How to put more than 1200 characters in a text form within a pdf created in Adobe Acrobat
I need to know how to put more than 1200 characters in a text form within a pdf created in Adobe Acrobat. I have a request from a customer to do so and after googling I have came up with nothing. Also the customer would like it if they could convert said pdf form to a microsoft word document with the text form.
There's no limit on the number of characters you can enter into a text
field, unless you set it as such.

How to display more than 132 characters in a smartform
Hi Experts,
I am reading notes/text entries by calling read_text and then passing them in a variable. I want to display the notes. But even after declaring the variable as LINE2048, it is displaying only 255characters as output length in smartform.
My code:
TYPES: BEGIN OF TYP_FINAL,
PARTNER_NO TYPE BU_PARTNER, "Partner No.
OBJECT_ID TYPE CRMT_OBJECT_ID_DB, "Object ID
PROCESS_TYPE TYPE CRMT_PROCESS_TYPE, "Activity Type
ACTUAL_NOTE TYPE LINE2048, "Actual Notes
END OF TYP_FINAL.
data : T_FINAL TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF TYP_FINAL,
WA_FINAL TYPE TYP_FINAL.
data: v_actualnote TYPE LINE2048.
CALL FUNCTION 'READ_TEXT'
EXPORTING
CLIENT = SY-MANDT
ID = C_0002
LANGUAGE = sy-langu
NAME = l_name1
OBJECT = C_BUT000
TABLES
LINES = t_line
EXCEPTIONS
ID = 1
LANGUAGE = 2
IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
clear: v_accountnote.
LOOP AT T_LINE INTO WA_LINE.
CONCATENATE v_accountnote wa_line INTO v_accountnote SEPARATED BY space.
clear: wa_line.
ENDLOOP.
wa_final-account_note = v_accountnote.
clear: v_accountnote.
ENDIF.
On the smartformm side, under main window->loop->text(to display the variables).
How to display more than 255 characters in a smartform.
Regards,
Sangeeta.why the heck would you use read_text when you want to print a text/note on a form?
in SAP-Script we use the "INCLUDE"-Statement for this.
and in smartforms a Text-node of type 'I'.
you can not write all in one line and expect the system to handle this like a floating text.
one character takes a cretain amount of space (varying for different characters and font and font sizes).
you Page has a certain width, so where is the miracle in the thesis that on a sheet of paper with a certain width just a certain amount of characters will fit? -
How to accomodate more than 255 characters in character field
HI All
i need to accomodate more than 255 characters in character field. How can i do that ?
thanks in advance!!!Hi,
You can try the following things:
1. Use a datatype STRING and check it will work.
2. In se11 transaction goto datatype and search for char* in data elements.
You will find predefined data types ,you can make use of it.
For eg. char2000,char3000,char4000 etc.
Hope this will help.

How to enter more than 132 characters in a Parameters Field

I have a field of type file_table-filename as Parameters in my Selection-screen. The size of the filename is 1024 characters as declared in the structure file_table. Even in debugging mode the maximum value we can scroll is upto 128/132 characters..if we want more then we should use the Offset option...but how to enter more than 132 chars into this field?
Best regards,

More than 160 characters in each text message
I don't get why Verizon made the switch for every other phone to be able to text more than 160 characters, but not for blackberrys.....
BlackBerry Messenger has more than 160 characters. Unlimited, maybe??? On my BB, two or three texts in a row show all together like one text. Do yourself and others a favor and either learn some texting shorthand, or learn how to get to the point. long texts are very annoying. SMS stands for Short Messaging Service. I try to remember that when I text. In my personal experience, I say wat too much whenever I send long texts. And once its sent, there's no taking it back!

How to show more than one report in a same Form
Dear all,
I have develop many reports with CrystaReport XI and I'm using the CrystalReportViewer to show each of them in VB6. My Question is: Can I show more than one report in a Viewer? if i need to show the report1.rpt and report2.rpt in a same window how can I do it?
Sérgio Salazar - Brazilian VB developerI once had a project which involved alot of reports and on my mind I had the same idea; to display all reports with only one crviewer but was not able to. Instead what Idid was to create say 10 forms with a viewer on each and if the user wanted to produce extra reports, they had to close some of them. This worked out for me.

Help!! How to put more than one JComponent on one JFrame
Hi!
I'm having a big problem. I'm trying to create an animation that is composed of various images. In one JComponent I have an animation of a sprite moving left and right on the screen(Which works right now). On another JComponent I have a still image that I want to put somewhere on the screen. For some reason I can only see what I add last to the JFrame. Can somebody help me? Thanks
P.S I don't want to have all the images on the same JComponent. I want to have different classes for different images or animations. You can get the sprites I use from here http://www.flickr.com/photos/59719950@N00/

How to put more than 1000 values into an Oracle IN clause
Is there any way to get around the Oracle 10g limitation of 1000 items in a static IN clause? I have a comma delimited list of many of IDs that I want to use in an IN clause, Most of the times values may exceed 5000. And I don't have privileges to create a temporary table, so that I can put all those in that and run at a time.
Thanks
SreenivasAlthough the trick of using OR would likely work, why don't you use a dynamic collection on the right-hand-side of the where in clause?
This thread has details Re: Binding collection to right-hand-side of WHERE num_col in (:1) clause?
Binding a VArray is not super easy, but at least with a bind value (the collection), you can have a single prepared statement, and vary just the collection you pass in. --DD -

How to connect more than one oracle databases in single form?
Hi,
I have installed Oracle database in three different servers with different users, but the table's structure are same in all three different database users.
Now in one D2K form i want to connect and access, all three different database users at a time.
If anybody know answer for this please replay.
My mail Id: [email protected]
Regards
MahaveerYou can access other databases/schemas by means of the built-in-package EXEC_SQL. See online help in Forms Builder, especially EXEC_SQL.Open_Connection, EXEC_SQL.Open_Cursor, EXEC_SQL.Fetch_Rows, ...
If you want to base your blocks on several database connections at the same time, you should write your own on-select, on-fetch, on-lock, ... triggers, I suppose.

Sequences - Test Organzer: How to move more than 1 test case at a time
Hello,
I would like to be able to move multiple test cases within a sequence but I do not know how. If I highlight multiple rows and select Move Test Case only 1 of the rows will move. This is fine if your test package only has a few transactions but if you have many it becomes very time consuming.
Does anyone know how to move more than one test case at a time within a sequence?
Regards,
Corinne TaylorHi Corinne,
Actually I do not have any solution for that either. I am also only able to move the test cases one by one, which indeed can become very time consuming. There I have a small question to you: when I am in the web-based application to change the sequence of the test cases, everything goes really slow. Selecting the test package in the browser, going to change mode, selecting the test cases, creating a test sequence...it all takes time before I can continue. Is it the same with you? Else I will need to look at what is going wrong on our side.
Thanks and best regards,
Kristof
