How to reset input Text value on click of root menu item navigation link ?

I am facing this issue across the pages.
I have a root_menu.xml based navigation available as links at the top of ADF application. Some of the menu links directly have JSPX pages having the content being loaded , and others are JSPX containing Bounded task flow.
Issue :
On the click of the menu links, the page gets reloaded / refreshed , however the input value given on the page remains displayed even after refresh.
We need the page refresh along with any input test box getting cleared on Menu item click.
Any pointers as to how we can resolve.

If your page is in a taskflow (which it should be as you use pageflowscope), you should have a method action in your task flow which you call to clear all the values you use in the UI.

This is my requirement. I designed customized master - detail - detail page. I customized the page in below format.
1. Master Data Field (Input text,etc) .
2. Detail in table format ( Rows are mapped to child table) and i given two buttons for to create row and delete row. I designed the table based on the example provided in forum for to create customized table. The input text component is mapped to the rows.
Now i want to retrieve all the data's entered in the rows. The table is mapped to child table. When i read the values from the table its showing null.

It has oldValue and newValue attributes.

I am displaying the names from database in a page as hyperlink. When this hyperlink is clicked I want to display the corresponding address from DB. What I am trying to do is to click on some texts in a textarea, then get the selected text value.
If you guys have used an accounting software called Simply Accounting, you might understand better.
I list all my customer names in a textarea. What I want is, when I click on one customer, another GUI pops up with this customer's information. My problem is that I don't know how to get the selected text value from a textarea.

How to clear input field value on back

I have developed an application, in which user put sales order on first page and press a button then its detail display on second page using restAPI. Now when I press back button on second page then it takes me to first page with holding previous sales order value in input field. And when I change its value and press that button again then it shows me previous sales order detail.
Please suggest me, how to refresh cache and input fields value on back button?

How to persist TextInput text values?
Can anyone provide a brief explanation of how to persist text
values?
Description:
Stuff written into a TextInput field does not persist when
moving
to another frame, and back again.
Example:
Frame 1: Put a TextInput component on the stage.
Frame 1: Put a "forward" button on the stage.
Frame 9: Put a "back" button on the stage.
Frame 1 actionScript:
this.btnForward.onRelease = function() {
gotoAndStop(9);
Frame 9 actionScript:
this.btnBack.onRelease = function() {
gotoAndStop(1);
Play it.
Write something in the TextInput.
Click the forward button. (this takes it to Frame 9)
Click the back button. (this takes it back to Frame 1)
>> The TextInput field is blank.

In my customcontrollerView all my BAPI mathods instances and execute methods are declared.All the attributes directly getting from model class.
But I have two views , in first view I created a input field(for that i created valueAttribute in that context).
Here I want give the conditions If the input field is empty then directly call the execute method of BAPI.
Otherwise give any input to the inputfiled then capture that value and send it input to BAPI from view to BAPI.
In my customcontroller

b.Param1();
b.param2();
and
execute BAPI()
I done like this.
How can i capture the view input value how to send as a b.parama();

If I understood you correctly, you can set autosubmit="true" on af:inputText, and bind valueChangeListener to the method in backing bean where you can check whatever you need to check. That way, when inputText looses focus (or you press enter), the value will be submited to the server, where you can validate it.

How to create input text of the node in AVL tree
Hi experts,
I create a simple AVL tree to display the sales order items, just two classes for one relationship. Like the left part on the screen in this program "DEMO_ABAP_OBJECTS_CONTROLS".
I want to let the node of the second class be maintained serial no., somthing like input field behind the node or double click the node, then show up the input field on another space on the same screen.
And there is a button on screen, I can do some check for the text of input field when pressing the button. If the input data is wrong , then show up the error message.
I have searched BCALV* in SE38, but i don't see anything helpful.
Plz give me some advice, thanks a lot!!

My AVL tree is declared like this:
Data: tree TYPE REF TO cl_gui_simple_tree.
The class is not "cl_gui_alv_tree" , so I can not use the code.
The code I create the node is the follwing:
CALL METHOD tree->add_nodes
EXPORTING table_structure_name = 'ABDEMONODE'
node_table = node_table.
And I looked the program that Uwe wrote, the tree is declared in class cl_gui_alv_tree, too.
I want to double click the node and appear a field that can be inputed text.
Is there any other way to do this with the class cl_gui_simple_tree?

How to allow input text field to accept more than one "specific" answer.

I am working for something and trying to create a type-box-based quiz for one of my classes, where an input text field can change it's border color if 2 or more words from an accepted word list is inputed.
For example, Say a list has possible answers: R,G, B, Y for the question "Name 2 colors".
I want to create an input text box where the border of the box will change color if any 2 letters (in the above list) are entered into it.
I've tried setting up a variable NumberSuccesses and setting it so that the number increases by 1 for each letter entered e.g.
if (Ex.text == "R");
NumSuc = NumSuc +1; // the var NumSuc has already been defined earlier in the code
If (Ex.text ''G")
NumSuc = NumSuc + 1
if (NumSuc == 2)

but that didn't work.. and I tried doing it with another function which I use for multiple input boxes like if there were boxes A, B, C. I could set up a general function where if the correct answers were entered into A, B, an C respectively, only then will say, a checkmark show up using a
EnableCheckmark (); type function. Not sure how to do it if it's the same text input box though. Also just tried adding it into the same function re.

Trying to auto commit after input text value change
Hello, I have created a page that contains an input text box. When the user changes something in the input text box, I want to fire off a commit operation.
As of now, I have valueChangeListener of the inputText set to a method on my managed bean which then grabs the commit operation from my bindings container and executes it.
At that point, I would expect the changes to a the input text box to be saved after a user modifies it. However, it doesn't seem to be working, because when I refresh the page, the mod I made to the text is not there. The input text still reflects the text that was there before I made a change.
Anyone know what's happening here?? And how I can make it work?Hi Timo,
Thanks for the response. I tried that, and my commit function in my bean was getting called, but the data still wasnt "REALLY" getting saved.
I had to bind my input text to a property in managed bean, and call
inputText.processUpdates(FacesContext.getCurrentInstance());
doCommit(); // method that simply calls the commit method in my binding container, and does a few other things.
For simplicity I just bound the panel that all my input components were child of. In this case it was a DecorativeBox. So I bound the DecorativeBox to my bean and just did
decBox.processUpdates(....)
doCommit();
That way all my child input components were updated before the commit took place. That seemed to do the trick nicely (-;

MT940 - How to change the text value in AC doc created through EBS

I would like to know how can we manipulate the payee details sent by the Bank so that unncessary things are removed from the text of the accounting document created through EBS posting (FF_5)
My bank statement has the below lines

After running the program the I see the below values

I think, text value in the ac document is the concatenation of FEBEP-CHECT & FEBRE-VWEZW.
However I dont want FEBEP-CHECT & few initial chacters of FEBRE-VWEZW in my accounting document text. I would like the text to be MDIR 5735826JAN185635826
Can anyone please suggest how this can be achieved?

One of the solutions is (taken from another source):
As of Release 4.70, there is a Business Add-In (BADI) with the definition name FEB_BADI that is called immediately before the standard posting in program RFEBBU00. In this case, you can change the procedure of the standard posting or make additional account assignments by changing the tables that are to be transferred to the posting interface (FTPOST, FTCLEAR). To do this, go to the SAP menu and follow the path Tools->ABAP-Workbench->Business Add-ins, create an enhancement that you assign to the FEB_BADI BAdI and then implement the CHANGE_POSTING_DATA method.
When you activate the BAdI, you receive a message, telling you that the active implementation of this BAdI already exists. If you do not use the public sector industry solution, you can deactivate the active BAdI of the IBS_PS area and activate your own implementation.
