How can i query with remote MP for SMS provider or site server location with vbscript.
I am trying to connect to SMS provider from task sequence for updating some data in WMI class instance.

No, it's not. You have to connect to the site server which will return the location of the provider.

How to query dictionary for the following

Hi,
I have oracle 10g installed on linux box.
i am going to security issues.
so i need to find out certain things like the following:
1.list of users who have dba priviliges.
2.what are the roles created by any user and who have been assigned those roles.
3.who has DML privileges for some particular tables
4.who has permissions to create objects, users, tablespaces, etc
5.who has execute privileges for some procedures, functions
these are the few things i could guess for now.
if there are any other dictionary tables that will be useful for administration please let me know.

1. OTB, certain system privileges are collected in the role DBA. You can query dba_role_privs to see who has that role granted. However, some shops, like ours, do not ever grant that role. Instead we create our own roles with the appropriate system privileges for each level or type of dba.
2. You cannot tell who created a particular role. You can tell who is currently granted that role by querying dba_role_privs.
3. Query dba_tab_privs. You may have to drill down through roles to find out the actual user, however.
4. Query dba_sys_privs for any privilege that begins CREATE. You may have to drill down through roles to find out the actual user, however.

In this case when I press the key to call other forms I need to wait for the response in the secondary form and then process the result.That is exactly what a "modal JDialog" (or JOptionPane) are used for.

Also when I tried to update my MYSQL connector / J driver to version 5.1.5 from 5.0.5 (NB 5.5.1) and 5.0.7 (NB 6.1), I could not get it work (looooong time to search some JDBC classes and with no response in the end) on both of my Netbean 5.5.1(on PC) and Netbean 6.1(on laptop) IDEs.
Could anybody look into this issue.

How to create query for infoprovider ? I have selection criteria, calculation and result screen for queries taken from one reference query. I am new to this part so dont know which transaction we will use to create query. Is it APO part or BI/BW part ?

I have to create queries for info provider. I have one reference query. I have to create similar selection screen as that of reference query for new query. Calculation which needs to be included in query is provided also result screen for query is given.

Looking for a simple example of how to query all the accounts

I'm new to the web service model in oracle crm and have been trying to just get a list of the accounts in the system. I generated a .cs class from the account wsdl and added it to my asp.net project. I'm able to get a handle on the account class but not sure the right syntax to make a call out.. As a fyi - i also have been able to login thru the service and obtain a session id.. so I'm that far..
Are they any existing code examples on how to query this? This is what I have so far but i throws an exception -

On the right is my line of code. The ListOfAccount member of AccountQueryPage_Input has datatype ListOfAccountQuery. In my case, a NULL is returned after the call.

Bex statics tables would be 'RSDDSTATHEADER','RSDDSTATINFO' & 'RSDDSTATEVDATA'. all these can found in one view 'RSDDSTAT_OLAP'.
above can give historical statistic.
For current Query statics : T-code RSRT, and select debug mode select display statistics and then execute.
Once you get the output press F3(one step back), there you can see statics of the query for that particular execution.

I have Sap 5.0 version, i am trying to assagin tcode for Query , but it's through an error as no blank speace . But the same i did in 4.7c vresion i am getting any error pls help how to assaign Tcode for ABAp query.

How to search in BI 7.1 query designer for the required key figures & chars

Hi All,
Can anyone plz tell me how to search in BI 7.1 query designer for the required key figures & characteristics. I have the query being built on a multiprovider which has many cubes.
So, i have a huge list of key figures and characteristics. I am not able to search for the required one by the name or the technical name.
How can we search and pick the required object from the enormous list of the Mutliprovider in the Bex Query Designer??

There is not a search feature available. You have to do an educated guess under what dimension your infoobject could be and select.
