Hi All ,
greets....
i have a requirement to select the data based on customer number and then do furthur processing .
example:
this is some 10 dcouments in customer nr:v1000
and 20 documents in customer v2000 in a internal table how to select that,
thank s in advance.

thier is an internal table which is having some 1000records.
and their is 6 customers.
in which i should pick the data based on customer number.
how to write a code for that?

for this no need of BPM.
You can think of Idoc bundling concept to acheive this-just you need to do the external definition to change the idoc occurence

to achieve for each document no, one idoc, you can write small user defined function in the mapping with context handling you an achieve this.

What is the application version ? what exactly you want to achieve ?
Direct deletion is not recommended in oracle application database.

I have the table data like this.
type quantity revenue_mny count country
a 10           10          2 India

I woulkd like to split the date based on type column.
For each country, for Type "a" get the sum of revenue count quanity ans same for b
and all shuld come in on row for each country.
output should be like
country revenue_mny(For a) quantity(for a) count(For a) revenue_mny(for b) quantity(for b) count(For b)
India 22 30 5 15 30 1
US 20 35 2 25 80 2
I tried the below query . its not splittng the date for each country in one row.

you can use SimpleDateFormat to parse Date objects to formatted Strings
SimpleDateFormat (Java Platform SE 7 )
Note that dependent in your Date type you may deal with Date or SQL Date in ADF BC. SqlDate woild need to be converted to Date first and then parsed into a formatted String. I suggest you Google for SimpleDateFormat examples

I want to know each user ,how many sets modified.
based on above input data,my output would be in the following way:
user_name no.of sets upated for single user

Based on your sample data, why does TEST1 have a count of 2? From what I can see, the only SET_ID that is associated with TEST1 is SET974 so I would think that you'd want TEST1 to have a count of 1.
If I ignore the data you posted and just look at the text of your requirements, I would guess that you wanted
SELECT user_name, COUNT( DISTINCT set_id ) cnt
FROM some_table
GROUP BY user_nameThis won't give the output you said you wanted based on the sample data you provided, however, for the reason I outlined above.
If you actually do expect to get the output you posted from the sample data you posted, can you explain in a bit more detail why TEST1 should have a value of 2? It would also be helpful to post the CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements rather than just dumping the data. If you provide DDL & DML, we can create the objects locally and verify our solutions rather than guessing based on eyeballing the data.

I agree with Mr. Andreas Weiden . use the standard function for the blocks.
First if you have any PK or FK relationship with the two tables then you can use the table wizard then just follow the procedure and be sure you click the checkbox which is default, automatically create relationship.
If you dont have PK/FK then just follow again the table block wizard ... just unclick the check box for autocreate relationship then press button to create base on the SQL join.
on the create join editor :
deptno = empdepno
the press okey. forms wizards will create all the rest... you can now notice a new object RELATIONSHIP below the DEPARMENT BLOCK and some forms genareted triggers.
And CHANGE THE BLOCK PROPERTIES TO UPDATE ABLE,INSERT ABLE, DELETE to NO.. IF YOU WANT ONLY ON DISPLAY
OR BETTER CREATE A 2 VIEWS CORRESPONDENT TO YOUR QUERY ON YOUR CURSOR.... and follow the procedure i gave above.

my sender file adapter needs to pick up 5 files based on file size.
for example 1file size is 500kb,2nd file size 300kb,3rd file size 400kb, 4file size 100kb and 5file size 600kb.
here my requirement is, my file adapter needs to pick in the below order like 5th file,1st file,3rd file 2nd file and 4th file.
means based on file size, i need to pick up my file adapter.

2. sort the files on basis of their size.
3. place the files one by one after definite time interval (more than polling time of the sender communication channel).

The code runs in infinite loop. You need to run them in command line in DOS environment as you indicated that you OS is WIN XP. I have a few print statements which I kept for debugging, you can safely remove them and run the codes. This code is independent of the Operating System you are using. Only change is required in values of "dir1","dir2", timings and file count, which I think you can take care easily.

How to import the data to Data manager

Hi All,
I am new to MDM and need your help in handling the following issue
In our setup we are sending the Customer master data from R/3->XI->MDM (R/3-> XI IDOCs, XI->MDM XML files).
with the help of extraction job in R/3 IDOCs r generated and XI has onverted these IDOCs to XML Files and created at MDM Server. Now my Question is how to import the Data from these XML files to Data Manager !!!!
Note : Import Map settings are done already in the system.
Can any one help me the steps requeired to get this data to Data manager .
and am I need to do some activity in MDM to import the data to Data manager each and every time or is there any automatic way of doing this .
Please guide me.

Hi MDM User,
Generally there are 2 cases while importing the data,
1) Initial Load
2) Delta Load
Initial Load means importing the data into MDM at first time.This is usually done by manual importing
without using import server.
Delta Load means importing the data into MDM when we have changes to existing data or added new data
to existing data.This is usually done by automatically using import server.
To manually import the data,just create a remote system and port in console and login into import manager
using remote system.Create ,save the map and execute the map.There is no other configurations needed.
To automatically import the data without manual intervention,we go for import server.
To let this happen we need to set some configuarations in mdis.ini file of import server.
Give the repository name,username and password which are set in console for that repository and also
give schedule time based on which import server picks the file from ready folder.
Go to the import manager , change the map and import action depends on your requriment and save that
map.
and also you need to set port type as inbound and automatic and select the map which you saved earlier in
MDM console.
As soon as we start the import server, it picks the file from ready folder of MDM server based on
configurations which we set in mdis.ini file and executes the map.
Here i am giving complete path of ready folder.
SAP MDM 5.5> Server>Distributions>bp1bocap080.bp.co_MSQL> BP3_PoC_Customer> Inbound>Siebel> SIEBEL_OB_CUS_SIEBELCUS01> Ready)
This path has to be given in target directory of receiver communication channel of XI so that it puts XML
file in the above path.

I have one requirement while creating sales order the pricing herarchy should be
based on the date mentioned in the Delivery date. Generally the pricing hierarchy
happens based on system date.
So how to get the hierarchy based on the date mentioned in the delivery date ?
I analysed in debugging if I change the date field in debugging mode in the function module
SD_CUSTOMER_HIERARCHY_PATH then i am getting the pricing hierarchy based on the desired date
other then system date.

I need to extract the data from R/3 to BI . Below i am giving Table name followed by field name and field description.
