  • Getting wrong values  for decimal value in Bex report

    Hi,
I am getting some problem in Bexreport decimal values.
In ODS i am able to look the values for this key figure
(Total PO Release Val)= 140.692,00,the same value in Bex report looks like this $ 140,692.00.
Here one calculation is going with these above values
       % Used = 'Total PO Release Val' / 'Target Value' * 100
as per ODS value calculation  it is correct = 140.692/1000 * 100 =14.692
as per Bex  it is coming like this = 140,692.00/1000 *100 = 142.692.
in Bex report Percentage valus is not considering value is taking as 140,692.00 rather than 140.692.I mean to say decemal values are ignoring while calculation in Bexreport.can you any please advice me how to comeout of this problem.Appreciate your help.
    Regards
    Ramesh

<i> "(Total PO Release Val)= 140.692,00,the same value in Bex report looks like this $ 140,692.00."
    </i>
How do you check the ODS value? The amount will only have two decimal places after it, so you can't have a value like 140.692,00. It seems to be an issue of user's decimal notation (where decimal is represented by comma, and thousand seperator by '.'). Go to user profile, change this setting (in default tab) to correct one (ie decimal being represented by '.') and login again and check it. The value that you see in ODS is 'one hundred forty thousand six hundred ninety two, the same that you get in Bex, only the representation is different).

  • How do remove commitment value in the PO ? any SAP note avl?

    Hi,
Project (WBS)releated service PO (Account assignment category P and Item category D), in which SES,GR,IR have been completed for entire Project services for the year 2005,PO history also updatd for SES, GR,IR in the 2005 only. But Now system is showing still commitment value in the PO for the year 2009?.
Henece how do remove the inconsistency of the  commitment value in the PO for the year 2009?. (i.e value is comming from COOI table entry). Is there any SAP NOTEs are available for this case?
    Note:
But this case no PR has been refered in the PO. PO has been directly created, and PO  QTY,Value changes have not been done after SES,GR,IR completion.
But still system  commitment value is showing in the PO for the year 2009, so HOW do remove the value?
    i am looking suitable answers.
    Regards,
    kumar

    Hi,
Pre-requisites for a commitment update are:
o  In transaction OKKP, the commitment management indicator must be
active for the given controlling area in the current fiscal year.
The controlling area is the highest organizational unit in Controlling,
however this area is missing from the accounting data of the PO.
o  The accounting objects must be active for commitments:
    -  Work orders: The commitment management indicator must be set
in transaction KOT2 for the given order type.
    -  Cost centers: In transaction KS02, in register "Control", the
commitment update indicator must NOT be set.
    -  Projects: see note 47992
o  In transaction CUNI, the unit of measurements used at item level
must be set to value based commitment.
Please check the following notes 152571, 634298, 459509 and
    772206 carefully and also 165823.
Please check also if the "delivery complete" indicator is set in the PO item (see note 735404).
Usually for service POs the "Delivery completed" indicator will be
hidden and this indicator is fully controlled by the "final entry
sheet" indicator in ML81N. You must allow to set this indicator trough a field selection customizing for your PO item.

  • How to pass the value from Sub report to main report

    I have un report(mainreport) within a subreport(subreport).
With reporting services, how to pass the value from Sub report to main report?
    thanks

    Hi Alebet,
With reporting services to pass values from sub report in to main report is not supported directly.
But there are some workarounds through which you can get this .
There are two ways to get this.
1- Put your sub report query into some table. i mean to say through the subreport query get some temporary table.
2- Using this temporary tables data write some Scala function in the data base.
3- Now in your main report query return this scala function as a column.
4- Extract the column value where ever you want in your main report which is getting calculated from the subreport query. so you will be getting the values returned from the subreport in the main report.
This will definitely work fine as i have done some report in this way.
Another way of doing is that
1- prepare another data set with the same query as in sub report in the data tab.
2- then refer this 2nd dataset in your main report .
But better way will be the top one.
Anyway please let me know if you get the solution.
    Thanks
    Mahasweta

  • How to get rid of unassigned values in the report

    hai to all,
    here is the issue,
while running a report(sales per country), iam getting the data, after that when i drill down on <u><b>sales document number</b></u> iam getting some unassigned data, with Sales document number as #, and some value in the keyfigure.what is the reason behind this?
Here is another issue that i want to find all the sales documents which have the value # in the report?, is it possible?    the same case with <u><b>Customer country</b></u>, on the same report.
    pl anyone help me
    br
    venkat/shyam

    Hi Shyam.
Regarding the first issue: Well, you've loaded some data records into your cube where the "Sales Doc Field" is empty.  Did you load through PSA? The best way to scan your PSA (I believe) is to find the underlying table and have a look at it via SE16. In this way you don't have to  scan through every data single package. This can be done via "display data flow" from your cube and switch on technical names. There you have it. (It's called /BIC/B00...etcetc you might have to add i few zeroes though when you enter it into SE16). Get request ID from "Infocube Managment". In SE16 seelction screen use F2 to set the "sales Doc No." field even to blank.
Second issue is a bit easier: in your query (or a working copy of your query) restrict on "Sales Doc No" or "Customer Coutry" to only include value "#". In the same way you can remove the unassigned values be excluding value "#".
    Hope this works for you.

  • How to remove Cross Marks in the Report Column.of Cell..!!

    Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue. I have included a Formula in the Cell  at Query Level.
When i run the report in the Bex Analyzer.
for that Formula column in the report there is some Cross Marks with Red Colour is displaying.
But the Formula is added in the Cell area at Query designer level.
Here user requirement is if there is no values calculated in the Formula column there should be no values has to be displayed.
But unfortunately, here i am getting Cross Marks or Mulitply Symbol is displaying.
My Question is Pls advice, How to remove those Red Cross Marks in the report of that Column.
    Thanks,
    SN.

    Hi,
Whenever there is no value, by default, and SAP standard, it shows X mark.
At reporting level you cannot do changes, as this change has to be done at global level. Hence make sure that if this has to be changes this will affect other reports too.
If you still feel that X mark has to be displayed as blank, then you can do this in SPRO settings.
SPRO->Display IMG->SAP Netweaver->Business Intelligence->Settings for Reporting and Analysis->and execute Presenting the numeric value in the Bex.
    Change the value:
Does not exist : Remove X.
    Hope this solves your issue.

  • Unassigned Values in PS reports

    Hi ,
We have not assigned few Cost elements in transaction code OPI2 , mainly COGS and SFGs consumption Cost elements. So they are coming in the unassigned value category. But when we run the hierarchical report S_ALR_87013532 - Plan/Actual/Variance, we found it is considering unassigned values also.
Our requirement is how can we exclude the unassigned value category from the hierarchical report S_ALR_87013532 for proper disclosure.
    Regards
    Ashish

    Hi,
The customer master data and country master data should have relation defined properly.
for example, you have a customer cust1 and the country master data should have some relation to display country for that customer. Do to this you will be getting unassigen values in report.
So a combination in transaction data should exist.
    Hope this helps you.......

  • How to pass a value from the report to a form ( BIT OF URGENT ).

    Hi,
I had created a "Form on a Table with Report" on the report I had remove the edit link and set one of the column feilds that functionality. Now I want to know how to pass that value that is clicked ( having hyper link ) on to the form where it runs a SQL query and then displays the reuslts on the form.
    Illustrating with an example.
I am having these following columns on the report ( these are the results for the join statement )
JOBNUM JOBNAME DEPTNUMBER SAL EMPNO LNAME FNAME
In the above JOBNUM is having Hyper link as I removed the edit image.
Now this is area I am having problem. When the user clicked on the JOBNUM then on form it should display 20 other columns( pulled from 5 other tables ) which are related to that particualr JOBNUM.
Anybody give me a solution in which area I have to include my SQL statement and how to pass that selected value to that SQL statement.
    Cheers,
    Krishna

    Hi Ron,
I am doing exaclty what you have suggested me but no luck. I started changing the DEMO_CUSTOMERS application to my requirements. The report is working fine and on the report I have created a page attribute to the Hyper linked column and linked that to the page 2 and assign that attribute with #JOBNUM#.
I am able to pass that value on to form when I click on the JOBNUM. But the problem is I am not able to pass that value into the SQL query so that my query pulls 20+ columns on to the Form ( which is second page ).
Small clarification... On the form region it is said FORM NAME and type is HTML is that is the way the APEX was designed or does it need to say region type as FORM.
Thanks for your help in advance.
    Cheers,
    Krishna.

  • Display Filter Values in BEx Report

I have a BW query that has a dimension (Unit of Measure, UoM) in the filter area.  The user can only select one value for UoM.  The user selects "Z03" which corresponds to a UoM text value of "lb/1000 gal". How do I  display "lb/1000 gallons" at the top of the BEx report.
If this is not possible, I would like to at least display the value Z03 at the top of the report.  I prefer not to devote a whole column in the BEx report to UOM, since the user can only select one UOM.  I am new to BW and this is my first posting.

    Hi Jeff,
if you have a variable for UoM you can add the value/text of the variable via textvariable to the query title.
Please ask if you need more advice on this.
    Regards

  • How to remove blank pages from WebI Report in view page layout option

    Hi,
I am working in Business Objects XIR2 environment. I have a WebI report with several sections. I need to show the report as a book with 69 sections (each section on new page). there are 69 sections on cost center and each cost center section has almost 10 sections embedded in it. When i see in regular view - I only see 69 pages but when I try to see in "View Page Lay out" option, there is one blank page added after each results page.
Please let me know how to remove this blank page. I need to give users the option to download the book as PDF on to their machine. Now, when I download to my machine, I see one blank page after each results page.
    Thanks in advance.

Jus convert your report in Page Layout mode and see if your first pafe is getting expand in the second page.
Now check if there are any cell going into second page.
    - if there are any blank cell which is there after table.
you have to check formating very carefull.

  • Display of calender month text instead of values in BEx report.

    Hi,
I have calender months in the reporting columns, values of these reporting columns are dynamic in reports. We need to replace these values with text of the calender months. I have seen it at some places but do not remember how to do it now.
Can some one has idea on this, will update on this post please.

    Hi
if you want to display in columns along with the data then right click and select properties and the select the disply as Text .
If you want to display in the header go the properties and in the header (Title area where u provide desxcription) instead of ur description enter the text variable &0T_CMONV& or you can select the text variable from the list .

    Hi,
are you on BI7.0? There you can create variables type replacement path and get the value out from a different variable without any coding.
