How to reset the existing data in a company code?

Hi All,
Can any one help me how to reset the existing data in a company code? when we want to change one Chart of Accounts to another Chart of Accounts in OB62 scree.

Is it a real-time situation or something you are visualising ?
For consolidation, you can use a group chart of accounts and select that in the operative chart of accounts for consolidation purposes. This would work provided the company codes use the same operative chart of accounts and fiscal year.

i am creating a CMP entity bean.in these beans client create the data instances using create() function.
now a entity bean will be created for the newly created data and it's EJBObject will also be formed.
now we will be able to perform finder methods over them.
remember these data has been newly created in the database.
but now if i want to perform the finder methods on the
existing data in the database( i don't need to use create() fn as i am not "creating" the data.). how will i perform the query over the existing data.
basically i have to make a CMP bean to extract the data corresponding to a particular condition , from the database table. i don't want to create the data in the database but just find out what data satisfies my condition.

you have to use findByXXX methods. depending on your appserver you may have to declare them (and eventually the query you want to be used) in the vendor specific deploiement descriptor.
(e.g. using jboss i don't remember having explicitly declare the findBySomeField method - where someField is a persistent field - in the dd, whereas with bas all finder methods have to be explicitly declared)
[note that obviously these methods have to be present in your home interface]

All I say here is based on limited knowledge on 1.1 ejb specification. There could be improvements on 2.0 spec. 1.1 specification does not formaly provide how the finders should work for container managed beans. It leaves it at the hand of bean providers. Currently bean providers describes the finers in a description of the Entity Bean. Refer to documentation accompanied with application server you are using.

How to load the exist Data Mart Request in to cube.

Hi Friends,
I have a scenario... i got DSO and one Cube , iam loading the data from DSO to Cube .
The number of records are more in the DSO and due to some clculation in the routine i need to load the data year by year(i got 2007 and 2008 year daya). I have loaded the 2007 data to the Infocube and in the DSO i can see the Data Mart Symbal against the Request Id when th load is finished successfully.
When iam trying to load the 2008 data from DSO to Cube iam getting the "0" records. I realised that the Data Mart symbal is exist in the DSO.
How to load the 2008 data in this scenario. If i delete the data mart sysbel means iam deleting the Cube request.
Can any have an idea on this.

Things are not clear.
How is loading happening if its delta or full load through DTP or you using 3.5 flow??
In any cases if you do a full load or full repair based on the year selection it should pick the records from the source...there is nothing to do with the data mart status in the case of full loads.
Data mart status will come into picture only when you schedule the delta loads.
Do a full load based on selections on year from the DSO to the cube...no need to delete the data mart or it will bring that request again delta is scheduled...does that request in DSO contains the data for 2008 only ...if yes then you can just delete the data mart status for that and do a delta...if not then do full loads as said.

You need to use change pointer to do this. Go to transaction SALE,
expand MODELLING AND IMPLEMENTING...
expand MASTER DATA DIST...
expand REPLICATION OF MODIFIED DATA
You may need to maintain distribution model in SALE.

Migrating 3 company codes data to 1 company code.

Hi all,
We are one legal entity, imparting educational training and operating its activities at three locations namely Gurgaon, Dehradun and
Rajamundary. In addition it has two administrative offices at Delhi and Mumbai besides a few other rented premises.
The implementation team has created one company as XYZ and created three separate company codes for each of the operational unit at Gurgaon, Dehradun and Rajamundary. All the existing company codes have been assigned to one Chart of Account. The operating units are neither independent legal entities nor are required to generate location-wise Final Accounts.
However the existing system is not meeting our requirement and we wish to operate thru one company code only.
Accordingly we plan to generate one more company code and migrate all the data from existing three company codes to this new one on a pre fix
cut off date. After that we will record all the transactions in this new
company code only and the existing codes would not be used further.
In this regard please advise us the steps required to be followed to migrate the combined data of three company codes to one company code.

Sell-off of parts of the company
A company group sells the portfolio of one of its divisions to another company. As a result, the data that relates to the sold company division must be removed from the groups SAP system, and transferred to the new owner.
With the "client separation service, SLO offers two possible approaches to the solution. Either the data that the sold part of the company needs is migrated to a new client using one of the data transfer methods (Legacy System Migration Workbench or Migration Workbench), or a client copy is created for the sold part of the company, and the data that the parent company no longer requires is removed from the client copy using the SLO service "delete company code.
Company merger
A company buys or takes over another company. The acquired company uses a different material numbering system than the buying company, for example. However, from the point of acquisition on, the same material numbers must be used, and it is therefore necessary to change the material numbers of the bought company.
With the SLO conversion service "material number conversion, the material numbers of the bought company are changed so that they correspond to the naming conventions used in the parent company. This is done using the Conversion Workbench.
Reorganization/restructuring in the company
A company was previously organized according to regions, and based its SAP system on this structure. However, an analysis of business processes reveals that a central, function-based organization would considerably increase efficiency in controlling. As a result, the controlling areas used to map the structure of the company in the SAP system must be adjusted accordingly.
With the help of the SLO service "controlling area merge and the Conversion Workbench, the old controlling areas, which were set up on a regional basis, can be merged into central units.
Optimization of business processes
In a government department, different standard charts of accounts are used for external and internal financial reporting. The duplicate work that this entails is becoming increasingly time-consuming and error-prone. The managers responsible decide that the external chart of accounts could also be used internally. As a result, the chart of account in the government departments SAP system must be adjusted to reflect this change.
The SLO conversion service "chart of account conversion makes it possible to rename or merge accounts and cost elements in the chart of account so that they meet the new requirements. The assignment table in which the changes are defined is retained in the SAP system after conversion for documentation purposes for an external audit, for example.

How to reset the data when the session lost?

When I use response.sendRedirect("http://localhost:82/main.jsp")
the session lost, because the URL before redirect is using SSL,
"https://localhost:81/index.jsp", they use the different port,
so the session lost, what should i do to prevent this? And how
to reset the data?

Create a HashMap and store it as an attribute of the servlet context. In the first servlet assign the user a key and store all session data in the HashMap under that key (use a vector, collection or user defined class).
In the response.sendRedirect call add the key to the url:
response.sendRedirect(url + "?key=" + userKey);
In the second servlet get the key (request.getParameter("key")), retrieve the session data from the HashMap in the servletcontext and store in an httpsession.
Remember to delete the entry from the HashMap so it doesn't become overly large.

sorry, I haven't saved the System-Logfile before restoring my parallels VM.
But it looks like issues of linking data.
For testing the Server services I have done a reset for a user password and I have deleted the profiles and configuration from Client-Side. One with Mac OS X 10.9.1, one iPad with iOS 6.1.3. But it was not possible to reconfigure/reinstall the Server Profile. Also a manually configuration was odd, because for some services the new password was necessary and for other services the old password. Very strange.
To bring back the services I have rolled back the last snapshot of my parallels VM. Afterwards there was no probleme to reconfigure/reinstall the Profile on Client-Side (OS X 10.9.1 and iOS 6.1.3). Also the manually configuration shows the password for all services are matching with the current configuration.
I'm going to install a further parallels VM with Mac OS X 10.9.1 and Server App 3 from scratch to move the services.

How do I reset the birth date in original set up?

I bought this iPad mini for my daughter who is 8. On original set up, it asked for a birth date, so I put hers. It will now not allow me to set up an apple ID saying that she isn't old enough. How do I reset the birth date to mine?

In Settings > iCloud on your iPad Mini (that is the device that you are using, family sharing requires iOS 8 ?) then there should be a 'Set Up Family Sharing' link/button at the top of the screen under your id - does that not show ? e.g.
After setting that up, then as the family organiser then you should be able to set up child accounts via Settings > iCloud > Family > Create An Apple For A Child on your iPad - the link in my above post has more info about that.

com.sap.isa.isacore.action.IsaCoreInitAction$StartupParameter this action class providing the special feature to store all data passed to it in the request as parameters into the session context and make them available for all other actions.
1. But in the inner class they had defined private parametrized constructor.
2. Action class is defined as final.(there is no chance to override the method)
3. There is no setter method (only getter() is available).
4. Creating a new Z_ class that is reflecting in entire application.
5.They had hard coded the Session attribute name in Action class.
6. Application is expecting a session object with the same attributes.
Is there any chance to create a new object for this class or any where any chance to reset the session data. Am using the Multiple_SoldTO concept in my application. My back end ECC .Please help me.

I am not sure about your requirement, but yet.. Did you check UserSessionData object? It encompasses all the session variables.

How to remove the IT policy from my Torch 9800, or how to reset the device to original setting

I have a Torch 9800 formerly- used for business emails. According to our company policy there was an IT policy installed to the device hence would force the user to set password protecting the device.
Now this device has been retired and I like to use it only for regular phone calls thus do not like to have a password protection. My question is:
How to remove the IT policy from the device?
or
How to reset the device to original setting?
I have been trying to swipe and scrub the device several times but that IT policy still exist. Need help......

How to erase the existance of a Time capsule

I would like to know how to erase the existance of a Time capsule, like it never existed, because sometimes I can see remains of my old network, and I'd like to know how to reset all this,

Welcome to the discussions!
You will want to do two things to get the TC back to total factory defaults:
1)Return all configuration settings to factory defaults
2)Erase your disk. (Do this only if you want to erase all of your backups).
Power down the TC for a few minutes
Hold in the reset button and KEEP holding it in as you plug the power back in
Release the reset button after approximately 10 seconds
Your configuration is now reset to factory defaults.
To erase the disk:
Open AirPort Utility, click Manual Setup
Click the Disk icon at the top of the setup pane
Click the Disks tab just below the icons
Click Erase. Choose your erase options only if you want to erase all backups.
That's it.

How to reset the military usage value in GTS Business partner

Hello Experts,
Does anyone know how to reset the Military usage value='2' to blank on the Business partner within GTS?
I tried putting a blank there, clicking on the accept entries button followed by saving the Business partner.
It does not seem to work this way.
Does anyone know if it's SAP bug for not having blank as one of the allowable values for the usage except when it's that way while newly created?

As I already informed you, it is not possible to re-set the indicator to <blank>.
From the program code, I can see that the usage indicator is only transferred from the feeder system during the creation of a customer partner. The value in GTS is set either to '1' or '2' during creation, and cannot be changed by any subsequent data transfer from the feeder system.
I think that logic is related to the fact that usage records may be created for multiple Legal Regulations, and those records may then be changed individually by the user in GTS. On that basis, it would not be reasonable to over-write the values by re-transferring the customer from the feeder system.
