0.
       LOOP AT   TCTRL_U_ERF_AUFTRAG-COLS INTO WA_COLS.
    ENDLOOP.
    ENDIF.

    Abdetu.

    Hello Gerd
    Thanks for reply,
i made a search for the file u mentioned
FMRWEB; i found it on path C:\orant\FORMS60
    having the following :
    # FMRWEB.RES is the key definition file for webforms. The syntax is:
    # JFN : JMN : URKS : FFN : URFD (whitespace ignored)
    # JFN = Java function number
    # JMN = Java modifiers number
    # URKS = User-readable key sequence (double-quoted)
    # FFN = Forms function number
    # URFD = User-readable function description (double-quoted)
    # JAVA FUNCTION NUMBER
    # 33 = PageUp
    # 34 = PageDown

    # 36 = Home
    # 37 = LeftArrow
    # 38 = UpArrow

    # modifier explicitly included, as well as any other
    # modifiers that might be used.)
    # 112 - 123 = F1 thru F12
    # 9 = Tab (Ctrl+I, without the control modifier)
    # 10 = Return (Ctrl+J, without the control modifier)

    # FORMS FUNCTION NUMBER
    # The Forms function numbers match the function numbers found in a

  • How to make payment mean available in Sales Order?

    Hi,
Customer is using 2007A PL30 Australia/New Zealand localization. We found in US Demo database, payment mean is available in Sales Order. Business nature of this customer involves down payment/deposit/refund/cancel deposit. We think of using payment mean rather than down payment invoice because of its limitation. May I know where to make this setup or it is due to localization?
    Regards
    Thomas

    Hi,
It could be probably caused by business process nature issue. To know more detail, download this file from partner portal : SAP Business One Globalization Knowledge Base.

  • How to define payment term - Net due 45 days after month end

Anyone have experience of payment terms such as "Net Due 45 days after Month End"?
I'm trying to define payment terms where the amount is due X days after month end.
Terms such as 10 days after month end are OK because I can set "Months Ahead" = 1 and "Day of Month" = 10
However, I can't exceed a value of 31 in the "Day on Month" field. I could assume that a month is 31 days and therefore set "Months Ahead" =1 and "Day of Month" = 14. However, this won't always be true (depending on the month) and it will impact aging buckets.
Anyone encountered this before? (These payment terms seem to common in France and Denmark)

    Hi Supriya,
In OBB8, create a new payment term with the following settings -
Default for baseline date = No default
    Payment terms/Term 1/Fixed date = 1
    Payment terms/Term 1/Additional months = 2
This payment term will ask you for a baseline date on document entry. You can give the delivery date as the baseline date. If required, this date can be changed after posting the document also.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Mike
