How to realize such transform,somebody help me please

hi all
i have a table T1(pk--CourseNo) with the values :

CourseNo DeptNo
01 001,002,003
02 003,004
03 012
==================================
now i want to read out the values from T1 and load them into table T2(pk--(CourseNo,DeptNo)):
==================================
CourseNo DeptNo xxx xxx
01 001
01 002
01 003
02 003
02 004
03 012
==================================
somebody tell me how can i realize this in owb,thanks a lot !

Assuming the number of values in T1.DeptNo is finite, the following would work. I have niot tried it myself yet, so you will be a pioneer!
OWB has a Pivot operator, that turns columns into rows. Read more on it in User's Guide. In you scenario, you would have to do one step before and one after however.
1. The source table T1 connects to Expression operator. It uses SUBSTR and INSTR functions for each output attribute, to get the substring before first comma, second comma, etc. This will get you structure like:
CourseNo DeptNo1 DeptNo2 DeptNo3
01 001 002 003
02 003 004 null
03 012 null null
2. The Expression operator connects to Pivot operator.
The output of Pivot operator will be:
CourseNo DeptNo
01 001
01 002
01 003
02 003
02 004
02 null
03 012
03 null
03 null
3. Pivot operator connects to Filter operator that removes rows where DeptNo is null, so you get the final output as you specified.
