HELLO ALL
I have a dynamically generated table which is filled with values
from a Bean. The next step is to select a row in that table by
clicking on a check box. The problem is that i want to read 3
values from the selected row. I can get the value from the checkbox
button but i always get the values from the first line in the
table. Is there someway to select an entire row and submit in in
the request so i can read the values from the selected row?

Yes,
but the checkbox values are printing rightly.I mean if user checks 1,5 rowed checkbox in next jsp printing 1 and 3.But the rowed values are printing sequence manner,not the chcked ones.

In EP, one of the page we are getting out put in the table format. It's working fine, but as per the new requirement we have to fix (freeze) the first row of the table. (.i.e. whenever I click the page down button first row should be visible in the table). Can you help regarding the above issue?
For Example: in Table having 6 rows. In 1st row display Year Month and 2,3,4---etc Rows will display Quantity. Click on Page down Button in Table we are able to staring 2row. First was a movie up. So End user canu2019t find which year/moth under the Quantity is available.
So I have to fix in 1st row. Click on page down button table 1st row is fixed but comes to another Quantity Records.

I don't think there is direct availabe method available to fix the row. However, there are two ways using which you can achieve the requirement:
To go ahead with the custom table. This way you can set your own properties for the table. However, this may impact performance handling large data.
Second option is to use other features of NW04s (Not available in NW04) like Table Popins using which you can achieve something similar.

How to set the current row in table automatically when tabout from one row to next row

I'm using jdev 11.1.2.0.0
How can we set the row(in which row focus is) as current row in the table?
If we create a table with single row selection, then whichever row we select, that row becomes current row because of the selection listener(#{bindings.xxvo.collectionModel.makeCurrent}).
Then if we do tabout from one component to another component in table and moved to next row, then the focus would be on another row .
when focus is shifted from one row to another row, then how can we make the focused row as current row or selected row.
Any suggestion would we appreciated

How to read the field value from Table Control

I am creating my first Table Control Screen. Basically I have to create a screen (102) with a table control which has 2 fields: A_QTY, B_QTY and 2 Buttons: SAVE, EXIT.
When Clicked on 'SAVE' the data (MATNR) from a previous screen (101) and the data (A_QTY, B_QTY) from the new screen (102) should be saved into a Z-table.
Internal table t_data has 3 fields.
MATNR
A_QTY
B_QTY.
Table Control TC_RACK was declared like this:
controls tc_rack type tableview using screen 0102.
I/0 Fields:
A_QTY type ZQTY.
B_QTY type ZQTY.
The screen Flow Logic:
process before output.

You should use
DATA: lv_name(30) TYPE c.
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <QTY> type ZQTY.
GET CURSOR FIELD lv_name. "Get the field name in table control
check sy-subrc = 0.
assign (lv_name) to <QTY>. "Here you get the value in <QTY>
check sy-subrc = 0.
Also use <your table control>-current_line to get the table index uo're currently on.
Hint: Do not use GET CURSOR LINE if you want to get table index since this gives you the line relative to dialog screen

How to read the configuration of tree table from the variant of Personalization of the Tree UIBB?

Hi Experts !
I have created an application using Tree UIBB to display the list output along with personalization property. The user can save the settings of the output table such as shuffling of column position and hiding / display of columns in the variant.
The export to excel button gives the output as per the current variant but I need to develop a custom export to excel button, on action of which I need to read the currently selected variant and the visble columns from the variant.
I found that CL_FPM_TREE_ASSISTANCE gets the variant and columns from the personalization object, however, I am unable utilize it in my custom code.
Please help or suggest any class which I can utilize.

We too encountered this problem in EP 6.0. The code is correct. Actually
int index=wdContext.nodeSales_Orders1().getLeadSelection();
is enough.
But this is not the problem. It is the problem with either browser or Portal Runtime.
Is your version EP 6.0? Is this a problem for all tables or only this table? Check with other browsers like Mozilla..(or different IE versions).

How to read the particular line in a file !!!

i want to read the 5th , 8th or some other line number of the file. This file is consists of many data arranged by line number. I'm able to retrieve the LineNumber of the file but i'm not able to point the curser to that particular line so it can read that line only.
i'm pointing the cursor to that particular linenumber as in.setLineNumber(5) it moves to that particular line but after that when i try to read that particular line i'm not able to read that line.
could any one tell me which is the other way to read that particular line or in this only where i'm doing wrong...

I've this issue with the web dynpro. I have a Adaptive Webservice Model in web dynpro. And I have three tables in the UI. When a row is selected in the first table, the second table is populated with the appropriate data (using a method in the web service.) the same applies to the third table, when the a row is selected in the second table, the third table has to be populated with the appropriate data. The methods in the web service are all working fine. However, in web dynpro, I am not able to figure out on how I read the selected row in a table. Any information on how to resolve this would be really really helpful.

I didnt clearly understood your problem. When you are selecting a particular row in a table you are executing a web service named Get Mail. Are you passing any input parameter(any selected row data) while executing a web service. And when you get the response node where you have a attribute in the node getmail. Am I right.
If this is the case, then first check if the GetMail node is present or not by comparing it will null or checking its size. If the node is null then you will not get attribute as the element itself is null as nothing is retrieved in response. And if the node is not null then the element at 0th position is selected by default. you can retreieve the attribute by directly using the following code
if(wdContext.nodeGetMail() !=null)
String profileId= wdContext.currentGetMailElement().getProfileID();
Check if this works for you.

How to edit a particular row (except the Primary keys) after selecting it in the TABLE CONTROL when a

editable mode after clicking "Modify" Push button.

Thanks a ton.
Its working fine...sorry for the late reply.
The reason behind the delay is because i had modified my code as per your logic it worked fine but the thing is that the whole column was in editable mode but not a single row.
For E.g If i want to edit a particular row, first i select the row and then click on "Modify" button. After i click on the button, the whole column gets in a editable mode including the one which i intentionally selected.
Here, the solution is that you have to set a flag in PBO so that once it is done with PBO then it need not come back again after we click on "Modify" button.
And one more query is that after you modify a particular row in the table control ( When it is in editable mode) and click on the "Save" button, it is not getting updated to database.
To update the database, we need to select the row once again after modifying it and click on the "Save" button.
Here, database is updating only when it is selected again. If it is not selected, it is not getting updated.
If you have any alternative solution, then please help me out.( I hope i am clear with the question.)

How to delete the committed row from a table from its VOImpl class ??

I am new to ADF and I have problem to solve. To perform roll back I am using fetching key before roll back and setting it after undo operation, so that I can stay back in the currently selected row. But in my case I am using application model commit for one LOV attribute selection in the row. So when ever I am performing roll back operation after inserting a row, the values other than this committed LOV attribute gets roll backed, but I need remove the entire row from table. Does there any option to remove a row based on the attribute values of a row from VO's row implementation or from bean class in a performance optimized way ?

Can you please be a bit more clear as to how you intend to delete the rows from your ALV? By the way deleting rows from an ALV is no different from deleting rows from a normal table. Suppose you have enabled selection property in ALV & then select multiple rows and click up on a button to delete the rows then below would be the coding: (Also keep in mind that you would have to maintain the Selection property of the context node that you are binding to your ALV to 0..n)
