How to print WDA component view?

Hello Experts,
I need to print a view of a WD Component view.
Can you please suggest any ways of doing the same.
Below attached is the view screenshot which is needed to printed.
The requirement is to have an additional button on the component itself, which will popup a window which would contain a PDF format of the view and some additional info regarding the same.
Please suggest some way to tackle this.

Hi Sanket,
Yes, you display that particular page in a pop up window.
Create a button "Print" in pop up window and on action, go ahead with either of below option
Option 1: print whole page using print application option ( here no need of designing it, it just prints visible area of current page, note it also prints buttons as well )
Logic:
data:
l_api_componentcontroller type ref to if_wd_component,
l_appl type ref to if_wd_application.
l_api_componentcontroller = wd_comp_controller->wd_get_api( ).
l_appl = l_api_componentcontroller->get_application( ).
l_appl->print_page( ).
Option 2: Design adobe form and call the adobe form on action of PRINT button

Did you create a component usage of the Z component in the Run time Repository ?
You can look into any of the standard fields with an F4 help for sample code..like Business Partner etc.,

Web Dynpro by default does not provide the option of printing the view content.
However still you have a round about way of doing it. Create the an html page similar to the Web Dynpro page. Store the code into a String variable.

Currently Web Dynpro Component HRRCF_C_RELEASE_PROF_UIu2019s profile status Radio Button defaults to u2018Lock Profileu2019. I need to enhance the same Web Dynpro Component HRRCF_C_RELEASE_PROF_UIu2019s profile status Radio Button defaults to u2018Release Profileu2019.
Contextu2019s attribute u2018Profile Statusu2019 points to Domain u2018RCF_PROFILE_STATUSu2019 which has the value range u20180 u2013 Lockedu2019 and u20182 u2013 Releasedu2019. Since u20180u2019 is first entry, WDC defaults to u20180u2019. I need to set u2018Profile Statusu2019 radio button to u20182 u2013 Releasedu2019.
It seems I canu2019t enhance the method u2018WDDOMODIFYVIEWu2019 of view u2018VW_RELEASE_PROFu2019.

I was able to print my month view from ical, but no longer is "month" an option. I can only see list and day. Please advise!

Just curious...about two weeks ago I was able to print my ical calendar in month view. For some reason, "month view" is no longer an option in print mode. The only two options I have are day or list. Not sure how to print in month view now or retreive that back. Please advise : )

Hi, Stella, and welcome to Apple Discussions. You can
take a snapshot of any part of your screen in any
application by typing Command-Shift-4 and then
dragging the "crosshairs" cursor diagonally across
the desired area to select it. When you release the
mouse button to stop dragging the cursor, the
snapshot will be taken and saved on your desktop as a
PDF file. Double-click it to open it in Preview or
Adobe Reader, and then Print it from within that
application.

Pls let me get a solution for my small issue..
I do have 2 components cur_component and old_component which contain 2 Views each say, cur_vew1 & cur_view2 and old_view1 & old_view2 respectively.
Now, When i click a button in cur_view1 then it should call the view - old_view1 of old_component and when i click a button in cur_view2 then it should call the view - old_view2 of old_component.
When i tried, its calling the default view of the old_component. but i want to call the views of the old_component dynamically...
hope am clear enough about my issue..

Call view of another WDA Component and pass the value to it
1) When you create your context at component controller level in component MAIN you have a property for the node which says as: "Interface Node" Just checkmark this checkbox. When you do this you would be able to share the data within your context nodes across other components.
2) Specify a default value of AA in the "Default Value" property of the attribute in component MAIN
3) Now go to your other component SUB which you would like to also get initialised. Define a usage of your component MAIN within this component.
4) Go to your component controller & create your context node & attribute with exactly the same names as how you had created in your MAIN component.
5) Do a mapping between the interface controller of your MAIN component & the component controller of your SUB component
6) You would be able to see that the appearance of the node has changed to an interface node. This means that your SUB component now has an exact replica of your MAIN components context data.

WDA Component Usage - used component's point of view

Hi folks!
Component Usage is a real nice feature of WDA. The using component knows exactly, when which other components are used.
But what about the used component's point of view:
How can a used component find out if it is currently running natively or as a used component and who is the using component?
Alternatively: How can the using component hand over initialization information (parameter) to the used component the used component has access to in component controller method DOINIT?
Background: In my scenario the used component has to "turn right" when it is used by component A and it has to "turn left" when it is used by component B and it has to go straight forward when it is running in "native" mode..

    You can implement the component usage by implementing interface method or interface node.
1. Interface method :-
   Here the using component can access methods of used component.
So in your used component you have three method for 1. TURN RIGHT 2. TURN LEFT 3. STRAIGHT
so from comp A you call TURN RIGHT
From component B you can call TURN LEFT.
Make Straight default which can run in "native" mode..
That is if you want to implement from using component's view.
2.You can take a node in your used component as interface node which must be populated by values from other component.
From your using component you can pass the required value .
Now in your used componentcontroller DOINIT method call that interface node and in the make some condition according to the value it get from using component.
But I don't think in this it can run in "native" mode.
However i dont have that much idea about whether the in used component we can keep any log like where it has been used and how.

files.
You can either create your own custom logic for saving in excel or
use BW functionality for extracting the required fields and form a

This is only a simple sales receipt application that uses dgv and textboxes to push its data to dataset to the crystal report, a simple one but there are instances that it is very slow.
But I'm having trouble implementing this using SSRS, since I'm only new to this one, wherein I created the report using report wizard, with two button options inside the form for print preview or direct print selection. Actually, it is very easy to implement
with print preview because it uses reportviewer. My problem is that how can I print the report directly without using a reportviewer?

Sounds to me more like you have the Display Performance set on Typical rather than High Quality Display. Unless there is a problem with a missing or out-of-date link, the display in ID has nothing to do with output quality -- all of the image data is used for output.
