How to redirect or deactivate 58080 port

We are using Sun One IS 6.0 SP1
During configuration, we turn on SSL and create a new secure port (58081) using HttpServerAdmin utility.
Now we are being asked to redirect the unsecure port (58080) to the secure port. At least, to deactivate/delete the unsecure port.
Does someone know how to programmatically redirect 58080->58081? Via the Web app console?
Does someone know how to programmatically delete 58080? I tried "HttpServerAdmin delete ..." but get error "Cannot Delete. Socket is in use" although it does not seem to be the case (as per netstat -an).

hiii
you can do it by following syntax
SET PF-STATUS <stat> [EXCLUDING <f>|<itab>]
                     [OF PROGRAM <prog>]
                     [IMMEDIATELY].
also refer to following example given in link
SET PF--STATUS USING EXCLUDING

    HELP

    Hi,
    Sorry, my Tosh A100 has a Geforce 7600, I don't know what your GA is.
    But on mine I have a NVidia Control Panel, where I can configure dualview,
    which normally lets me choose between the builtin LCD and the extern monitor (VGA-Port).
    When a TV is connected and not recognized, I can enforce recognition there.
    On the next start of the panel, the TV is then available too.
    Perhaps I could help you.
    If not, note that with windows settings your TV will not be available.

  • How to find out on wich port BI Publisher is running?

    Hello,
    I have the following situation: Windows XP, Oracle Database 10.2.0.3, APEX 3.0, Application Server 10.1.3.1 (Advanced, J2EE-Server and Web-Server) and Oracle BI Publisher 10.1.3.2.1 (Advanced, Setup-Type Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher).
    The HTTP-Server and BI Publisher are running.
    Now I want to configure APEX for PDF-printing. How I can find out the port on wich BI Publisher is running?
    I need it for the attribut "Print Server Port" in APEX Instance settings.
    Thanks and regards,
    Susanne

    Hi Susanne,
    I think the default port for BI Publisher is 9704
    There are a couple of things you can do to find the port that BI Publisher is running on. The easiest is to navigate Start -> All Programs -> Oracle - BIPHome1 -> BI Publisher Server.
    This will bring up the homepage for BI Publisher in a web browser. The url for this page will contain the port for BI Publisher: http://localhost:9704/xmlpserver.
    The other way is to open a dos prompt and type netstat -abThis will show you all ports and the applications running on them. BI Publisher will be one of the ones with java.exe running.
    I hope this helps.

  • How to enter a range of ports in the firewall

    Does anyone know the syntax of how to enter a range of ports in the firewall so I don't have to enter each individual number?
    For instance, to open port 15000 to 15264, is it possible to type something like "15000 - 15264" instead each port followed by a comma?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    In Tiger it is the same as the comma and dashes thing I listed for some routers.
    You can also click the Edit button in that pic I posted and look at which ports are listed (they will be greyed out on the Preset ones)
    Windows Sharing should list the SMB ports and the Printing ports.
    EDIT:
    Actually on this page where I listed how to set up iChat - SMB is a separate line.
    (Printing sharing may also list the Windows Print Sharing port)
    If those don't cover the Windows app you want to communicate with you will have to make your own Entry Like the Edit link I just inserted)

  • [Forum FAQ] How to tell if the DAC port is automatically changed or not

    Introduction
    Per Books Online:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms189595.aspx
    SQL Server listens for the DAC on TCP port 1434 if available or a TCP port dynamically assigned upon Database Engine startup.
    Also, we can go to the following registry to specify the DAC port number manually:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQLServer\SuperSocketNetLib\AdminConnection\Tcp
    The error log contains the port number the DAC is listening on. Besides looking at the error log, how to find which port is used by DAC connection and how to tell if the DAC port is manually set by us or assigned automatically by SQL Server?
    Solution
    The following query can be used to check if there is an existing DAC connection and it also give us the port number used by dedicated admin connection.
    SELECT name,local_tcp_port FROM sys.dm_exec_connections ec
    join sys.endpoints e
    on (ec.endpoint_id=e.endpoint_id)
    WHERE e.name='Dedicated Admin Connection'
    Here is the scenario to test if the DAC port is automatically changed or not.
    There are two instances are running on one server. I specified the same DAC port number 5555 for the two SQL Server instances by modifying the registry
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQLServer\SuperSocketNetLib\AdminConnection\Tcp
    Opened the DAC connection to instance 1. Executed the above query, it returns the result:
    name
    local_tcp_port
    Dedicated Admin Connection               5555
    Then, opened a DAC connection to instance 2. It throw out the following error message:
    Sqlcmd: Error: Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 11.0 : Client unable to establish connection because an error was encountered during handshakes before login.
    Common causes include client attempting to connect to an unsupported version of SQL Server, server too busy to accept new connections or a resource limitation (memory or maximum allowed connections) on the server..
    Sqlcmd: Error: Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 11.0 : TCP Provider: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine..
    Sqlcmd: Error: Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 11.0 : Client unable to establish connection.
    Sqlcmd: Error: Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 11.0 : Client unable to establish connection due to prelogin failure.
    The above error message was thrown out because the DAC port number 5555 was not available for instance 2 which was occupying by instance 1. After restarting the SQL Server engine service of instance 2, if checking in the registry, you would see a new DAC port
    number has been assigned to the second instance.
    Then, the DAC connection to instance 2 succeed this time and executed the above query, it returned the same port number which is same as the one in the registry key and the port number was assigned automatically.
    DAC port will not change even SQL Server service is restarted only if the TCP port is available.

  • How to redirect to different page after login in APEX 4.1

    Dear All,
    Here my Requirement is,When the users login,
    when they entered their username and password and pressed login button,
    they have to redirected to different pages based on the type of user.
    Here my LOGIN_TABLE has following 3 columns,
    1.Username
    2.Password
    3.Type.
    The TYPE has 2 values, employee and admin.
    when the type is admin they should be redirected to page 2,
    reaining i.e employee users has to be redirected to page 3.
    How can I do this? please give some suggestion.
    Thank you.
    regards,
    Gurujothi

    Dear Christian,
    Thank you for your reply,
    I would like to explain something,
    When I using the following function,
    *create or replace FUNCTION custom_auth_g (
    p_username IN VARCHAR2,
    p_password IN VARCHAR2)
    RETURN BOOLEAN IS
    BEGIN
    FOR c1 IN (SELECT 1

    AND upper(password) = upper(p_password))
    LOOP
    RETURN TRUE;
    END LOOP;
    RETURN FALSE;
    END;*
    When login, It checks in the login_table table and if the username is exist with the pass word it successfully entered inside the application.
    for all users only one page which we set.
    My Login_table also contains type which has 2 type as I mentined above.
    But As I mentioned earliar based on the user type it has to be redirected to 2 different page.

    The iphone is a "plug and play" device.  It is safe to unplug it without "ejecting it".  If you want to be sure it is safe open itunes and under devices next to your iphone you should see the eject symbol like a line with an up arrow above it, click that.  Once you no longer see the iphone listed under devices it'll be safe to remove.

  • How to display swf in full screen mode and how to redirect to a url

    Hi,
    I have 2 questions :
    Question 1 - I have a flash swf file and I want to display it in the browser in full mode meaning it should fit the browser, I have tried adding
    fscommand("fullscreen", "true");
    in the first frame of a lyaer but it does not work.
    Question 2 - How to redirect to another page at the end of the swf movie, I have tried adding :
    stop();
    navigateToURL( new URLRequest("*www.microsoft.com*"), "_self");
    in the last frame but it does not work.
    Thank you very very much for your assitance !!
    Terry

    "fscommand("fullscreen", "true");" only works for self-running executables, not embedded SWFs in a web page.
    To get the swf to fill the browser page, the best thing to do would be to adjust the publish settings of the "HTML Wrapper" page and copy the necessary pieces from the resultant HTML file into the HTML file you are putting the swf into.
    I have had some successes dealing with similar navigation issues by breaking up the code into multiple tasks:
    var url:String = "http://www.microsoft.com";
    var urlReq:URLRequest = new URLRequest(url);
    navigateToURL(urlReq);
    I can't guarantee that will help, but at least I tried.  :-)

  • How to redirect to other page in a dialogListener?

    Hi All,
    I am using JDeveloper 11g with ADF BC.
    How to redirect to another page from a dialogListener of <af:dialog>?
    I have a page with a [Delete] button on it. When user click on the delete button, a confirmation dialog will appear to ask "Are you sure? [Yes/No]". If user answer [Yes], I will delete the current record, and go to another page. I can call a Operation Binding in the dialogListener, but I don't know how to go to another page.
    public void handleDeleteDialog(DialogEvent dialogEvent) {
    OperationBinding operationBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding("Delete");
    Object result = operationBinding.execute();
    if (!operationBinding.getErrors().isEmpty()) {

    Regards,

    Hi Samson,
    Check following link for your query:-
    Re: page has to navigate to the next page when  clicking button in the popup
    You can also make usae of Navigation Handler to invoke the navigation action in your task flow as
    FacesContext facesCtx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    NavigationHandler nh = facesCtx.getApplication().getNavigationHandler();
    nh.handleNavigation(facesCtx, "", "ActionNameInTaskFlow");

    How to redirect the users on InfoView logoff to a custom page, instead of the default logon.aspx.

    Hello Senana,
    Assuming you're using wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login to log in, and p_flow_page is set to "[your app id]:1" try placing the following line just before your call to wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login:
    :FSP_AFTER_LOGIN_URL := null;This should force user to page 1 after log-in.

    Hello!
    I am quite new to JSP. I have a question about how to redirect a jsp page after the session is killed. Could anyone help?
    thanks a lot in advance!

    You can't, directly. There's no connection betweenthe server and browser.
    even after invalidating the session. we can do it
    directly using the statement
    response.sendRedirect("....");
    or we can use the meta refresh tag.if session is invalidated and if we try to do response.sendRedirect(".. ") it throws IllegalStateException
