How to profile the TimesTen Daemon process?

Hi:
I want to profile the CPU usage of Timesten server process and his child process by using a profile tool named psrun. I use the following command to do this work.
psrun -f ttDaemonAdmin -start
here , psrun is a utility to collect the CPU usage of an executeble programe, the parameter "-f" can help to monitor the child process. In fact, psrun will create a thread (say, t1) to execute ttDaemonAdmin.exe. but as we know the ttDaemonAdmin will actually to execute the "ttDaemontAdminCmd -start" to produce the "TimesTen Damon" process. this process is a real type of daemon process. So once the "TimesTen Daemon" process is created successfully, t1 will dead right now, then psrun will finish the collect work, because it is waiting for the signal from t1.So, I could not do the profile work actually.
My question is how to resolve this problem, is there any other method can help me do this work?

Simply go to the "Run" menu in flex builder.There you will find "Profile" at third number in the MinuList click it,you will redirected to the Pofiler in flex builder.

to see this characteristic in the process orden you should go to Header >> CO Classification. If you want to add a characteristic, this should be added to SAP_KKR_CLASS. Characteristics for material (001) are not the same than those for CO Classification (013), so you should develop some special report (we did some special developmet for the printing of order forms )

Perhaps you should work your original forum post:

through to a resolution before you complicate things that likely don't apply.
You make an assumption in that other post about exceeding various maximums. That may be true or it may not be true. Since the installation of a database program seems to be your actual expectation, go work that forum thread instead.

To follow up on your question are you using the maxl scripts for the dataload?
If so I have seen and issue within the batch (ex: load_data.bat) that if you do not have the full maxl script path with a batch when running it through event task scheduler the task will work but the log and/ or error file will not be created. Meaning the batch claims it ran from the task scheduler although it didn't do what you needed it to.
If you are using maxl use this as the batch
"essmsh C:\data\DataLoad.mxl" Or you can also use the full path for the maxl either way works. The only reason I would think that the maxl may then not work is if you do not have the batch updated to call on all the maxl PATH changes or if you need to update your environment variables to correct the essmsh command to work in a command prompt.

How long does the number porting process take?

Hello Everybody! I just got my iphone (witch I LOVE it by the way) but I was wondering, how long does the number porting process take?
I ported my phone number over from SprintPCS last night at around 7pm EST and right now it's 8am EST and my Palm seems to still be working... Is this normal?
I'm still receiving incoming calls to my Palm, Text messages to my Palm, but yet I can do outgoing calls from my iphone... I'm kinda confused...
I mean I received the text on my iphone from sprint telling me: "Welcome to AT&T" as well as receiving the e-mail saying my new phone number is the same one I've had for 6 years now... Is 13 hours considered normal?

If it continues to be an issue tomorrow, I would recomend calling again, and getting in contact with AT&T's porting department. They are familiar with resolving any issues that may arise.
Powering off both phones is to make sure that the old phone is not maintaining an active connection with the old carrier that can interfere with the last steps of the porting process. If at all possible its a good idea to leave the old phone powered off, and restart the new phone about once an hour so that it will resync with the towers.

Make a temporary, backup copy of your library if you don't already have one (Control-click on the library and select Duplicate from the contextual menu) and apply the fix below:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #1, followed by #3 and then #4 as needed.
After each run thru the repair process see if you can create a PDF file of the book as described in this Apple Document: iPhoto '11: Preview a book, card, or calendar before you order or print it. If you can try ordering the book. If you can't finish trying all of the otpions and then boot into Safe mode and try there.

I am looking for a descriptive short document which would ideally give me comlete picture in IDOC processing, transactions used etc.
E.g
My XI sends idocs to an RFC port of an ERP system. All I know is message type FIDCC2(found it in message mapping and under a partner profile ias imput parameter in transaction we20 for a partner profile with rfc destination of its own rfc destination i.e. PR1CLNT001)
. However in this example I do not find source code which process then this idoc(probably as it is original idoc)?

How to delegate the work flow process.

i was wondering if someone has taken a leave and he is replaced by an employee x,the work flow approval should be directly move to the employee x.
but its not the case.as when someone is one leave,the workflow does not go to his replacement to approve

By identify the replacement in leave process, workflow process doesn't route to that person. I guess that replacement field is just for data capturing only. The approver should use delegate functionality available on notification responsibility to identify which process route to which person in a given time period.

I got a alert showing defunct process are incresed to 40 by the script run_services.sh and now they are increased to 68

is spamming the defunct process
How can i terminate those defunct processes

I do have a question for deactivate the seeded worflow process. Which means the current process i am not going to use anywhere. I needed to create the new process for Seeded worflow why because this is the worflow having some standard Procedure. Those procedure only will meet my requirement. In such case i wanted to create new processes in that going to call seeded procedure.
Could you please help me out how deacivate the seeded processes from Oracle Standard workflow ( Name of the workflow is HZ USER CREATION API Workflow) Now current they are created for Customer creation processes. My requirement is need to Create the new process for User-Id creation.

The current workflow process i am not going to call anywhere.My requirement is not meet the current process.
In the same workflow i need to create new process for user_id creation. The existing workflow process is working for only customer creation. Thats why i need to deactivate the current process after that need to create new process for user-id creation. First time i am doing such kind of activities. Please guide me how to do?

The enigmatic daemon process

I read most of the entrys on daemon processes for a unix machine,
but what I am trying doesn't seem to work anyway.
I want to launch a listening server thread process that upon receiving
a connection launches a subthread to handle the session.
I want this listener to run no matter whether I logoff or not.
I tried using '&' and nohup:
java server.ResourceServer nohup &
But when I logout the threads all die.
I tried adding setDaemon(true) to the main server thread
but this also doesn't work at all.
Any other suggestions?

setDaemon(true) in Java means that the thread will not:) I overlooked that in the original posting. Have you tried the solution yet? It should work. If you using bash, it's also possible to 'disown' a process based on a PID; I would go look in bash's sources to see what happens.
I always thought that when a process has no controlling terminal, that it would keep running irrespective of whether you log off or not.

How to cancel the background job processing in ABAP programming?

I have a requirement where i need to cancel the job depending on some constraint. My code is something like this:
Select some data from the table.
if sy-subrc = 0.
Do nothing.

Cancel the job

The above code is cancelling the job but it is throwing an exception called CX_SY_DYN_CALL_PARAM_MISSING because i dint pass job count. How can we find the job count of next job that is going to run? Or How to handle the exception which it is throwing. Even if i try to handle that exception something like this:

Create an background job with 2 steps. The first step in the background job calls the program ZBACKJOB_STEP1. In the variant we have a wrong material number
If the material number is not found in Mara, the next step in the job should not get executed and the job should get cancelled..
