How to open the target location in the same window using tomahawk menu

Am using apache tomahawk menu component.
We have a mix of locations that are internal path and also external URL. However, we need to open the location in the same window.
We are using the

The component open the external URL in a new window irrespective of the target location. Is there a way to override this behavior.

How to open the contributor window

i've designed a site in designer put some contributor regions in that and also assigned already existing files to those contributor regions,
but in the contributor pdf i read that to open the contributor window i have to press
CTRL+SHIFT+F5
but when i press these key combination nothing happens, am i doing something wrong..plz tell, what to do and how. Its urgent.

mikey is right that it should install the first time you enter Ctrl-Shift-F5, but if nothing happens, I would guess you have one of two options:
1) you have ActiveX limited or disabled in your browser. Go into your IE settings and make sure that you enable ActiveX. Try it again; if that doesn't work....
2) you need to install it manually. Look in this location: <installroot>\weblayout\common and unpack the sitestudiocontributor.cab file. Run the SETUP.exe file in there to install (must have local admin rights).
Hopefully one of those two get you on your way.

Need to open the iview in the same window using the navigateObsolute method

Hi Guys,
Iam facing a problem using the Navigate Obsolute method. I want the target iview to be displayed on the same window rather than the seperate window. For this I have selected the WDPortalNavigationMode as SHOW_INPLACE. Still the target iview is displayed on different window.
The code I have written is
WDPortalNavigation.navigateAbsolute("ROLES://portal_content/com.accenture.Radar/com.accenture.radar.ProjectsIView",WDPortalNavigationMode.SHOW_INPLACE,WDPortalNavigationHistoryMode.NO_DUPLICATIONS,(String) null);

The link open in the same window - Label based menu

Hi All,
I'm using Xcelsius 2008. I add a Selector Component "Selector complonenet > Label based menu". I setup 6 Lable and each one link to a URL. When clicking the label on the generated SWF report, the link opened in a new window.
So i'd like to know if the link can open in the same window (not pop-up a window and open in it)?I tried to setup it in properties, but it seems there is no way to do this.
Could I get your guide how to do that? Thank you so much.

I would like to know one thing before answring the question how did you link with an url with the label based menu.
Did you used the opendocument syntax or what did you used.
Another method is why donf you use the URL button and map according to your requirement. place the url button on the menu item and change the properties to tranperancy to 0%.

In EBP we are using BSP as OCI for raising a shopping cart . Currently at the home page(where links for catalogs are displayed) , when we click he link the BSP application opens in a new window.
What changes are required that the BSP application opens in the same window and not a new window?

As per the SRM_SERVER IMG Help data for external web services:
7. Create the dialog/call structure.
To open a Web Service in a separate window, choose Standard Call Structure.
To open a Web Service within the application, choose Integrated Call Structure.
Note:
For the Integrated Call Structure of product catalogs, you should use the servlet delivered for this purpose (see post installation steps: Integrating the Requisite Catalog in the Shopping Cart).
Syntax example:
http://<HTTP-Server>:<port>/<your_entry>/catalog/logonOCI.do
SAP recommends that you only use the Integrated Call Structure for the catalog delivered by SAP because external product catalogs and Web Services usually to not take the SRM-Server-specificHTML frame structures into account. How to open the numbers window in the same place?

I like to have the Numbers window open in the same place every time (lower right hand corner of the screen), so that I can have the windows of other programs open too. As it is, I have to move it there every time. This isn't a big deal, I realize, but I didn't have to do that with the previous version: it always opened the window to the last place it was located when I closed the program the previous time.

How to open the browser window of the user to the size of the webpage ?

My webpages are 1000 x 600 pixels, and I would like the browser window of any user opens in that size for he can see the website as I want to. Is it possible ? I guess it is because the pop-up windows of a "photo page" open to the size of the pictures (when you click on the miniature pictures), so iWeb should have this possibility.

Here are some basic instructions for making html changes after publishing in iWeb:
1. Publish your site via iWeb
2. Find your html files.
Go to iDisk/Web/Sites/iWeb/Sitename/Pagename.html
(If you publish to a folder, look in the folder you selected or try looking in your Sites folder of your home folder. )
There are two ways to handle accessing your iDisk.
Method 1:
Turn on local copy of your iDisk in System Prefs, with or without automatic syncing.
If you publish your site via iWeb, now the updated pages exist online but the old pages are on your local iDisk. You need to sync (automatically or manually) to get the new pages on your local iDisk (on your computer).
Then you can open the updated files, make your html changes in Text Edit or whatever program, and SYNC AGAIN (automatically or manually) to update the online version of the site to match what you have just changed on your local iDisk
Method 2:
Mount the iDisk when needed via the "Go" menu in Finder. This is the ONLINE VERSION of your iDisk, not a local copy. When you publish your site via iWeb, the changes INSTANTLY appear on the iDisk on your desktop. If you make html edits or other changes, they appear INSTANTLY online.
I recommend Method 2 - much easier!!!
3. Make the html changes.
You can open the html files generated by iWeb in any text or html editor. In TextEdit, to view the code in an HTML file, choose File > Open and select "Ignore rich text commands." Then locate the .html file (as described in step 2) and click Open.
Make your changes (i.e. follow the directions on the link provided by James - it worked for me when I entered that page, so the 2000 suggestion still works!) and don't forget to save your changes (not Save As, just Save)!!!
4. Remember, if you make a change to a page like this post-publishing, and later re-publish, you have to make the html changes again! Set up a Find/Replace command in MassReplaceIt and you can do this very quickly. You can save your queries so you can make all of your changes with one click the next time you save.

You would have to have all of the applets connect to a "server applet" on one of the computers. When the applet starts, you could give the choice to host or connect to another host using an ip address and port, using the ServerSocket and the Socket classes. However, this requires multiple threads running, but is quite possible. The server would need threads to accept clients, receive information, and send information (plus the built-in gui and event threads). The clients would need a thread to receive information from the server and update the applet page.

it seems to me my logoff.jsp never realize the session I established in my servlets.
Here is how I set my session in my servlets:

So,

That means the jsp never instantiates the build in session object.
<%@ page session="true"%>
means jsp will instantiates a session object if there are no existing ones
how about I just delete the line,
does that mean the jsp will find the existing session object for me?
So I can do something like
Our Session id is : <%= session.getId() %>
<% session.removeAttribute("userid");
session.invalidate();
%>
directly.

How to open the FPM (pcuigp_xssfpm ) used in CATS application ?

Hi All,
Can anyone help me out in accessing the above mentioned FPM ( pcuigp_xssfpm ) as I am new to Java webdynpro and dont have working experience in FPM.
My actual requirement is to tweak a litle with the standard SAP ESS application CATS ( record working time ). But I could see the layout for the record entry page comign through the FPM. Hence need to access the FPM and check out if chnaging things here is possible.

I am checking the component VcCatRecordEntry under the CATS DC. Please find below the screenshot of the view in this component where the buttons come from Java webdynpro but the table for time record entry seems to be coming through the FPM.
My doubt is that the code for the actions are also going through FPM.Hence for any enhancements, I would like to check the existing code on click on the " SAve as Template " action.Please clarify on this.
