How to rate and give review for the product in SharePoint Contoso demo site by the customer/user from publishing site?

Hi,
I am new to SharePoint, and am working on Contoso demo site.
I want to know where to give star rating and review for the product in SharePoint Contoso demo site. Even after spending enough hours i didn't find solution for this problem. All the answers i got was changing the List/Library settings -> Rating settings,
if i follow that, i get the rating column displayed in my catalog site. How can i bring it on my publishing site and let the customers give rating or review for the product from publishing site. Is there any OOTB feature in sharepoint or it shoul be customized.

Are you using the Content Search Web Part? Just tweaking that once the source library has had the rating column applied should work. Have you tried this?

i am using model 1 architecture in my application.
in my application ,if one user login through 2 browser at a time ,he can do it.
But now ,i want to close first browser or redirect him to a exception page.
plz guide me how can i do it.
plz include case1.
what happen if he close page ,not logoff

what happen if power cut happen on client side.

+You can use a column in the table to check the current user logged in status. Once the user gets logged in the application change the flag at the backend. In this way you can know whether the user is already logged in the apllication or not, and based on this you can show a proper message to the user.+

Well not the right approach Listeners would it for you.For browser closure problem.If user does that automatically container destroys the session object as per configured session-timeout.

Problem 1:
Try to a write an implementation of sessionListener / sessionAttributeListener (for having a check on user loggins and apply a global filter which checks available users who have already logged in)

Use Two out put condition type for two deffferent partner functions.Maintain Out put condition records also for the same.
system wile give you two out put with two output types for the same invoice
Example:
Sold to party:X1
Payer:Y1
Maintain Out put Types
ZSOL for sold to party and
ZPAY for Payer
condition records for ZSOL for sold to party and ZPAY for Payer

Display a checkbox , customer number on the basic list and also set a GUI STATUS on the basic list.....
Select the customer by checking the checkbox and click on the button you create in the GUI status....
Write the desired code to be displayed in
AT USER-COMMAND even checking the sy-ucomm....
so this would make you to into interactive list...

Changed Ulimits values for the Oracle user and getting error -bash: ulimit: max user processes: cannot modify limit: Operation not permitted when logging in.

I'm trying to increate the ulimits for max user processes and open files for the oracle user. I've set the values in limits.conf, /etc/profile and in oracle's environment scripts. Now when I log in as oracle I get the below errors. If I change the ulimits back to the original values errors go away but ulimits aren't changed.

I modified the /etc/security/limits.d/90-nproc.conf and added a line for oracle and also modifed the oracle.sh file. The ulimits are setting correctly when I su - oracle but they are still wrong when sshing in as oracle.

does anyone know how to pick up valid pricelist for the customer?
I mean I need to take the valid pricelist for customer... I have this information:
KNA1-KUNNR Customer Number 1
T189-PLTYP Price list type
MARA-MATNR Material nr
BSEG-BELNR Invoice nr
KONH-KNUMH Number of suplier
and now I need to take pricelist in order to use this pricelist for preparing invoice to customer...
As I know rates for materials are stored in KONP... but how to connect this yable with pricelist...?

Login to the app store with YOUR ID. You can't use the app store without an Apple ID. If there are apps on the phone that were purchased with the original owners ID, you do NOT own them. The owner had no legal right to give them to you and they are permanently tied to the ID that was used to purchase them.

Why would you like to collect information about locks and let me tell you, you cannot collect information about ALL locks which were taken and even thinking about it is pointless.
Coming to blocking if you have heavy system with huge concurrency there is bound to be blocking which is necessary and good for RDBMS but if the blocking remains for long time then this is a issue.
There is DMV sys.dm_tran_locks which tell you what all locks are being taken. You can see various examples mentioned in DMV online documentation and can schedule the query to run every 5
mins and insert its record in table which you can refer at end of the day.
This task would be made very easy if you have Monitoring tool which gives you information in your mail every time blocking occurs I have Spotlight in my environment.

Requirements for iPhone 5:
Syncing with iTunes on a Mac or PC requires:
Mac: OS X v10.6.8 or later
PC: Windows 7; Windows Vista; or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 3 or later
iTunes 10.7 or later
The highest version of iTunes you can install is 10.6.3 which will not sync with the iPhone 5.

After a system crash your Aperture Library may be corrupted, because Aperture may not have been able to finish the ongoing database transactions.
Have you tried the Aperture Library First Aid Tools?
Aperture 3 User Manual: Repairing and Rebuilding Your Aperture Library
Try "Repair Database", and if this does not help: "Rebuild Database"

How do I determine the format of the color image, I'm guessing it's Illustrator's formatting but I don't know. How can I find out if Illustrator will open the file and allow alterations? The image opens only in Apple's Pages software?

It seems that all you have is a raster image, presumable PNG24 or JPEG, in RGB.
It may have been created as raster artwork in Photoshop, or it may have been created as vector artwork with the help of Illy, or as a mixture of vector and raster artwork in either application, or both combined.
If you just need to have a raster representation in black and white based on the current colour image, you may try this, in a new RGB document (View>Smart Guides are your friends):
1) File>Place the image (you may tick Link or untick and have it embedded);
2) Create a rectangle with black fill (R = G = B = 0), at least as large as the image, and place it behind the image (you may ClickDrag with the Rectangle Tool between opposite corners, then Ctrl/Cmd+X+B);
3) Select all and in the Transparnecy palette flyout click Make Opacity Mask with both Clip and Invert Mask ticked.
