How to modify Numbers in Keyboard?
Hi, I have a macbook pro 2011 17, when I orderd it I choosed French keyboard and when I got I saw there is some difrences, but my main probleomes are Numbers, I have to use them with uper key and I dont used to do it so most of time my numbers typing like this &é"', instead of 123... is there any help?

This would be a lot easier if you created a class to encapsulate those three data members, then created a list of those objects. The class could have three variables, name, stock, and value. Then it's easy to write a method to add or subract to the stock of a particular item, and you don't have to worry about modifying the wrong element in the list, casting elements to the right type (String, int, float, etc).

Help, need simple instructions on how to use numbers with keyboard.
I just got Numbers for IPAD 2 and I am new to Spreadsheets in general. I simply cannot understand how to use this program with my mini external keyboard (gotten from Apple) to make it do what I need it to do. I am trying to set up a spreadsheet for my Jewelry Design Business. It's an inventory Spreadsheet, listing each item, the number of the item, the title, description, price and final sold price and type of Jewelry. I need the two price columns to add the sum of all the jewelry in each row, which by some miracle I was actually able to do. What I am having trouble with is getting it to automatically change to dollars for the two price columns without having to touch the dollar sign on the formula bar each time I enter a new item, and getting it to jump from the last cell in the last column to the first cell of the first column when I am finished with a row and need to go to the next item. What it does do is either jump to the cell right beneath it, or go backwards, or sometimes it does go to the first cell of the next line, but I don't know what I am doing to make that happen. Anyway being new to this all, it is obvious I need specific simple instructins on how to use this program. Does anybody know where I can find some help?
IMHO, forget about doing any meaningful Excel work an iPad unless you want to be a slave and spend 3-4 times the amount of time it would take to do inputs on a normal computer. Now, IF there was mouse support, then it might be worth the effort. I tried it and gave up.

Say I have an arraylist with these values:
[item1, 65, 555.5]item1 represents the name of an item type, 65 represents the number in stock, and 555.5 represents the value of one item.
Now say I want to add 10 item1's to the number in stock. So I want to change the 65 in the array list to a 75. How could I do this?

If you go to the Wrench icon in the corner and tap go to help... it will take you to the online documentation. Read as much as you can and you will learn an awful lot about what you can do with it.
there is also a "getting started" document that is really good to learn from. It should have been installed with your Numbers install as the only file in the file list. Tab #4 "Adding Cell Content" is the one your looking for, and you should walk through them all, actually doing the small exercises they have.

Once the keyboard is connected, it should work with any app that uses the standard keyboard interface, so it will work with iWork.

From the menu bar, select
▹ System Preferences... ▹ Keyboard ▹ Keyboard ▹ Show Keyboard & Character Viewers in menu bar
Now select
Show Keyboard Viewer
from the menu with a keyboard icon in the menu bar, towards the right. By pressing modifier keys, you can see what characters correspond to any key combination. You can also produce a character by clicking it in the viewer. -

The problem with the existing shortcut is that on a laptop, the Home button is frequently sharing space with another key. It is a hassle to have to access Home and the alt key when accessing Home is itself an operation.
The problem with add-ons is that I cannot, in a reasonably quick momentary glance, determine their safety now, nor in the future as they are updated. Since Mozilla does not certify add-ons as safe, I prefer to avoid them.
Other programs don't present such difficulties with simple things like modifying shortcuts. It's pretty standard for that to be accessible from a Customize submenu in one of the main drop-downs. -
Modifier key's keyboard won't save

I hope this is something easy! Thank you.I don't think that dialog indicates which keyboard you are using. It lets you select the keyboard, and then set the modifier keys for that selected keyboard.
Are the adjustments not sticking for the keyboard you choose?

These patches add the Profile option (FORMS DIGIT SUBSTITUTION) , but when i try to used it has no effect at all .
So kindly if you have any idea about this issue please help me.

How to assign numbers in external number range?
Dear experts,
Since NUMBER_GET_NEXT can only be used to assign numbers in internal number range, how to assign numbers in external number range?
So far, I only know the NUMBER_CHECK function module to deal with external number ranges and it only check a number whether it lies in any external number range or not, but it doesn't update any number range status. What I need is a function module like NUMBER_GET_NEXT that supports external number range.

The only thing you need to know is whether the number you wish to assign is allowed according to the external number range. And also check if there isn't already an object/document with the same number in the database.

and one more that kff field working is fine for ex display any text pled displayed properly and only problem is not set the value and HrSitKeyFlex6 and HrSitKeyFlex7 fields are perfectly get the values but not pront HrSitKeyFlex8 that only my issue....
