How to remove(or Hide) TextArea Border

how to remove (AWT) TextArea (and TextFiled)'s Border?
just like (Swing) jTextArea.setBorder(null);

Hi
I did not find a simple way to do it, so i made a new class:
Mfield f1 = new Mfield("12345abcde");
add(f1.pa);
f1.setBounds(40,40,100,20);
public class Mfield extends TextField
     Panel pa = new Panel();
public Mfield(String s)
     super(s);
     pa.setLayout(null);
     pa.setBackground(Color.white);
     pa.add(this);
public void setBounds(int x, int y, int w, int h)
     pa.setBounds(x,y,w,h);
     super.setBounds(-2,-2,w+4,h+4);

  • How to remove or hide toolbar context menu in visual studio IDE

    Hi All,
    Currently we are extending Visual studio and it's functionality.
    As we know, we can have different categories of tool bars like standard, build, debug etc shown in pic -
    or we can access the categories via -  View Main Menu -> Toolbars
    Basically My requirement is that, I don't want to show these options (Build, Debug, Debug Location, Layout, customize , Text Editor, Standard etc) shown in context menu or shown in submenu.
    How can I achieve it ? Please advice.

    AFAIK, you can only customize it manually, but can't hide the builtin menus:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/vstudio/wdee4yb6(v=vs.100).aspx
    or maybe you can try vsct:

  • How to remove any instance of "border-radius: 100%;" on a certain website?

    I want to disable this line from appearing in the inspect element on one website only. How do I make firefox do this automatically? If possible, just make it an addon because IDK how and I dont know how to code. Not going to learn.
    Has to work in firefox 28, and I only want to prevent Firefox from loading this line.

    Aha, okay, you can use a custom style rule to hack the page. I realize this kind of looks like coding, but the code is already written, so it's more like copying and pasting.
    First, you can install the Stylish extension. This add-on makes it easier to apply custom style rules to pages (and, if necessary, Firefox's UI). You can get it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/stylish/
    Second, you'll need to select and copy this six-line style rule:
    @namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);
    @-moz-document domain("www.mineheroes.net") {
    .avatar img, .avatar .img, .avatarCropper {
    border-radius: 2px !important;
    Third, load up a thread in the site and look for the Stylish "S" icon on the toolbar. ''(If necessary, you can use the Customize feature to add it to the toolbar temporarily. See: [[Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars]].)''
    Click the S, then Write New Style, then Blank Style.
    A new tab should open with the cursor next to "1" (the line number counter).
    Paste the rule you copied earlier and click Preview.
    When you switch back to the forum, the avatar icons should be (mostly) square again.
    I have attached a screen shot showing what that should look like. ''(To shrink the rule editor to a small box, I first right-clicked the tab and used Move to New Window.)''
    Assuming it worked, you can switch back over the Stylish editor, give your rule a name, and save it.
    Any luck?

  • Tracking detail displayed & prints on all inbox emails & forward emails. How to remove or hide?

    My incoming emails shows all the tracking information ( that was previously hidden) on the screen and the printed emails. If I forward an email the tracking information is included on the forwarded email. If I reply to an email, the information is not displayed (shown) on the email. We have not been able to find a way to hide this information as it was in the past and is for our other users.

    From the menu bar select View-Headers-Normal
    No menu bar? Press the alt key.

  • How to remove the help link button on EP7.0?

    We have a need to remove (or hide)  the "help" button on EP7.0.
    We have tried different ways but no success.
    Would you please help?  Thanks a lot!

    Thanks!
    Do you have a way to hide/remove the help button on the ITS which renders SAP transaction?
    May I explain more:
    We use ITS to access some R/3 t-codes.
    Some R3 transactions have a "help" button which is not wanted or desired.
    Could you tell how to remove or hide it?
    Thanks!

    When I make a field required, it makes the pdf show a thick ugly red border. How can I change that?

    Now you see me, now you don’t.
    Interactive forms highlight where you should enter data. To turn this highlighting on, click the Highlight Existing Fields button.
    The fillable fields within the form (see example below) are highlighted in a light blue color. This lets you enter information into these fields. By default, Adobe® Reader® displays a red border around required fields:
    Pretty dang ugly, huh?
    Fortunately, it can be turned off.  This script (placed on a form:ready event) will do the trick:
        if (xfa.host.name == "Acrobat")
    app.runtimeHighlight = false;
    Here’s how we achieve this:
    Part 1:
    In the Object palette, click the Value tab. Under Type, choose User Entered – Required.
    First, we need to define which fields are mandantory/required. Click within the desired field to select it.
    You can assign as many mandatory fields as the form requires. When you are finished doing this, enter the Script Editor.
              Note:   To show or hide the Script Editor window as you need it, click the toggle.
    Select the form:ready event. Be sure JavaScript is the chosen scripting language to run on the Client.
    Type the following script into the window:
        if (xfa.host.name == "Acrobat")
           app.runtimeHighlight = false;
    Save your work.
    Part 2:
    From the File menu, choose Form Properties.
    Click the Form Validation tab.
                   Click Color Failed Fields.
                   Check the box next to Color fields and fail their validations.
    To turn borders off, click the arrow next to Border Color, then click the box.
    To define a background color, click the arrow next to Background Color, the choose More Colors.
    Select the first available empty box, then click Define Custom Colors.
    Define a custom color per your visual identity guidelines.
    When you are finished, click on Add to Custom Colors, then click OK.
    Click OK on the Form Properties window.
    Save your work.
    The result? When the user tries to submit a form without first entering data into the required fields, an alert message is displayed.
    When the user clicks OK to clear the error message, form submission is cancelled.
    Failed fields are highlighted in an attractive way—without red borders.

  • How to remove a black border box that continously tabs to each field automatically till end of web page; restarts to top of page, cannot stop this box. Scroll bar cannot controlled with mouse, returns auto to top of scroll slide, never remaining at bottom

    how to remove a black border box that continously tabs to each field automatically till end of web page; restarts to top of page, cannot stop this box. Scroll bar cannot be controlled with mouse, scroll bar returns automatically to the top of scroll slide every time I move the bar to the bottom of the scale.  Also, there's a rectangular text box (with black background and white text) that is always on the desktop that emulates a typed text, HTML, or cmd function.

    The first two problems (box cycling from element to element on page, scroll bar returning to top) can be caused by a stuck (or defective) Tab key on the keyboard. Such damage can be caused by a liquid spill; just one tiny droplet is enough to short a wafer switch under one key.
    The last issue (black box, white text - sounds sorta like a debugger window) I haven't seen, but could be caused by something similar.
    To check for that, try using a different keyboard. If you're using a wireless keyboard, turn it off and see if the oddities stop.

  • How to remove and change the color of Java cup and border

    Hi to all,
    How to remove and change the color of Java cup and border.

    This is just an Image. You would need to create your own image and call setIconImage(Image) on your JFrame.

  • How to remove/hide Mac OS X titlebar?

    How can I remove or hide the titlebar (Firefox 4 on Mac OS X) a la FF4/Windows or Chrome/MacOSX? I'd like to keep the window buttons, but move the tabs up to the titlebar (tabs on top).

    In general it must be possible (Chrome makes it, a Safari Beta made it - see attached pic - and iTunes has a totally new titlebar), but i couldn't find a mod so far. If anyone has a solution so kindly let us know... It cannot be that ff looks on a pc greater than on a mac!

  • How do I remove or hide default lightroom presets?

    How do I remove or hide lightroom default presets.  I NEVER use them and just want to delete, or hide them.

    What Jim said. I mean, there is a way to hack the program to get rid of them, but then they come back next update - not worth it in my opinion.

  • How to remove/hide 3d object template (start point) when making object transparent

    When making 3d object then making it transparent i still see form of witch i made it.
    How to remove it?
    I made square then from it 3d object and made it round so i could put on it beer botle label BUT when i put latel and then make transperancy full then i still see square from witch object is made.. Its still showing up. Why or better- how to remove it? Cant find any button to click it off.

    I'm also not so sure I understand what you're trying to do.
    If you share  an observablecollection then removing an item from that collection would remove it from any ListBox whose itemssource was bound to it.
    I get the impression that might not be what you want though.
    Hope that helps.
    Recent Technet articles: Property List Editing;
    Dynamic XAML
    for example:i have 3 listboxs,binding itemssource named list1,list2,list3
    in my way
    <ListBox Height="138" Margin="58,30,60,0" VerticalAlignment="Top" ScrollViewer.HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Disabled" ItemContainerStyle="{StaticResource ListBoxItemStyle1}" ItemsSource="{DynamicResource list1}">
    </ListBox>
    <ListBox Height="138" Margin="58,30,60,0" VerticalAlignment="Top" ScrollViewer.HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Disabled" ItemContainerStyle="{StaticResource ListBoxItemStyle1}" ItemsSource="{DynamicResource list2}">
    </ListBox>
    <ListBox Height="138" Margin="58,30,60,0" VerticalAlignment="Top" ScrollViewer.HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Disabled" ItemContainerStyle="{StaticResource ListBoxItemStyle1}" ItemsSource="{DynamicResource list3}">
    </ListBox>
    in ListBoxItemStyle1 the method textBlock_MouseDown,i have no way to get the list correctly because the 3 listBox's ItemStyle is the same.if i can get the lists from listboxitem,i can use only one style

  • Pages - How to remove the grey frame?

    Hi!
    I am wondering how to remove the grey frame around the page so that when you print the page there won't be white borders around the page?
    Thanks!

    The grey border is probably the part the printer can't print on. It can be deselected in View > Hide layout. No matter what it will be white paper when you print.
    To not get white paper you need to be able to print borderless and you need to have images and text al the way out to the edge.
