How to reduce materials codification with their property like length, Dia, type etc

Hello Experts
Please help me to map client requirement in SAP.
I am sap mm consultant and current scenario with client is that they are having lots of material which only differ from their property as length, dia, metal type, size etc...
Our assurance with client is, we will reduce materials codification complexity, they doesn't want thousand of material code which would be differ from only their property and they want to valuate each material separately also.
I am trying to minimize material codification by creating classification but it is not being clear to me either this will solve our purpose.
Please help me to rectify this issue by providing a couple of ideas.

Hi Mohit,
Material variants are adequate for production, make-to-order, but cannot be used to control stocks. The characteristics of a variant are only recorded at sales order level. The advantage is that pricing can be set considering this characteristics. The disadvantage is that stock is all in a unique material code.
Material classification is not useful per se since characteristic values are set at material master level, so you cannot have two colors for the same material.
Other thing you can use are batches and a batch class with your relevant characteristics. In this scenario you would know how much stock you have of any combination of characteristics and sales price could also be set based on this characteristics. The stock value is one for each material.
The third option I see is to have different valuation types, on for each combination of characteristics values. The stock quantity and stock value would be individually separated but the maintenance of new valuation types would be complex.

How to build a table with predifined? Like Huffman decoding, there are 34 predefined tables?

I am trying to use Labview for mp3 huffman decoding. there are 34 predefined tables for lookup purpose. I tried build array control, but it is so hard to assign value with size of 16. What is the better way to create predefined array? And how to do lookup table with Labview?

IMHO, the best way to have something "predefined" is to read this data from a "setup/configuration" file (if you don't want to use "default settings" LV feature). The choice of the format for all the data that you want to store in some kind of configuration file is up to you.
Also, constructing a "lookup table" in LV doesn't seems different as for any other programming language.

How to create an application with a 'Windows' like interface?

Hi,
I am trying to create an application with an windows like interface where menu selections need to open bound taskflows in a page/window but i can not get it to work. I did the following
- i created a page template with a panelStretchLayout
- added a menuBar with commandMenuItems
- created a start page based on the template
- created bound taskflows with page fragments for all menu items
- placed a dynamic region on the start page which initially shows a taskflow with an empty/blank page fragment
- change the dynamic region taskflow from every menuitem and added partial triggers on the dynamic region for every menu item
When i run the application the first empty page fragment is showed correctly but when i select a menu item the correct new page fragment is showed but it keeps showing a loading data .... hint and seems to freeze. So no data is showed while the underlying datacontrols work while using the bc tester.
Besides this problem i am wondering if i at all am going the right way with this with using a dynamic region? In the final application i will have a total of about 25 menu items over several menus and if they all will be showing in one main dynamic region with partial triggers set to all menu items it may get a bit complex? I saw you can also create a window in a popup which i like even more because it looks like an actual window but this is modal. I would like a bound taskflow to be opened whenever a menu selection is made.
Any pointers or tips or the solution to not showing data?

If have not encountered that problem. Are you sure you have a taskflow entry under the executables tag in the page definition of the page which has the dynamic region on it? I have one like this:

During the selection of its initial value when it is rendering for the first time it should have the session bean already initialized. My bean looks like this:

How to Activate GOS button in HR transactions like po13,pp02,pp01 etc

Hi guys,
Can you please help, could you please give me so guyide lines on how to activate the GOS button in HR transactions like po13,pp01,pp02 etc. The GOS button is not visible at all in our system. I have rad various threads but they all assume that the button is visible. My requirement is activate it so that it becomes visble.
We would like to attach .doc.xls.pdf documents against various OM objects hence the need to activate the GOS button.

Anyway I was wondering so far if you did selected any HR object in PO13 or PP01 to make sure taht GOS button doesn't appear? GOS button is shown only if you select an HR objects in those tcode. (cfr the link above for screenshot).

How can I move pictures, with their videos, from a different iPhoto Library to my new that I already have been using?

I replaced my hard drive in my MBP a few months ago and started using a iPhoto Library and have been ever since. Now that I've actually taken the time to get most of my files off my old hard drive, I want to import all my albums, hopefully in the same order, to my new iphoto library.
I know I can export pictures, and it works well, but when I do so for the videos in those folders, all I get is a second-long video of the original.
I don't want to have to opt-click everytime to select either of my libraries. I do want to combine them but have not figured out how. I ask if anybody has the answer. Thanks in advance.

The only way to merge Libraries is with the paid ($20) version of iPhoto Library Manager

File -> Export and set the Kind to Original

I have a few ai files that I converted to PDF files and I need to reduce the size of them without losing quality of image.....I selected document then selected reduce size. This gave me a smaller file but my images were low quality.

Try the PDF optimiser under Advanced but remember to audit space use
first - this ensures you can attacking the areas which are fat as such ...

How to find tax lines with their respective items

Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how to attach each distribution lines type of tax to it's item parent. By scanning ap_invoice_distributions_v, couldn't link out tax lines to any item lines.
A details scenario is the following:
- For each invoice, the report shows its associate distributions lines.
- When a line type is TAX, i'm trying to retrieve its associated item.
I went through the API referenced by APXINWKB forms and its "Calculate Tax" processes to follow the background logic. But AP_TAX_CONTROL_PKG and AP_TAX_ENGINE_PKG could not be of a great help.
Logically, a field in ap_invoice_distributions_v should tell for each tax distribution line what its item distribution line is.....
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

How do I BUMP videos with my 4S like the Galaxy commercial?

My Phone is not a phone and I didn't buy my iPhone 4S 'just to make plain old phone calls'. My iPhone 4S, Jacked into my Fiio E17/Bose AE2 is my home entertainment center when traveling. Siri is my Personal Assistant making appointments, finding locations, etc. Today, I snapped a photo of my proposed contract and 'messaged it' to the client who agreed to the terms. Two Weeks ago, I flamed this moron Russian Player IN RUSSIAN and I don't speak a word of Russian (I pushed this guy's buttons in a language I do not speak---AWESOME!!!). I troubleshot a problem with my car by snapping a photo of the sensor and messangering it to the mechanic. At my friend's hospital (she had an operation), the nurses were issued iPhones and they snap photos of patents so that the doctor could consult in real time while on 'the golf course'? I couldn't visit with Michelle, so I FACETIMED Her---she even showed me her room and I showed her the new improvements I made to my car---all from over 120 miles away!!! I am typing this question on my phone while on the toilet because, well, I can!!! My iPhone is not a cell phone---its my portable office!!! All employees will wash their hands as they leave 'my office'---thank you!!!
It could be VERY USEFUL for me to bump phones and migrate documents/photos/videos instead of having INDIVIDUALLY send them from my base computer which I rarely take out into the field. Besides, its a pain to have to click my google account then attach them INDIVIDUALLY as .pdf(s) or .tif(s) or MicroSoft extensions. If the Galaxy people are BUMPING videos, they are probably bumping music videos and songs like I WANT TO DO. How come the Galaxy People get to do this AND I CAN'T?!!! What's my WORK-AROUND, APPLE?!!! Again, I'm boping around with a Neolithic iPhone 4S because Sprint does not have i80 wired 4G LTE yet. Can my Neolithic A5 chip handle bumping?

To be perfectly honest, I didn't know you could use BUMP to bump anything other than BUSINESS CARDS!!! I guess that's on me!!! I downloaded the app when I saw ten or so Japanese Businessmen at SFO standing in circles, bumping phones. I asked what they were doing and I WENT CRAZY when they told me 'This is how we now exchange business cards in Japan'!!! I didnt know you could bump documents and stuff. Apple needs to have a POWER USER class instead of the 'basic course' they offer currently for free. FYI, the iPhone 4S for Dummies(Wiley) is almost a manditory purchase---iPhones are too feature laden to try and 'wing it' without a reference available.

I have added an EditText with a CFL linked to "lf_items".
I want the EditText to act like a system "Item Description" EditText, so that when
the user enters a value and presses on CTRL+TAB in it, a CFL event will not be triggered and the focus will simply be transfered to the next item.
Does anybody know how to do that ?

In sap's marketing document one can enter a free description to
the "Item Description" column by using CTRL + TAB .
I needed to build a similar solution.
The answer I found was to:
Track a CTRL+ TAB press,
Read the value the user entered from the EditText.Value
Totally stop the CFL event
Do oMatrix.FlushToDataSource()
Write the value to the DBDataSource of the user table
Do oMatrix.LoadFromDataSource()
Allow the CFL event to run as usual.

i have bought an iPhone 4 and want to put my music on it.
The problem is that I have a Notebook and a PC (both WINDOWS 7).
Now I have registered my iPhone with the Notebook but sometimes I find a new Song on my PC.
But iTunes says that my iPhone is conected to another iTunes, so it will not transfer my music.
Why does it not work like the iPod Touch I had? With the iPod i could my music from both Notebook and PC.
Can anyone help me? PLEASE!!!!
