How to pick up a Particular value in a table

Hi all,
I have the output of a query to display in a table.Now i want to pickup some values from the output table and use them to display in a graph.
I wanted to pick the values as below:
i have 6 rows in the table and 10 columns in the table.
How can i pick the values from the intersection of 2nd row and 8th column,and intersection of 3rd row and 6th column,intersection of 4rh row and 5th column....and something like this...
i wanted to store these values in an invisible form and use them when i require.

I want to display the 4 values in a form which are to be taken from the above table (which are bold).....i.e
value 1 as 280 which is intersection of row1 and column3
value 2 as 260 which is intersection of row2 and column1
value 3 as 639 which is intersection of row3 and column3
value 4 as 367 which is intersection of row4 and column2

For using FTP function in LabVIEW, I recommend you to check this document: FTP Basics
Also, take a look at FTP Browser.vi, which is available at the Example Finder.
To edit a XML file, try to use VIs in XML palette. Maybe Write to XML.vi helps you.

I have some Base R/3- Tables . I need to exact the data from these base tables.
But i need to select some type of datarecords(eg: select Material Documents from MSEG and MKPF tables based on movement types 261,262).
Something like that . So how can i select the particular category datarecords from base tables. Anyway im going to create the Custom DataSource.

See i have some 5-tables . I need to extarct from these tables.
first i need to extract the data from one table fully.
Then i need to extarct the data from second table based on profict centers, company codes of first table.
Then i need to extract the data from third table based on profict centers of first table and movement type = 2p,2n,2s condition.
So how can i extarct like this data from multiple tables.

How to pick up the last value of the input string

Hi there,
I have a requirement in which I have to pick up the last value of the input string.
I don't know the field length, it could be 10 line, it could be 4 line and it could be even 1 line.
Another problem is that the field contains all the alphanumeric values so the sort function is not working.
I believe I need to write a UDF but not sure exact what and how.
Can some body please help me solving this issue.

Thanks for your quick response but unfortunately I am getting mapping exception.
What I did is create a UDF with 2 input
INPUT
a string
b string
and then this code

I am wondering about the input as well.
At present I am doing
KTEXT + KTEXT --- UDF
+ does represent concat, means same input will go to the UDF

How can i insert new updated values in a table??

Hi ,
Can any one suggest me is there any way to insert the recently added data from one table to another table where both the tables have the same structure.
Suppose i have 10 rows in both table T1 and T2 and now if we add another 4 new rows in the table T2 .Can i update my table T2 w.r.t. T1 with these new row values.
Remember both the 10 rows in the tables T1 and T2 are the same and the strucuture of the tables are also the same.
please advice the way to achieve this and if then explain me how to achieve it?Looking forward for the response

I thought of a more simple approach instead of going to the concept of stored procedure.But i am unable to do it on a scheduled basis like if i want this query to be run on a periodic basis i need to implement this sql query using a job.
can u suggest how to do it..As far as i know we can include the sql query inside a job to be scheduled on a weekly basis.
And also have a look at the sql i have written below it will insert all the extra row values of t2 into t1.please help me in scheduling it on a periodic basis .

How can I auto-number particular rows in a table?

I have a table within a dynamic form. In column 2 there is a drop-down where the user can pick a certain reagent. I would like to set it up so that column 1 auto-populates with a series of numbers when certain reagents are chosen. It needs to be an action/formula as the rows are added as needed to the form.

Can anyone help me out with a script or other way to accomplish this?

How to get all the column values from a table source

I have created one table source on a employee table and some customized attributes using global settings>search attributes.
Now these customized attributes mapped with the table columns through attribute mapping from the sorce tab.
Using doOracleSearch method i passed last parameter i.e. Integer array of customized attributes.
After execution of doOracleSearch method i am getting the results but customized attributes are not coming.
getCustomAttributes method returns null instead of some values.

WebDynpro - How to pass a single field value to BAPI table?

Hello,
I have just come from WebDynpro ABAP training and being a novice hit my first issue right away.
I need to use BAPI - BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATEFROMDATA to create SD contract (I have used this BAPI to create a service call inside Webdynpro). I have two required fields: contract start and end dates. These fields passed in a table called CONTRACT_DATA_IN.
When I use the fields from the structures or individual fields, all I need to do is just put them on the view, and when I hit my submit button they will be passed to the BAPI. They are a part of COMPONENTCONTROLLER context (I have also mapped them in View context), but tables are obviously different.
Is there any way to pass data to tables as seamlessly without any code as for structures? Or do I need to write code to get the values from the input fields and then populate the table manually?

Hi,
Single customer contract creation use the struture-
If you want to pass only one record then using the input fields for those 2 fields we can pass them to BAPI and then create the Customer Contract. This will work for only one record of customer contract.
then we can directly read these input fields and pass to BAPI.
Creating many customer contracts -
For example, If you want to provide the group of records at a time and then you want to create the cusotmer contracts for so many records then you fill these fields and pass them to table then pass this table to the tables parameters of that BAPI.
Here we need not create the Table UI element separate input fields would serve the purpose.
Now we can create the batch of contracts for N customers.
these input fields of a customer will be passed to table, then next set of input fields etc.
For this create the Table UI element and fill all the records and then pass it to the Tables of the BAPI.
