How to post back to another view or skip restore view phase?

Hi, I have a small application with a template used by every page. In this template there is a button to logout as shown below

</h:form>It works, but has the undesirable side effect of first triggering processing included in the constructor of other backing beans used in the page. This is because JSF first restore view of the page, and in doing that it instantiates every bean used in the view. Then after restoring the view it calls the method logout in the loginBean.
I wanted a way to change the action of that logoutForm, but it seems it is impossible in JSF.
Is there anything I can do to post back to another view, skipping unecessary processing that occurs in the restore view phase of the view that includes the template with the logout form?

JSF is a stateful API - the stateful part is the building of the component tree server side. To be able to do this, the backing beans need to be invoked.
So no, it is not possible to do this and keep JSF in the loop; if you really must bypass the creation of the beans, make sure the JSF servlet isn't invoked (for example, use a plain old servlet).

Sorry, but if you have forgotten the password for your encrypted backup, you'll have to start all over again:
Make sure that the password you use is one that you'll remember. If you encrypt an iPhone backup in iTunes and forget your password, you won't be able to restore from backup, and your data will be unrecoverable.
If you can't remember the password and want to start again, you must perform a full software restore and choose set up as a new device when iTunes prompts you to select the backup from which to restore.

When I export the Keynote presentation as a HTML, there is a folder with several files in it. I want to post it on my site -- but am not sure what code to copy and paste.

during i record result, i also confirm activity of labor processing.
my problem is the screen of confirmation activity have only 3 field can input. 1. activity quantity 2. work center 3. plant.
so every time i confirm activity system always record as system date.
but i would like to post back to the previous. so can we config to change this screen to show date that allow to change during confirmation.

Yes u may change the screen content but for that u need the screen no. and u may also take the help of an ABAPr, for screen modifications. and if u want back date posting than use user exit QLCO0002 for this.
or if u simply want the proposed dates or confirmation dates (Previous) than u need to check ur config. -

Help...how to switch back to another computer's library?

I have an ipod nano 2gb. Recently i had connected it to another computer's itunes while i was on holiday. Now that I'm back...after connecting it to my own computer my ipod won't recognise my old library/itunes.
Does anyone know what I can do? Any help much appreciated!

Bo it doesn't tell em to switch. And honestly, I wouldnt want to...I dont like the new version at all.
What does show up is a couple of songs from my brother's computer that I used on holiday but no error messages or anything. I didn't think this would be so complicated...
When i look at the space used up on my nano I can see that my songs are still on it...they're just not showing up. Itunes recognizes the nano but the songs dont show.

No, no, not "Disable" it, just "STOP" it. You still want it to be set to "Automatic", you just want to Stop the Service.
After you have stopped it, you can verify that it is not running as follows: bring up the Task Manager (press ctrl-shift-esc), select the Processes tab, and verify that the iPodService.exe process is not listed there, nor is iTunes.exe (iTunesHelper.exe is okay though).
If you don't see those listed, and it still locks up when you plug in your iPod, well, then your computer is well and truly hosed. You need to reinstall Windows. And that's a whole other can of worms...

How do i back up my phone or not restore it?

At this point you are stuck. You will have to restore, and yes, without a backup your only option will be to restore as new, then set everything up again from scratch.
You will loose any data on the device since you failed to backup previously. No way around that if the device is stuck in recovery mode and you do not already have a backup in place.
Your purchased content can be redownloaded from the iTunes and App stores once you get it restored (other than audiobooks that is).

How do I back up my computer if I can only open the restore disc

When I start my Mac book pro it shows the apple symbol with a losing bar underneath it. When the loading bar finishes the computer shuts back down. I then started my computer by first holding 'option' then pressing the power button. This brings up a screen where I can choose between two discs. One is Macintosh HD and the other is Restore- 10.8. I chose Restore -10.8 because I read that I would be able to repair my Macintosh HD disc with disc utility. So I open Restore - 10.8 then I open disc utility then I selected Macintosh HD and click repair disc. The details of the repair showed numerous issues including 'invalid leaf record count' 'missing thread record' 'Overlapped extent allocation' and then finally it said "the volume Macintosh HD could not be repaired". It said I have to backup as many files on my computer as I can, then reformat the disc. I know how to back up my computer regularly but I have no way of accessing my finder or home screen. So how do I back up my files from the Restore- 10.8 disc? Is it even possible and if not what can I do to not lose the files I haven't backed up?

If you are able to obtain an external hard drive you can format it to Mac OS Extended Journaled with a GUID partition. Then install Mac OS X onto the external hard drive and boot from it.
This will allow you to start up the computer and access your internal hard drive to copy the files manually off of it.

Right. You didn't read the post, you only read the title.
The title came from an earlier step in the process when I was posing a question to the systen.
The pertinent part of the question is "How to I back up documents that are stored in iCloud"
That the destination for the backup is NOT my internal HDD should be clear from the rest of the post.
And frankly, even if that is where I want to back up to, that would at least give me two copies, at least giving me one duplicate of the stuff on iCloud.
So please stop wasting my time if you can't answer the actual question: How do I backup content that is stored in iCloud. The destination of the backup is irrelevant.

How to open form in another form view when click image in list view?

I have created list view where "Picture" is one of the column. If you click Picture column it will open its item. I achieve using this

Actually that list form has been customized by InfoPath and create two views.
Now, when i click that Picture column in that list view, it should open in another view instead of default view. How to achieve this?

According to your post, my understanding is that you customized the list form, and created two list view.
I had created two list view, named view1 and view2, and customized the list form using the InfoPath.
Then replaced the code onclick=\"openModalDialog('EditForm.aspx?ID="+itemID+"','"+itemTitle+"')\"
with
onclick=\"openModalDialog('view2.aspx?ID="+itemID+"','"+itemTitle+"')\".
Afther that, edit the view1 page, Edit the list web part. Go to Miscellaneous -> JS Link, add the following URL into the JS Link textbox.
~site/Shared Documents/PictureFieldTemplate.js
Now when you click the image, it would open the view2 page.

JSF and ADFBC: How to Run a method every time the page is posted back

Hi everyone,
I am using ADFBC and JSF in my project, and there is a page which runs the following logic: The page displays a set of radio options and a submit button. It has a total of 4 options, but they never display all at once. For example, when user enters the page for the first time, only selectItem 1 displays. When it clicks on the submit button, the page is posted back and hides the first select item, showing now the second, and so forth. The steps i did to achieve this are:
1 - Created a method on the App Module that inserts a row corresponding to the select item choice.
2 - Created another method that verifies which is the lastly entered row and returns a string containing the relevant attribute, for example, "E".
3 - Created the methodAction binding to run the insertMethod (1) and retrieveMethod (2).
4 - Created an invokeMethod executable for the retrieveMethod (2) and set the refresh property to "always".
5 - Created a variableIterator with a variable to hold the retrieveMethod return, also setting the refresh to "always".
6 - Lastly, bound the "rendered" attribute of each select item to the variable's value, for example "#{bindings.returnVariable == 'E'}
When i run the page, the logic works almost fine, except for one detail: When the user clicks the button that calls insertMethod, the page is posted back, and i assume the selectItems should be re-rendered accordingly. Yet, the button click inserts the row in the DB (called insertMethod) but keeps showing the previous radio item. If i restart OC4J, when i enter the page again the radio is now correct, showing the next option.
Do you know how can i tell the page that the model has been refreshed, so it runs the retrieveMethod again, alters the variable and the radio options without having to leave the page or restarting OC4J?

It seems i have figured out the error. It was a logic mistake on my method, ADF was doing the refreshes just fine. There is another little question i wanted to ask now: I need to execute a JSF Navigation Case when the page loads, in order to navigate to another page due to a certain condition. is there any way to run some logic to redirect the request before the page has been rendered, just like the onLoad() javascript event runs on the body every time it gets loaded?
What i'm trying to do exactly is this: When the login.jspx page runs the "success" navigation case, it goes to "page1.jspx". But before "page1.jspx" is loaded, i need to run an Application Module method to check for a certain situation; if this criteria is not met, i must run "fail" navigation case, from "page1.jspx" to "page2.jspx" without ever displaying page1.jspx.
Is it clear enough? Can you guys give me some pointers on how to do it?

You can find the backup files and then copy them to a safe place if you are worrying about this.
iTunes places the backup files in these places:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
The "~" represents your Home folder. If you don't see Library in your Home folder, hold Option and click the Go menu.
Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
To quickly access the AppData folder, click Start. In the search bar, type %appdata%, then press Return.
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

If you have one Mac backing up already.. you can just use another.. TM is perfectly happy working with several computer on the same TC.. it will create a sparsebundle for its files.. it is a sort of virtual disk.
There is nothing you need do except make sure there is enough space.

However, this did not happen, and we have many PDF's which are 100% in the wrong order. So we would like to press a button and have them in the right order.

Got it to work. It returned a completely different path of course just to make life interesting and required a FN+OPTION ENTER in order to return the path. I now have the FLATTEN option in the edit menu.
Just trying it checking all the Flatten options except the fields seemed to work on the first pass. I'm going to try and load a copy of the original complete document. I assume that is the proper way to use this at this point since I created the form ***-backwards?
I've used Adobe layout programs since the Aldus days but Acrobat seems to work differently than any other program I've used.
If I understand what you're saying I should:
1. Design the layout of the form leaving spaces for the fields
2. Open Acrobat, import the document
3. Auto-add and correct, or manually add the fields
4. Fix tabbing
5. Add any additional comments or annotations
6. Flatten everything but the fields? (If the fields are flattened I can't fill out the form unless it's supposed to be a printed form only, right?)
Might just have to break down and RTFM. Acrobat is a really different animal.
