How to print out time as hr:min:sec without AM/PM?

Question

how to print out time as hr:min:sec without AM/PM
since hr specifies AM/PM. Thank you. My first thought
is that there exists a formatter to do this. My second
thought is that if not I can convert the AM/PM in the
DateFormat.MEDIUM to the right hour.
