How to put message in JMS topic

Hello,
AnyOne can tell me how to put messages in JMS topic ?? Any sample / example available on it ?? I am using Oracle SOA 10g.

We have a jms adapter configured in BPEL process which need to poll messages from JMS topic.Unfortunately its not polling message from JMS Topic if we add Message Selector and Durable Subscriber properties in jca file.Please find jca file content below

After changing below property in jca file.JMS adapter is able to poll messages from JMS Topic.
<property name="UseMessageListener" value="false"/>
But if i un comment below line and deploy my code again, it stop pulling the messages from topic.
<property name="DurableSubscriber" value="XYZ"/>
If i bounce the server after above change and deployment ,it will start polling the message.I am not sure why i need to restart my server after adding above property.

Getting DOM Parsing Exception in translator while Dequeuing the message from JMS topic

I have an issue.
I am running on 11.1.1.5 SOA suite version on Linux.
In my aplication I have 4 projects which are connected by with topic/queue.
But in one of the communication, the JMS topic throws me the below error in the log, but dequeue happend perfectly fine and the application runs smoothly.

But when I try putting the archived data on this topic, it throws me the same error but even dequeuing doesnt happen.
I have extracted the payload and validated against the xsd, it looks fine and even the validator doesnt throw me any error.
But I guess I am missing something, which I am immediately not getting.
Please let me know, if I am soemthing here which is causing this erro.

I searched about this error, but no luck.
First time when the message dequeues, the consumer can consume the message but throws the error in the log.
But when I put the message back into queue from archive directory, the consumer doesnt consume message and throws me the same error.
Does anyone faced this sort of issue.
I checked my xsd throughly, and validated it externally. but didnt fine any error.
if anyone knows, suggest me how to resolve this issue.

I have a JMS topic and I want to expose it as a web service so that clients can
make durable subcription to the topic and receive messages asynchronously. What
is the best way of doing this ? Is there a portable (to other containers) way
of do this ? If not, is there a web logic specific way of doing this ?

So you expect clients to be receiving SOAP messages over HTTP? In this
case, the clients are really servers that are capable of servicing SOAP
requests, correct? And how about the senders: are they also using
SOAP/HTTP to send messages that are delivered to the receivers?
It should be possible to write this yourself using JMS not as the
transport, but as a mechanism for distributing the message to a set of
clients. You'll need to implement a Web Service for publishing to a
topic, an operation for registering an end point to recieve messages,
and an MDB (or other form of JMS subscriber) executing on the server to
relay the message to the end point.

How to subscribe to a JMS topic with a selector

I'd like to receive messages on a JMS topic satifying a selector.
I'm trying examples\webservices\message. The ConsumerClient
receives messages on "examples.soap.msgService.MsgSend". But if
I want to sepcify a selector, how do I do it? Thanks!

I think Mediator by default participates in a same transaction and if the webservice calls fails, it would rollback the message to queue.
I would suggest you to setup fault policy in mediator for the webservice invoke and catch the fault and do the retries or human intervention depends on your need.
Also, my personal suggestion is to use BPEL in place of ESB in this scenario as you have more persistence and fault handling capabilities in BPEL over ESB.

Get back the Message from JMS Topic

I want to Process message came to the JMS topic (say for past 10 days) in PRODUCTION environment . Is there any way i can get those messages from Persistent Store(File/JDBC).Any sugesstions????

As far as I think you can not directly read messages from persistence store without putting the message integrity at stake.
Also, do you know if the messages are actually in the persistence store? Messages will persisted by the Topic only if there is any durable subscriber is there which has not read those messages. If there are no durable subscribers or if all durable subscribers have read their copy of the message from Topic the messages will be removed from persistence storage.

Messages in JMS Topic Error destination

Hi,
I have a JMS Topic with an error destination queue configured. Now, In our scenario , there are two subscribers of topic for the same message. Suppose for a message published to topic, subscriber1 is able to processes message successfully but subscriber2 throws errors when processing the same message.
1. Once the redelivery limit is reached and subscriber2 continues to throw exception, Will the message get en queued to Error Destination (in spite of the fact that subscriber 1 has processed the same message successfully) ?
2. For a consumer (e.g MDB) listening to Error destination and consuming error messages, Is it possible to determine which topic subscriber was unable to process the message ?

Here it depends on the state of the message, if the message is visible then the message would be available for consumption, else it is not. In case the subscriber 2 failed to consume the message and the message is still visible then a retry would be made, else the message would not be retried.
In case the message is visible then the message would be move to the error queue based on the configured redelivery attempts.
Additionally, an MDB can find the destination using the getJMSDestination() call. But as per my understanding we will only be able to get the name of the last destination which in this case would be error queue:

Exception while putting messages on JMS Qeue through ODI

CASE:
We have two seperate Unix Machines.
Installations on Machine1:
1.) Weblogic 10.3.5
2.) OID (Oracle Internet Directory) installed on weblogic.
3.) JMS Server installed on weblogic.
4.) JMS Queues on weblogic.
Installations on Machine 2:
1.) Weblogic 10.3.5
2.) Oracle Data Integrator Server on weblogic (NOTE: ODI Version is 11.1.1.5)
3.) ODI Java EE Agent deployed on ODI Server.
JMS Queue Data Server is configured in ODI (Machine 2), which sends and receives Messages on JMS Queues (Machine 1).
While connecting JMS Queue on Machine 1 through ODI Java Agent (OracleDIAgent), it connects for the first time but fails while making successive connections
to Queue. And also then all other ODI data servers connections (i.e. Java EE Agent, Oracle Data Servers, JMS Queue) through Java EE Agent fails with the following exception:
ODI-3034:Test connection failed due to ODI-1274: Agent Exception Caused by: Create DwgConnectConnection to master repository failed; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: Pool connect failed : java.lang.SecurityException: [Security:090398]Invalid Subject: principals=[weblogic, Administrators].
Kindly help me out in resolving the issue.

How to put messages back on the server

by accident, I set up an account that deleted received messages from teh server. I believe that I set this up as a pop account. Is it possible to put messages back on the server? I couldn't see an option for this and it is important that I be able to check these messages via webmail.

Before doing anything, I encourage you to make a backup copy of the entire ~/Library/Mail folder, in case something goes wrong (quit Mail first). You can do this in the Finder by dragging the folder to the Desktop while holding the Option (Alt) key down, for example. This is where all your mail is stored.
You cannot have two accounts of the same type in Mail with the same username and incoming mail server. You can, however, set up two mail accounts with the same username and incoming mail server IF the account type is different.
That is, if you really did set up this account as POP, you can set it up also as IMAP in Mail without deleting the POP account first. You should, however, disable Preferences > Accounts > Advanced > Include when automatically checking for new mail (but keep Enable this account checked) for the POP account, to avoid it interfering with the IMAP account. You can then move any messages to the mailboxes of the IMAP account where you want them to be.
EDITED: The above assumes that the provider of this account allows you to access it as either POP or IMAP, and that you chose POP by mistake. If POP is your only option and the mistake is just that the account was configured to remove messages from the server when in fact you didn't want to do that, then that's a different problem...
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user's home folder, i.e. ~/Library is the Library folder within the user's home folder.

EMCC 12c gets down to the JMS message queue/topic level in regards to the metrics being collected. It doesn't provide a view into the actual messages themselves. Are you trying to capture/track messages with a particular payload?

How to edit message in a topic question

Just as subject says. I have posted in the forums in the past and I thought I was able to go back to a posted topic and edit the message if done within a 15min period or so.
Other question, How come apple did not recognize my ID and stated that I did not have one, so I had to register again.

i am using Spring JMS. The JMS Queue has a listener. In the listener we want to clear the Queue contents based upon the condition.

How to Read Message from JMS Queue using Business Service(ALSB3.0)

My Project Set up is as follows(using ALSB3.0).
1>One Proxy Service with transport as HTTP.
2>The Proxy service is calling another Business Service.
3>The Business Service has transport layer as JMS.
So here the business service is posting Request Message into the JMS queue.
I want at the same time it(The Business Service) should listen to another queue and from there it should read Response Message and forward back to the caller proxy service.
Can any one help me regarding this...

i want to browse a xml message from a JMS queue(in Weblogic 8.1) as a ByteMessage instance and then need to put it into byte array .
Then i want to read each byte by byte from that array.
Can any one please help me to solve it.
